I give Lavande five stars. I have been going there for 17 years, since about the time they opened. They have the same excellent staff, where everyone is friendly, polite, and competent. I never wait, and the service is safe and excellent.

Very clean and well lite up. I was 8 months pregnant here. Normally I would do my own nails. I got the special during the holiday and the paraben wax. I had Diem the first time and I liked her but forgot her name the second time I went back. I Loved the way she did my French pedi.

So it was on July 18th and it was super hot day outside and when I came in due to being Sunday and being a busy day finding parking was tough so I rushed out without my water .I got seated and settled and after 15 mins o relaaized I left my bottle so I asked for water in return she said sorry due to covid we can’t give you water - which was fine . However , after that she went on to speak in their own language something along “ this isn’t it Starbucks” the worst is all the Mail saloon who has Asian owners who employees only their own kind ? Again perfect fine) needs to stop talking in their dialect especially in front of the customer . It’s the most unprofessional a d rude . They are most of time not talking about work but their customers. So for that reason no matter how wonderful the service was but I would never go back again nor will I suggest anyone to do so . Water is basic and all saloons do hive out bottle water leave it to customers to take it or leave it. !!!

Loved it. My 8 yr old got a pedicure and I got a manicure. Staff was very friendly and nice, not like some places that have full conversations without you knowing whats going on. I keep my nails natural with regular nail polish (not shellac). They did a great job. I find some people try to rush with the natural nails because theyre not getting paid a lot compared to acrylic. She took her time and painted all the way to the edges I did not have to ask for any touch-ups.

Its a good spa, but Ive been to better. Wish the chairs were massage chairs rather than shared benches/couches. The sinks could be better. Higher prices and reservations required. Front desk not so friendly or helpful but the workers were amazing!

The pedicure was fantastic, I had no issue with the tub being small. Very professional. Recommend it. Price was not bad for the location.

Bad experience. It took 35+ min to take the shilac off. Got cut twice during the process. Order special pedicure with 10 min massage. She stopped after 3 min and needed to point out the that I would have 7 more min. Then when she put my sandals on, messed up my polish. Worst experience ever!

The pricing is way too expensive. If you call the Lavande in Palo Alto they charge $10 less on manicures. The salon is by my house so I used to go them frequently and they rarely charged me the same price twice. I had to carry the receipt with me. Whenever I ask them to explain pricing or service my manicurist would get upset. Its a shame Im not going back because they gouge me every time.

Their manicure was not worth the price! I paid $60 dollars for a SNS dip powder service and after a weak all of it was lifting and three had completely fallen off. I also told the lady not to buff my nails too much. since I am trying to grow out acrylic damage. I further explained to her that I need to avoid anything that will make them any thinner. Of course it went in one ear and right out of the other and she over buffed them. She also cut me on two of my fingers in the process!! I literally had scabs on around my cuticles.

The nail technician cut me twice with the cuticle scissors. I had to ask her to put antiseptic or alcohol on it she didnt do it automatically. Ill stick with my usual place, Tammys Nail Spa in Willow Glen

I absolutely love getting pedis here by my favorite lady, Tuyen! She is one of the best and has hands like an angel! I will always treat myself to a pedi at Lavande as much as I can and have taught my daughters to do the same. It is a fun and enjoyable experience when all three of us can be here at the same time! I loved the work my nail techs did but the spa was anything but. There was no comfortable massage chairs just a straight back bench with dirty pillows. Also, the foot baths were literally small shallow kitchen sinks. This place is more for utilitarian purposes (just get your Mani/Pedi sans relaxation) not spa-like at all. If you go, ask for Thi (Mani) or Diem (Pedi), their work was great!!

I made an apt for 630 yesterday and when I arrived not only could they not find my appointment when they did they asked for payment up frount. Ive been to many spas and NEVER been asked for payment prior to having service done. I was also told that they would not allow me to tip with the 20.00 on the gift card that was put on along with the amount for the services. They finally agreed. The mani only lasted 2 hours before becoming chiped.
