I don’t even know where to begin with this place. The people here are very nice, but that’s just about it. Don’t let it cover up the fact that they will scam you and charge you hundreds in co-insurance for what they had previously claimed has “all in network and covered by insurance.” Please, don’t make the same mistake that I did and not do research prior to coming here because you will get screwed over if you don’t know your exact coverage for the codes that they submit. I am told I owe hundreds of dollars for iv infusions that may as well have been sugar water because they didn’t help AT ALL. Not only that, the doctor who told me to get them told me that everything was in network and there was not going to be any out of pocket expenses. NOT TRUE. I feel lied to and misled, scammed for treatment that did not benefit me whatsoever. Save your money and go see doctors that have approved, legitimate treatment options.

I had a very bad experience here. I saw Doctor Tritt three times and left feeling more helpless each visit than when I walked in. My first experience with Naturopathic medicine and was told that there was nothing she could do for me. I have had some bad experiences with doctors in the past year but have never been made to feel more helpless by a doctor before. I dont know about the other doctors at the practice but I do not recommend.

I just started seeing Dr. Silberman a few months ago. So far, I absolutely love this practice and the staff. They are extremely nice and I love their way of practicing medicine. I believe they are genuinely good people. I will admit that sometimes its really hard to get an appointment in a timely manner because they are so far booked out. But, their front desk is responsive and kind.

A wonderful experience! Both of the doctors I’ve seen here were kind and professional. I never felt rushed or disregarded. Nice building and friendly staff. Glad to have found this place!

I have never seen such bad medical services in the U.S. a) The staff messed up with my appointments twice! Both of the doctors did not know that my appointment was virtual appointment and did not send me the zoom link. After I called the front desk to tell them that I did not get the zoom links and confirmed with them my email address , they still did not relay the info back to the doctor. And the doctor and I were waiting for 20-30 mins, each time! b) Dr.Lam only spent 30 min with me as a result of the staffs mistake. I did not get the full description of what I am supposed to do as she promised that she will send me the description. I only got medicine prescription without knowing what to do with them.Overall, I see this institute as NOT CARING for patients, and NOT PROFESSIONAL to meet basic standards. A total waste of my two hours.

All around terrible appointment. Not only was my appointment over 40 minutes late, I overheard staff making an unprofessional, unkind remark regarding a client (which wasn’t difficult as it was in the lobby), and social distancing measures are not being implemented, my appointment with Dr. Gray to establish a PCP was maybe 15 minutes. Very little questions were asked about why I wanted to establish a PCP or my medical history/background, so if you are looking for a new PCP, I suggest going elsewhere.

CHWB gave me hope for dedicated doctors, knowledgeable, holistic doctors and genuine connection between the doctor and patient. My daughter and I transferred to CHWB almost a year ago and I’ve been blown away but the attention and understanding we continuously receive. Special thank you Dr. Grey, Dr. Fellman and Dr. Blosiu.Dr. Fellman’s commitment to truly get to know my daughter and how to get her better has been absolutely priceless! She opened my eyes to so many options and tests to understand what can we do and what we shouldn’t do in the process, I have never ever had so much trust in our doctor before.Dr. Blosiu is amazing person and professional chiropractor with such unique experience and expertise. It’s a true fortune to be his patient. He can cure the pain in the instant which I wouldn’t believe if I wasn’t the one who experienced it! His eagle eye for what’s needed to get you better will blow your mind.Thank you CHWB! You truly gave me hope for better, holistic care and human touch in each interaction.

This is the best place to go for your healthcare. Dr. Gray & Dr. Silberman are amazing. Best experience I’ve had in healthcare. I will be continue going here because of the positive experiences I have had.

I love this place. They are concerned about their patients and take a very good care. I got my appointment hassle free and had to wait for 5 minutes only. Doctor and all the staff are competent. They know what they are doing. Highly Recommended!

I have recently started seeing Dr. Grey and also Dr. Lam and very impressed with both of them. My wife is also a patient and goes to IV clinic. We both love this place! The staff are all super friendly- feels like a big family. Highly recommend!

This was overall one of the worst experiences Ive had with a doctors office. I had three appointments at this overpriced center for wellbeing. The nurse who first looked at me was friendly, but the doctor herself (Dr. Gray) was very rushed and uncaring. For one thing she took a good 5 minute personal phone call while I was waiting for her in her office in front of me. Secondly the examination she performed on me was only like 2 minutes long and later came out to be wrong when I went to another doctor after a horrible experience with her.My suggestion is AVOID THIS PRACTICE!

