I had stayed at Support systems for a full 40 day Detox + residential treatment. The staff from the very beginning was awesome and has helped me through a lot of issues and provided great support. My insurance did not cover my program however, the price for treatment was not as expensive as other facilities. I got just as much out of this, if not more than other treatment programs. The rooms and beds are very comfortable and the food is amazing as its cooked fresh, on site daily. My overall stay was an awesome experience as Ill never forget what I learned here. I will implement what I learned here on a daily basis as I work through my recovery on the outside. I just want to thank all the staff for what they have taught me through this process. I would highly recommend Support systems to anyone who is on the fence, or struggling with addiction.

Going in, I was completely frightened. Its my first time at a rehab and I didnt know what I was getting myself into. Staff immediately made feel at home and assured me that I was in the right place. Turns out they were right. I cant describe how much I enjoyed staying here and working on recovery. I really needed to sit down and shut up and listen! I highly recommend coming here, even if its just for detox. We all deserve a chance.

This was my first time in treatment and I can say with all honestly that SSH saved my life. If I didn’t check into treatment when I did, I’d surely be dead. I spent well over a decade in active addiction and never thought I’d get sober. I now have the tools and information to stay on the good path and live my life happy and sober.

I really recommend that anyone that wants to go into recovery to come to support systems home! They have the BEST staff and counselors, period! The help you in your addictions and in any problem you may have. The staff welcomed me , worked with me and helped me every step of the way, to my very last day there! I appreciate each one of them dearly, with helping me with my sobriety ! Thank you so much SSH !!

It was an amazing experience, I love my counselor Judy, she teaches recovery very well. Also the counseling staff, Donna, Peggy, Coach, Marcy and Scotty made my stay here comfortable. It felt like they cared a lot about me and the whole group here. Jeff is an asset to this company he really cares about the clients individually and takes care of anything that is needed. The only bad thing is Racheal is always in a mood and very unprofessional. The food here is good but sometimes she doesnt know how to talk to people.

This is my third rehab experience and I stayed 6 weeks. I was very grateful to be able to get a bed quickly (the very next day). This is not a resort or a vacation, its a rehab. You wont find a spa or masseuse here, but you will find a safe and supportive environment to work on yourself. The staff was helpful and kind, but of course they are humans too. The main counselor was very helpful and intuitive - she was able to pinpoint what some of my personal issues to focus on were. Overall, I would recommend this facility to anyone who is serious about working on themselves. Other facilities might have more amenities, more people, etc. but I found that having less external distractions helped me get a lot more out of my time here.

Staff at this facility have been essential in my recovery from addiction to drugs and alcohol. I have been to many other rehab facilities and havent experienced this level of support anywhere else. This community of addicts in recovery helping each other stay clean is a safe haven for the lost and dejected. I leave here with a strong support system and a home to go to with a sister program to strengthen my recovery.

I am so grateful to the staff for their support, from my first phone call to teaching me about my disease. I feel like I finally have a hold on my alcoholism. This program saved my life as I was on a mission to die. However, as a professional, the company needs to do something about the owner. He is very disruptive, has no respect for the staff and appeared under the influence on at least one occasion (alcohol could be smelled). He also rarely wore a mask when at the Morrison house around staff and clients.

Overall great experience, the counselors really helped me find the root cause of why I use and helped me develop coping skills to help prevent a future relapse. Both counselors are very smart and helped me build a solid foundation for me to reenter back into society and work toward my goals. Also before I left my counselor made sure that i had a solid exit plan to help me get on my feet stress free. During the week we have daily 12 steps meetings at night and various different activities during the day, along with educational groups to help teach you more about your addiction.

I have two loved ones that went to Support Systems. Is it high end maybe it BUT you have to be ready for recovery no matter where you go. Whether a $10k a day center or a court mandated center. If you’re ready you can do it! So the people giving it 1 star. I don’t think you were ready yet. I hope you embrace recovery now or soon. 💜💜💜 Life without alcohol and drugs is so fulfilling I know it doesn’t seem that way now but it really is!!!

Support Systems gave me the foundation for my sobriety. I voluntarily checked myself in for 30 days and eventually decided to stay at Support Systems inpatient care for 60 days. The staff is very welcoming and will make you feel safe and comfortable during such a transitional period. The counselors helped me work through my core issues behind why I abused substances. I have been sober now for 11 months! Thank you, Support Systems!

