I had a wonderful experience here. They gladly fixed my frames here for free. I was also greeted very kindly when I walked in. They were happy to let me try on frames while I waited for my frames to be fixed! I cant wait to come back for my next pair of frames!

Staff is friendly and helpful. They have a lot ot frames to choose from. Once you try on a pair of glasses you put them on the side for them to clean and disinfect. I really appreciate this. They didnt mind that I was trying on many of them, which later had to be clean. I was encouraged to try as many as it took to find my perfect pair. The place was clean. I definitely recommend this place to others. I will be buying my glasses from them from now on. Thank you Veronica for helping me.

My visit was awesome. I came in for sunglasses and ended with the new ray- ban stories. These arent your regular ray-bans,they have cameras and speakers in them, cant wait to put them to use. Thanks to everyone there at Oakridge lenscrafters,super helpful.

Very horrible experience. Was treated with such prejudice as I went to get my glasses exchanged through warranty that I purchased. The optical technician and the sales person were both argumentative and rude. Would not recommend their services

Excellent service. Broke my glasses the day before. They are the only shop that answered my phone call within a 50 mile radius of me. I called Hayward,Dublin,Oakland did not answer for calling for 3 hours straight. They answered right away. Let me talk to the glasses lab to see if they could make my prescription. He said yes. We drove over an hour to get there. All staff was amazing and friendly. They were waiting for me ,so I didnt have to wait in line. Overall, the front staff and glasses department we above what I expect in customer service.10 stars. Thanks to then I can go to work tomorrow.

Terrible place - avoid at any price! Lost an hour waiting, just to be told that I will have to wait more and they can’t guarantee my turn today. All this for just five minute job! They have only one technician in the shop.

I bought my daughters glasses April 13th which was a lot of money. Here it is May 18th and I still havent received it. Ive called twice and all I get is we have no control over the vendor.Im going in on my next day off to get a refund, enough is enough.Never again

The actual exam itself went great. However, I was not given my contact lens prescription and getting ahold of them to obtain a copy has been an extremely frustrating experience.Ive now left SIX messages in the last week(most of them left DURING business hours) requesting a call back from the Doctors office, have yet to hear ANYTHING. Their answering machine is also not setup to allow you to talk to a live person at the doctors office.

Edit: Had an issue with a customer service person telling me the prescription I had in my e-mail wouldnt be valid, which wasnt true because I had to go last minute to another location that night to replace broken glasses so I could drive to work the next day. She knew this and didnt even wait for me to pull it up before being dismissive. Still I went back to this location again to spend use or lose money at the end of the year and they were a lot more helpful. The doctor decided to share his views on religion with me during the appointment and I certainly wasnt there to be proselytized to other views of belief or unbelief. The rest of the staff were working together quite well at the end of the year end rush. and were helpful and friendly.

Walked into the store around 4:30pm on a Wednesday afternoon. The store was packed so I walked around the mall to by some time. I came back and there were 2 workers talking. After I was in the store for about 2-3 mins I did not get any help as I looked over the display. 2 more people walked and and they helped them right away. Not sure why this happened but I now understand why this place has a review rating of 3.3 stars.

Blonde girl always has some sort of attitude problem. The first time we were there she was short and unprofessional when communicating with co-workers/employees and looked like she was about to break down crying from stress, we assumed she was a new employee and tried to ignore her as much as possible, and felt sorry for her because she seemed so overwhelmed. The second time we had to go back we found out she was actually a manager, and still apparently had not figured out how to have a better day. She acted like it was such a back breaking task to help anyone, rolled her eyes when someone else who worked there asked her a question, and simply treated everyone in the store like it would ruin her already horrible existence of a day to try and sell a pair of glasses.For our exam, they ran the insurance and everything was fine initially. But then the aforementioned “manager” kept popping in and interrupting the exam to change her mind? First she popped in and said “Never mind, we are out of network, so it’s going to be $90 for your exam.” To which we argued that this wasn’t true because we literally picked them from our insurance’s list of providers. Then she popped back in and claimed that she had gotten the authorization for my husband, but not for me. She eventually called the insurance and got everything settled, yet still tried to charge us money for our exams even though they’re covered by our insurance 100%. That’s not even the worst of it. On two different follow up occasions actually trying to get glasses, they claimed that they could not get authorization for our insurance on a Sunday, (which is the only day my husband and I are able to come due to work) even though they literally just called the insurance on a Sunday due to the whole exam debacle. I even called our insurance myself and they informed me that LensCrafters had an open authorization already from where we got the exams so they already know there’s no issue. My insurance then tried to call the LensCrafters whose phone number and fax number on file (and on the prescription for glasses) are incorrect/out of service. So we had to go in person again and they claimed the same thing, that they could not use our insurance on a Sunday because they needed an authorization, even though they already had one. I was able to get the insurance on the phone, but she was too busy being inconvenienced by someone else to continue helping us. The only reason we went though any of this is because there was a pair of glasses I really liked, so we put them on hold just in case, and finally gave up and went to JC Penny’s who was also unable to use our insurance, but not because it was a Sunday, but because this LensCrafters had kept an open authorization hold on our insurance for glasses we never got because they claimed they couldn’t get an authorization. We couldn’t call the LensCrafters to settle this because, again, no working phone number, and at this point in the day our insurance really was closed because we wasted the entire day two weeks in a row at LensCrafters. Took weeks to get glasses anywhere because of this horrible customer service and untrained staff. We finally had to have the insurance close out LensCrafters authorization and happily got even better looking glasses and amazing customer service at JC Penny Optical at Eastridge Mall. Don’t waste weeks of your life with this place, they don’t deserve your money.

Came in earlier for my appointment and still had to wait until after my appointment time but after I was seen it was excellent customer service and all the staff was smiling and nice and the Drs were nice and explained everything to me where I could understand everything! Got set up with contacts and glasses in under 1hr. Love them!!!

Wasted $300 and they would not accept return. Manager ask me to use it as a backup and spend another 300 to buy a second pair. Doctor’s prescription too aggressive too. I threwit away and got another pair from Costco with corrected prescription.