The second experience (and last) that I will deal with the poor lack of care at this chaotic money-focused clinic. Labs that should be done at appointments are not, causing you to come back for another appointment - happened to me twice! When you are paying out-of-pocket for health care, you cant afford to pay for several appointments to solve a simple infection.

This office was recommended to me and I initially had a great experience. However, they had me schedule bloodwork, but failed to tell me over the phone it had to be done during a “specific” time Within my cycle. Therefore, the majority of my labs were considered invalid and unusable. I then received a $650 bill for my “unusable” labs and while the office agreed that it was “their error” they have refused to assist in covering even a portion of my bill. They initially acted like they cared and said they would figure something out. Yet they have not returned the 4 voicemails I have left to correct the situation. I now have to pay the $650 for invalid labs or get sent to collections. To me, this is horrible customer service and entirely uncaring on their part. I would NOT recommend this office to anyone, which is sad... because the doctors seemed quite good. Yet if they are going to treat people like this... you cannot trust they have your best interest in mind.**Originally I gave the Center 1 star because of everything mentioned above... however, this issue was eventually resolved and I was given a full reimbursement. I was very grateful to Cheryl who helped correct this situation. Thank you so much!

Integrative medicine at its finest! This place is so cool, I love the different types of treatments available for patients who either have chronic illness, pain or cancer, or for those trying to optimize their wellness. The staff is excellent and knowledgeable, and I highly recommend Dr. Gray as a Primary care physician. Keep it up!

I would rate it zero stars if i could. This place should not even be in business. They treat patients like a money making machine. They have continuously cancelled many of my appointments and when asked for the reason behind it they don’t know themselves or they say Dr gray won’t be in. 😡 Why schedule appointments when the doctor won’t even be there?! Then when they try to reschedule they don’t give you an appointment until months later!! Absurd. Will not be returning to this place.

By far the worst practice in terms of ethics. Left my wife in the waiting room until after close, FORGOT about her. They said they would wave the fee of the appointment. They didnt keep their word and sent to collections. Dishonest!

This place saved my life. A year ago, I went there when I was on about 19 pills a day and severely depressed. I traveled from Florida and rented an apartment for a month nearby just to get the NAD therapy. It was worth every penny! I did NAD therapy and got off every single one of my medications, and I dont need them anymore! I feel amazing! Before I went I was told by psychiatrists that I would never get off my medications. I told one psychiatrist from NY I wanted children and he laughed in my face. I was also told I might have a hard time getting pregnant because of all the medications. Well this did not deter The doctors or nurses at CHWB at all. they were so nice and treated me like family. And today my little boy turns 6 weeks old and every day I wake up with a smile! Thank you so much for doing what no other doctor said was possible! CHWB saved my life and gave me a new one. I highly recommend going there!

Courteous, prompt, knowledgable and extremely flexible when it comes to their clients needs. From my very first visit only a week ago, I decided to become a client for life. I know a good thing when I find it, and I found one here in Dr Gray and The Center for Health and WellBeing.

This is a unique clinic. I have been seen by Dr Humiston since Jan of 2017 for issues stemming from candida with amazing results. The anti-inflammatory diet and candida protocol have truly changed my life for the better. In four months, I am a 180 from where I was for nearly 20 years of illness. The protocol takes time and patience. If it took me almost 20 years to get sick, its not going to go away in a month. Gratefully, The closer I paid attention to the diet, the more I was able to recognize when symptoms changed and for the first time in my life, tie them to what I had eaten 6-72 hours previously. Its always easier to track when you know the protocol inside and out and then know exactly what you have eaten. The three times I got derailed were eating foods I either did not realize were on the diet or foods which I had not prepared myself which ended up having something in it which they shouldnt have. Gratefully with adherence to the protocol, each time I got derailed, I was less and less effected by the symptoms. It takes patience. It takes time. It is SO worth it!The clinic treats each person as a whole--taking into account your entire history. I am grateful for their ability to ask questions and ability to help me better understand how to heal my body. I am grateful they accept PPO insurance.Sometimes the waiting for the medical doctors takes a while, plan on it. Bring a book or something to occupy you. When you consider the amount of time the providers spend with each client, I know that even if they are running late, they will spend the same amount of time with me. Just know that quality care takes time. Quality care also requires the patient to be an active participant. Gratefully the Center for Health and Wellbeing understands that.Ive seen Dr Corey, the chiropractor, too. He is gifted as well. He is almost always on time or within 10 minutes of a scheduled appointment. He will come out personally and let you know if he is running late. Again, worth the wait.