For the ones who fear to ask for help, fear no more. SSH was an experience I would not think twice about doing again. I pray to God that I dont have to come back. But with that said, from the second I walked in and was greeting by the lovely staff, they were SUPER supportive, patient and made me feel welcome and taken care of. As like every new experience in life, you are always nervous. The environment here was very Home like. It didnt feel like I was trapped. Today 7/24 marks 30 days of sobriety for me. In these 30 days I have fully committed and devoted all my time to learning and listening on how to continue my recovery journey outside these safe environment. I have learned that with this disease we are not alone and we dont have to keep trying to deal with our emotions by ourselves. You have to use the tools and the people around you to help when your having difficulties. Life is going to throw plenty of obstacles at me. But with my bag full of Tools that I have learned here at SSH, I feel that I have learned how to work through situations instead of, avoiding or going around. Tomorrow Friday 7/25 is my exit date. I would be lying if I wasnt nervous for what lies ahead. But, whatever is to come on this new life journey, I have faith in what I have learned and know that I AM NOT ALONE. To bigger and brighter days. Thank you to all at SSH for the love and support and knowledge you have passed on to me. May you all continue to live happy and healthy lives.-Ivan

I spent 30 days at Support Systems Homes in San Jose during July and August of this year. Over the 30 days there was a noticeable transformation from a mediocre residential program to a highly effective structured top-notch program. Sonja, who personally took point to make sure my and other clients needs and concerns were met, was a Godsent. Since my departure, through friendships I maintained, I’ve learned they’ve even made additional improvements to their program. I likely wouldn’t recommend this program during the first few days of my treatment, but I can now say knowing true improvements and additions to staff that I would whole heartedly recommend Support Systems Homes!

My first two weeks at Support Systems Homes (SSH) it was very tough for me but. I believe it would have been much worse at home or at a outpatient program. The staff at SSH are compassionate, professional and well educated in the matters of detox, withdraw and recovery. I believe the staff have the best interest of the clients, who come there for help. I stayed for 4 weeks and learned tools to help me to stay sober. The councillors are great, Yvette help me work through emotions, damaging negative thoughts and stressors that help contribute to my addition problems . I was a self pay client and it was worth every penny. You can not put a price on your future.

Please, please, PLEASE, STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE!!!! It is somewhat true that your environment does not matter, change comes from within. But that is only true to a certain extent. You should not be miserable for your whole recovery process! This place does not care about the clients. They only care about the money. Their Transitional Housing Units are EVEN WORSE than the Residential Treatment Center.I have been to about 10 different programs, and this has by far been the worst. I am clean now and have 2 and a half years sober, but this place drove me to relapse, and then relapse again, and again. After blaming everything on myself and somehow convincing myself to try to give this place numerous chances, it started to come to me that maybe this place was not a good fit for me. So in their defense, I left under the impression that it just wasnt for me, but it might work for other people.People, I PROMISE YOU, this place has not worked for ANYONE. After i left, I heard so many stories about how shady this place is, that I started to get annoyed, not only with the lack of care, but the amount of horror stories I heard. I will not go into details as to how messed up this program is, because if i did that I believe I could put this place out of business. As big of a resentment that I have with Support Systems, I try to convince myself that maybe they will change someday, and start to actually care about people. Hoping. Always, hoping. One thing in specific I will say.... Please Avoid Bob, the House manager at White Oaks. He is not a nice person. He has worked there for 13 years and is miserable, and it shows. It rubs off on the clients. White Oaks House with Bob as the manager is a DANGEROUS place to live if you are an addict like myself. I say this with full confidence and no sense of exaggeration; YOU WOULD BE BETTER OFF LIVING HOMELESS ON THE STREETS THAN IN THIS HOUSE.There is so much help out there. Dont resort to this because its free. It will cost you a lot more than any amount of money.

Off top, the treatment and compassion I received was very helpful. The staff, all the way from my first contact with the administration to my outpatient and SLE was more than I could ask for. BUT, the owner is not a nice person. I personally saw him degrade and try to shame employees, even in front of clients. He comes around at all hours day and night and seems like he is the one under the influence. Its like everyone walks on eggshells and lives in fear when he is there. Very sad for the staff, they are really trying to make a difference.

I was here for 52 days. I have been to Mariposa and House on the Hill before so i have some experience with recovery homes. Let me be honest with you. If you are serious about your recovery you will get it anywhere you can. You will utilize your time here wisely. My experience was amazing. I met amazing people and my counselor Kara G was so wonderful. They help you to dig deep into the root of the problem. Its not just about using drugs its about what drove you to use drugs and that is where they help you to recover. The food is delicious (thanks Jose) and there is an AA NA meeting every night of the week in the facility except for Sunday which is Mountain Mikes pizza night. This place helped me so much. The staff is great, they really motivate you to be all you can be. and they are ex addicts with alot of time under there belts so they know how to live life on lifes terms and they teach you how to do the same.
