This is a place for healing, really healing, Staff is so friendly, kind, and mindful. I walked into Numo a a couple months ago with unbearable pain thanks to acupuncture, cups, yoga really made a change in my body and my mind, if you are in pain and want to avoid pills (painkillers or anti inflammatory) this is the place to go.

I had pretty severe back pain in my mid to upper back on the left side, most likely due to break dancing. Went here to get it treated with a massage and after the first day, it already felt significantly better. However some of the pain was still there, so I went back for a second session and the results were pretty wild. The next day I felt 90% better, and that last 10% of pain faded over the next few days. So in total, Id say the treatment was very worth.Chuck was the one who treated me and let me just say he definitely knows exactly what hes doing. Its really nice because hell talk to you as hes performing different techniques, explaining what they are and what its good for. Hell also identify problem areas and how to fix, so youre not just left in the dark on whats happening. Chucks a real personable guy with a friendly personality, and calm soothing voice which fits with the overall feel of the place. The facility itself is very relaxing and nice to be in, very zen. It was my first time getting any serious massage treatment and Im glad Chuck was able to make it a comfortable experience. Will definitely be returning when I need to!

I just wanted to write this review to thank the staff at Numo. I have experienced upper back and chest tension for almost a decade now. I have had several physical examination and had manual therapies from multiple therapists over the years. However, none of them worked well and I have not felt much better. Jonathan is my acupuncturist and he is experienced and heart-warming. This is the first time i tried acupuncture and I find it so effective and powerful! They also have an amazing massage therapist: Chuck palpated my troubled areas and provided a thorough treatment plan including message therapy, cupping, and guasha therapy. After a few visits i have seen a lot of progress and hope i could get treated more often after this quarantine.

The first time I visited Numo acupuncture was 3 years ago. I had come in with a severe back pain and I was not able to stand/sit comfortably. I had also never tried acupuncture before, so I wasnt sure if acupuncture would be effective in treating sciatica or herniated disc in the lower back. So what do you do when your on lock down because of shelter in place(SIP) and your in a ton of pain? Well I jumped on yelp and looked for acupuncture place that is open. I make an appointment with Faye and she asked what are the symptoms. I tell her where it hurts and she places a few painless needles accordingly and hour later I’m back to my normal self. I feel very lucky they were open and easy to deal with. I would highly recommend them!

I was desperate when I came to Victoria in the beginning of January, she gave me a lot of great recommendations, and doing acupuncture with her have improved my state significantly. Even though my condition is chronic, and lasted for years without improvement she was able to get me in much better state.I didnt interact with the rest of the Numo Acupuncture staff, but everyone is welcoming and friendly there. Im generally very anxious person, coming to this place feels comfortable.

Victoria is a unique practitioner with specialized skills and knowledge of both sides of the spectrum. She has a background in pharmacy which enhances her treatment plans to encompass Western and Eastern philosophies. She is very patient and is quite passionate about what she does which shows in the treatment style and professional advice she provides.After several visits with her, I realized the treatment plans, nutritional advice and lifestyle modifications that she recommends have been much more relevant than many typical medical office visits Ive had for many common chronic issues.

Great place. Veronica is fantastic. She has a great vibe, saved me from pain and low energy, and is generous to teache how acupuncture and health works. I like to get an acupuncture session followed by cupping. Numo had a community-style room, a couple personal nooks, and a smaller private rooms.

Best back pain relief during SIP for covid 19. The clinic is clean and disinfect before and after every session. Faye luong is very knowledgeable. She not only give treatment but also advise me on how to maintain and tips on how to reduce future flare up. Such a blessing to be treated by acupuncture instead of relying on pain med.

What makes this place great is the people that work here. It’s obvious that the staff really enjoys working together and that family-feel is obviously extended to all of their patients. I have had numerous injuries from years of martial arts and strength training, and the staff here have been a big help with the various services they offer, especially one of their newest therapists, Chuck. He went the extra mile by trying to understand the root of the dysfunction causing the back pain i have dealt with for years, and I felt the best I had in a long while after his massage and Gua Sha treatment.