I moved to SD a few months ago and I was looking for a new doctor. I couldn’t be happier with CHW! The staff is soooo dang nice. From the front desk to Dr. Gray to the rest of the team. I feel well taken care of here. It’s nice to have my PCP and gyno at the same location. The office is beautiful and clean. Great location between Bankers Hill & Hillcrest.

This is my favorite place the get medical attention. Dr. Humiston doesnt just treat you symptomatically. He treats you holistically. His treatments changed my life. I feel healthier than I did in my teens and twenties. I have high levels of energy, I sleep well, and I dont feel depressed or have anxiety attacks anymore. He spends quality time working to find the best approach to helping you. Hes genuine and its obvious he cares. So if I have to wait a little longer, Im okay with that since I know he is devoting himself to another patient the same way he will me.

I dont like writing negative reviews, and I know this is lengthy, but I want to warn others about what I experienced. A friend of a friend recommended Dr. Gray. I was feeling exhausted and depressed and desperate to figure out why. Dr. Gray showed no empathy or sensitivity to my situation and only prescribed Xanax and referred me to another Dr. I was disappointed by Dr. Gray, but that was nothing compared to the total incompetence of the doctor I was referred to- Dr. Lam. I had done a saliva test for cortisol and hormones and had an appt. to go over the results. I asked the office to mail the results to me ahead of time so I could review them, they said they would but never did. I had filled out 4 pages of new patient paperwork, but when I saw Dr. Lam, she had none of it, and began reviewing the test results, and it became clear she didnt even know I was taking a prescription medication for low adrenal function. She said all she had was one sheet from Dr. Gray with a couple notes she couldnt even read. When I asked her to call in prescription refills for me for a bio-identical hormone combination, she agreed and I literally gave her the label with all the levels. The pharmacy called me when they noticed that one level had been changed from 5 mg to 50mg, a dangerous error. There were also different doses for the morning and evening, but only the morning doses had been called in. After 10 days of trying to get her to call in the correct prescriptions, the pharmacy called me and said she was not authorized to prescribe one of the ingredients! I left a message at the office and called back several hours later when I didnt hear from them. I was informed the prescription had been switched to Dr. Grays name, but they had never even called me to let me know, and I never received an apology for all the delays. Dr. Lam also wanted to take me off of a prescription medicine for adrenal insufficiency that Ive been on for over 20 years and replace it with herbs, which my new Dr. said she would never do. I will never go back to CHWB. My experience there was the opposite of their name. Ive now found an excellent Dr. at Shine Natural Medicine. They dont take insurance, unfortunately, but the staff and Dr. Noel are extremely knowledgeable and helpful, and Im feeling fantastic, so its worth every penny.

I went to a couple appointments at this center for wellbeing, was interested in IV therapy and thyroid check up.. they take insurance here which is rare and also shaddy for injectable vitamins, Im a compounder and know for a fact no insurance covers this, they found a loop hole on therapy to get this covered on your insurance. thats what I was told., Guess what, I was denied and all of a sudden im in collections, didnt even notify me. $200 for $6 worth of vitamins and IV bag....They over charge and what is frustrating is due to these places, is why health insurance is so expensive and wont cover preventive medicine. I noticed they have a addiction program, if you are a addict, beware its a help sham program, and addicts need real proven health oversight. My doctor was really nice and she is very educated, but this company pays them almost nothing and this causes a lot of rotation in personal. BEWARE if your looking for quality and consistent care from the same dr.

After putting off an appt for far too long, I had the pleasure of speaking to Yara at the front desk this morning on the phone. I had several questions and concerns and she was able to help me make the decisions necessary to go forward. I know she must be very busy at the first of the year - and during lunchtime nonetheless - but she was cheerful, knowledgeable and helped me get back on the path to wellness. THANK YOU, YARA!

Wonderful Doctors. They did have issues with their phones when they first moved into 5th Ave location, but since solving that I really have had no issues. I would and do recommend this office to friends.

