I have been seeing Dr. Hession for 4 years and she has given me minimally invasive tips to improve the quality of my skin. When I crashed my bike and skid my face on the ground, she helped me with topical treatment that left basically no scars. See the progression below of only 6 weeks. I have been seeing Dr. Meghan Hession a couple of years. I worked as a lifeguard when I was younger and have spent my career outdoors, have skin damage and a previous skin cancer. She is very knowledgeable and educated on skin cancers and conditions which are the result of sun damage. She is always energetic and takes time to explain what the different suspicious spots on my skin are and when to be concerned. Dr. Hession is not one of those doctors that seems to be in a hurry to leave as I regularly need check ups and she takes the time and documents what she observes to see if there are any changes. I have also seen her for some cosmetic procedures which she is very skilled in performing.

Dr. Hession is excellent. She is an expert in her field and very thorough as a physician. She is dedicated to patient care and is very friendly and thorough. I totally trust her with my care and can’t recommend her enough!

I see the five-star ratings and positive reviews on Dr. Meghan Hession and wonder whether were talking about the same dermatologist I saw a couple of days before Christmas in 2017.I think about her every time as I look at myself in a mirror and see a half-inch long scar on my cheek as a result of the biopsy she took a year ago. I was waiting for the scar to disappear with time; however, according to other dermatologists, it is not going to happen. She tried to explain my skin condition by using Latin terms and when I asked what it really meant, she repeated the same terms by razing her voice in annoyance, so I actually question her communication skills. I speak several foreign languages, but unfortunately, Im not fluent in Latin...She didnt only misdiagnose my sunspot by claiming that it was an eczema and giving me a medication for it--which obviously didnt work--but also suggested to take a few cells from this sunspot for a biopsy. A few cells were taken from the middle of my large quarter-sized sunspot. I wished she would have told me that this scar she left on my face was permanent... I also have been wondering why it was necessary to cut my skin from the center of this sunspot, the most visible place on my face, and not from a less-noticeable location... According to other dermatologists, sunspots are very common and are easy to diagnose correctly: they are benign and performing a biopsy on them is completely unnecessary. Caveat emptor!

Came in for the first time and met with Dr. Hession. The facility is beautiful, and Dr. Hession was great- she took time to discuss my questions and concerns and explained all of my options. She doenst push unnecessary products on you, which a lot of other doctors tend to do in my experience. I recommend her and will return!

It is a horrible feeling to see a doctor for something that is bothering you and to be made to feel that you are just a number or a dollar sign. We are real people with real issues who sometimes need care and help.After reviewing my history and gaining a full understanding of my issue Dr. Hession quickly suggested a few different types of treatments that no other previous doctor had offered. We quickly figured out the most effective treatment and for the first time in years I was able to gain control of the issue. Dr. Hessions knowledge combined with her out of the box thinking finally helped me to move forward. I will forever be grateful.Ensuing appointments with Dr. Hession have always been a pleasure. She exhibits great bed side manners, is kind, pleasant, friendly and very professional. She always takes the time to share her knowledge and educate me which again is something that was lacking with the other doctors that I have seen. After a long search I am so glad to have found my go-to dermatologist!