I was seen by Melanie and she was wonderful. I left with extreme relaxation and this morning I woke up with great energy. It is really hard for me to calm down and the treatment did wonders.

Sarah is an angel as a skilled and knowledge person, but also as a human being! She has helped to make significant process to heal my shoulder and arm which is a problem Ive hand for almost 10 years. Great and friendly staff. Jonathan has been helpful from the start. Came in with a super stiff neck and was recommended some cupping with acupuncture. After that I was able to move my neck around which was great, because I had a Spartan race event coming up in the weekend. Also have been seeing Sarah for Myofascial massages for my back. My back has never felt so good. She got all the tightness out and I will be coming back for those at least once a month. If your looking for something that’s not going to break your pockets and give great results. I highly recommend this place.

I heard bone broth can help speed up recovery for surgery patient. I bought for my wife. She cranked bone broth approximately 1 week before surgery and continued to drink after surgery. She had a speedy recovery compared to the surgery she had two years. My wife was energetic post surgery and was on own by the end of the week. The bone broth was tasty and easy to make. All I had to was open the bag and add the contents into the slow cooker with water.

I absolutely love Numo Acupuncture. Ive been coming here for about 7 years now. I have had success with fertility, plantar fasciitis, inflammation in my knee because of ligament issues, and vertigo. While I find myself going when Im in pain I wish I could go all the time for overall health and peaceful feelings. Ive been dealing with mild anxiety and paranoia in certain situations in my life for the past 15 years. It wasnt until my friend recommended me to try alternative therapies, specifically acupuncture and massage. Sort of skeptical, but why not. I searched for acupuncture clinics near me and Numo Acupuncture was on the top of the list. I took a look at their website, seems legit. So I booked an appointment using their online scheduling system, which was nice because Im the sort of person who wants hassle free booking.There were a lot of therapies I havent heard about so I went straight for first time acupuncture.I never had acupuncture done before, but I wasnt afraid of needles or anything. It was actually a very relaxing experience, and I felt my body tingle in various places when he put the needles in. I asked him about it and he said it was the energy moving, and rebalancing.Where Numo truly shined was after the treatment. My body felt lighter, and I was less occupied in my head. Compared to before, I felt like I was a very heady person. A few days after the treatment, I still felt nice and evened out. I plan to go back and get regular treatment once quarentine is over, since my last treatment was just before shelter in place started. Next time, I plan to do a 60 min massage. I will update the review after massage therapy.Overall, very clean clinic, nice staff, and surprisingly effective treatment.

I am so happy I found Numo! I had a place I was going to in San Diego for years. I recently moved to San Jose and went on the hunt. After reading the yelp reviews I took a chance and beyond happy I did. Dr. G is amazing. I am a yoga instructor and an active human. I have hardware in my right leg and deal with occasional body alignment issues and pain. Through my injury rehab, which was extensive I have visited many offices like Numo but none of the doctors are like Dr. G. She takes in your whole body, has many different processes to bring to the table, asks the right questions and gives you homework. She can only do her part, so make sure you do yours and you will feel like a whole new person! Writing this review reminds me, I need to make an appointment!

I came in to Numo due to my lower back pain. I’ve decided to get cupping as I’ve heard that many athletes are getting cupping to relieve muscle tensions and help circulate the blood. Faye from Numo affirm the benefits of cupping and was very detailed about procedure. It did not take long and I was out of there in about 30 mins. I have used Faye Luong Acupuncture Service for my right shoulder. I was having so much pain when I lift the hand over my shoulder or took hand behind my back. Faye knew what was going on with my shoulder. Thank god i found FAYE... FAYE has cured my lower back problem .. my lower back pain started around November 2013 and its not just a normal pain it was excruciating pain which i cant explain .Got my x ray done it was normal and the doctor said ohh its just a pinch nerve and gave me steroid shot which didnt help.Found Faye thru a Groupon Deal and set my appointment with her. But Faye made the whole experience painless and comfortable. Needless to say, my lower back pain subsided faster than I expected.