Quite possibly the worst experience I’ve had a doctor’s office ever! I was scheduled to see Dr. Grey by the front desk staff after being told that the other doctors were booked up through next month and since I was leaving to go underway (with the Navy) for several weeks before then, I was hoping to be seen sooner. I even asked specifically if Dr. Gray could help me with what I needed (since I had seen Dr. Daily in the past) and was told yes. When Dr. Gray walked into the room 29 minutes after my scheduled appointment time, I wasn’t upset at all. I know they are busy and I would hope that they the same take time to attend to my needs just like they do others’. Though she apologized for making me wait, she immediately blamed it on other patients arriving late for their appointments and then “wanting to take up all of my time.” When she looked at what I had come in for, she started telling me that I would need to see this other doctor for one thing, and another doctor for a different thing. When I told her I was feeling frustrated since I took time off and paid to come see her and was just being referred out without anything happening, she got defensive and kept saying “I don’t know what you want me to do.” Being a little stressed, I became slightly tearful. Not only did she not blink an eye, ask me if I was ok, or offer me a tissue, her tone got even more HARSH! She repeatedly interrupted me, including to first deny the interruptions were happening, then explain why (if she didn’t, she said, she might forget to address one of my points). I calmly asked her to please listen to what I was saying and acknowledged that doctors in general are good people who are usually overworked and over booked. Boy, did that make her mad! She interrupted me to say they were NOT overbooked in a tone which suggested I was implying malpractice. She angrily said, “do you know how lucky you are we even take insurance? You would have to pay $400 for a visit if we didn’t!” She then criticized me for not seeing my previous physician and when I tried to explain to her the front desk had said it would be fine to see her instead, she interrupted me to tell me it didn’t matter. I should have followed up with the other doctor, calling herself “the quarterback.” The whole time, I was calm, patient, and respectful (though tearfully flabbergasted by her attitude). Her tone was condescending, harsh, and borderline rude. After only 11 minutes in the room with me, she stood up and said she didnt have time for this because she had other patients to see, even though by this time the clinic was now closed. As she was leaving the room, she irritatedly suggested I should consider “going on antidepressants” since I was obviously “depressed.” I just cannot believe a medical professional would behave in this way! I’ve seen Dr. Daily 3 or 4 times at this practice before and, though he always rushed through our appointments, he was also always kind, respectful and reasonable. I not sure if I will ever go back here, even to Dr. Daily. What a horrific experience!!

I was treated by J. Humiston for neurological damage and candidiasis as determined by muscle testing. The staff and the patients were lovely. The IV nurses were stellar. He sent me home surgically attached to an IV, which was not covered by my insurance, then refused to answer my call when I encountered a complication. He then turned his phone off. I had to call paramedics to be disconnected from the IV. I had a scheduled telephone appointment with him the next day. He failed to keep it. I requested the nurse have him schedule my surgery to which he had her inform me we did not want to do that, I wasnt finished with my treatment. I had the surgery performed by an MD not affiliated with the chwb. He contacted me after 6 days. Claimed hed forgotten his phone at home. I fired him, after which he had the IV liaison contact me and tell me he felt I would benefit from further treatment, and to put me on his schedule, but refused to speak directly with me. This behavior by an adult physician is the most bizarre medical experience Ive ever endured. He is a very strange man. Not horrible, but his mannerisms toward me were terribly confusing and distressing. I am now being treated by my GP for trauma, and have been referred to a neurologist. Everything I was being treated for by Humiston was undone and exacerbated by his neglect, mistreatment, and utter lack of conscientiousness. I had really liked him at first. I met his wife and family, and his dog. I feel badly for them, and the nurses who have to answer for his inappropriateness. How he remains in practice is disturbing to contemplate. First do no harm, indeed. Independent muscle testing indicated no candida fungal overgrowth, so, $295, plus extra NuFlora,$36 and 2x$52 Cordycepes, for hypoadrenalism, which caused acutely painful prolonged, intractable muscle spasms; 11/day, and he forgot that side effect. Lots of questionable advice. His thyroid protocol alone knocked me lamb-daffy. He hurt me. He called in a prescription for me 41 days after I fired him. I am not his patient. I have wondered if it is possible he is suffering from some degenerative mental condition. If so, physician, heal thyself.
