I highly recommend Sincere Smiles! Dr Vafai and her team are amazing. The office is clean and you get to pick a movie to watch during the appointment! You are in and out, no waiting for 45 minutes in the waiting room like I have at most other places. Its an understatement to say Im grateful for the help with my smile. Thank you Dr Vafai!

I had a negative experience at this dental office. I needed to get a front tooth veneer filling because my previous filling fell out after biting on a hard piece of chicken bone. I sit down on the dental chair and they take xrays because I was a new patient. So far so good. Then when the dentist comes in, she starts doing a full teeth cleaning even though I had never requested one. I was very clear on why I came to the dentist - to get my front tooth filling. This cleaning takes up most of the appointment time. Keep in mind they are closed on the weekend so I had to take a couple hours off of work on the weekday in order to come in. This time spent cleaning could have been spent on the actual filling. Just a note that performing cleaning is covered 100% by my insurance who pays the clinic directly if such a procedure is performed, so there is a financial incentive for the clinic to perform the cleaning. So time runs out and I had to schedule another weekday appointment. Before leaving, I go into the back room where one of the assistants goes over my coverage and the cost of the treatment. She assures me that my insurance will treat it as a minor operation and give me a 80% discount (using words such as shouldnt/dont worry about it/etc. when asking if she was sure. She said it in a way that would assure me, yet left open the possibility for the insurance to still charge more. In my opinion this behavior is not professional or transparent. I later find out the coverage is only 50%. I have a pretty standard insurance from one of the big insurance companies through work, so I find it hard to believe that a dental office wouldnt know these things inside-out). I then go home. I come back for another appointment to finally do the filling which should have been done in the first appointment. The dentist does the filling, and I did not realize it at the time but I was dissatisfied because when I bite using my front teeth now, such as when biting to rip off tape, the fake tooth bites first (it is bigger than the adjacent front tooth now) so it is now getting all the pressure, so now the filling is more likely to fall again. The dentist also left no gap between the filling and adjacent teeth so I have to floss those teeth now, whereas before I could just use my brush to go between the teeth. The gap is so small now even flossing is hard. Not to mention food gets stuck there now. I go home after paying the price based on a 80% discount instead of a 50% discount. Some days later, I get a surprise additional invoice saying my insurance is only giving a 50% discount, resulting in me having to pay $50 more. I call them and the assistant denies ever assuring me about the coverage. They also kept sending me mail every month asking to pay the extra $50. They even threatened to send it to credit report/collections. What professional entity threatens to go to collections over $50? I finally pay the bill just so they stop bothering me and to prevent any damage to my credit score. They dont even have a secure way of paying this additional bill remotely. You have to call/mail them and give all the credit card information including cvc to the receptionist, or mail a check. No modern online options or secure credit card option. That requires in-person.In summary, I had a negative experience with regards to both the customer service aspect as well as the actual dental performance aspect. I will be going to a different dentist next time.

I was cheerfully and competently greeted through the initial contact and filling out the patient profile. My appointment began on-time, and I was well supported and informed about each step which the Assistant performed in preparation for the Doctors expert work.Ive had my teeth cleaned and inspected before, and this was by a good measure, the most expert, swift, and pain and surprise free experience of my life. The Doc has well trained hands and moves swiftly...I was amazed.Moreover, every staff member showed up as well grounded, positive, and cooperated with my stress-reduction technique of mixing necessary communication with humor.I couldnt have asked for a better initial visit to the Dentist. My wife loves this practice, and now I know why.

I decided to check out out Sincere Smiles based on reputation and location and I had a great experience. Based on this experience, Im moving the entire family over to this practice. Can not say enough good things about this place. Everything from the office itself, to the staff, to the super clean bathroom. Someone recommended it to me and now my entire household is going there. Everyone in the office is beyond helpful, kind, and friendly. And not in the fake “I’m being paid to be here” way. But in a legit, she hired an amazing staff way. Oh and the tech is way beyond what I knew existed, which means they are not cheap, but well worth every penny.

Highly recommend Sincere Smiles! The entire staff is excellent. Dr. Vafai is not only extremely professional she has shown true dedication to my dental needs and concern for my comfort.

Be careful about your treatment plan cost. They will possibly ask you later to pay more because your insurance is not covering 100% of the cost of treatment! In general this is an expensive place to have your teeth fixed with less transparency about your treatment plan costs.. I switched my business to another dentist and now Im more satisfied with both quality and costs of treatment Im receiving.

I love Hayley and Dr. Vafai :) Best dentist ever! I moved to Hayward 2 years ago and I still drive down to San Jose to see them; theyre that good.All the people that work there are very warm and welcoming and treat you like a friend immediately :)The technology they have is awesome. You can even watch a movie while you get a filling!

I have been a patient for several years and have only positive things to say. Dr Vafai is very friendly, professional, patient and always sensitive to my needs.I have a busy work schedule and she is kind enough to accommodate my ever changing schedule.Im prone to cavities and have to say that ever since Ive become her patient, my overall dental health has improved and that also helps my budget.She is fast, efficient and I never feel any pain. I have gone to Sincere Smiles a few times now for some dental work (teeth cleaning, fillings, etc) and have nothing but positive things to say about them. They are very knowledgable about Dentistry and I always feel very comfortable and assured every time I come into their offices.The staff is extremely polite, respectful and are always smiling which make it very inviting to come in. In addition, they seem to have the latest technological advancements (and personal TV screens w-DVDs in every chair) which make the experience even better.I would recommend Sincere Smiles to anyone who is looking for a new dentist or needs to get any Dentistry work done!

I cannot say enough about this place. I have had more than a few rough experiences when it comes to the dentist, but my fears have been calmed after visiting Dr. Vafai last week. The staff is friendly, the office comfortable, and the knowledge and experience of Dr Vafai is what makes this office stand apart from others.My initial exam showed that I had a few problem areas that should hopefully be resolved after a deep cleaning. I had my first session yesterday,and with the technology in the office it made the experience a pleasant one. I am sure I am one of the few lucky ones that did not experience much sensitivity or pain in general after having this procedure done, but I think part is due to the care that Dr. Vafai took in the process.This is one dentist office I look forward to visiting.

Dr. Vafai is a sincere and friendly doctor. I received a Laser whitening and white filling from her. Now my smile in pictures are much better. I no longer have floss shredding between my teeth and I am very satisfied with her work!

This place is great! Dr. Vafai leads a great team and has an awesome dentist office. It is clean, staffed by freindly knowledgeable staff with great attitudes and is a pleasure to be in! I work in the healthcare field and I have high standards for healthcare delivery and service standards and this place checks all the boxes. You know walking in that you will be welcomed with a smile, the staff will do everything they can to accomidate your schedule and you will get top notch care. You really cant ask for more than that. I am normally a little critical in reviews so you can tell I dont work for them but I dont have anything negative to say. They have text message and email reminders that can be easily added to what ever calendar you use... they do everything they can for you accept show up... A+

I had a variety of problems and was treated exceptionally well. The team including Rosanna and Haley and the Doctor are well prepared to handle any situation and they use the latest techniques in treatment. I have never been so impressed by a practice where the patients needs come first.

Dr Vafai and her staff treated me exceptionally well. I spent quite a bit of time in the chair getting onlays and crowns which seem to go by quickly because you can watch a movie while they work on you. Pretty cool! I would reccomend her to everyone!

WOW!! can you say high tech and super friendly!! After going to another dentist I decided to try Sincere Smiles and was blown away!!Dr. Vafai and her staff are amazing. On your first visit they give you a tour of the office which is state of the art and hands-Less.When I sat down to have some work done the doctior stays with you the whole time. The numbing is super painless when usually I can tell exactlly when the injection took place but with her nothing. I got my first tooth pulled and the experience was actually painless. She makes sure you are well numbed then completely distracts you from whats happening by having you watch a movie.I then had to get a filling and onlay done. I was like whats an onlay?...An onaly is like a crown but so much better. Same as before I felt nothing and my teeth look amazing!!!I would recomend this office to ALL of my family and friends because I truely believe Dr. Vafai genuinely concerned about my oral health!
