Just got my first vegan meals and I am truly impressed. I was hesitant because it was new to me but I am absolutely ordering four of the five options I’ve tried already... I’m having the fifth one tomorrow. (I may be back to update this review when that one makes me just as happy as the others.)Not having to make something to eat when I’m already hungry and making bad decisions is one of the best side effects of meal prepping. If you’ve never given yourself the a chance to try a prep company, try this one. The food is flavorful, healthy, and full of all the things you need to make your brain make the right decisions.

Ive been using this meal prep service for a while now...Couldnt be happier!!! Great food, wide variety and amazing staff. Would and have highly recommended to ALL of my friends and family. Ive really enjoyed my meals from Meal Prep Company. Im into my 3rd week and have yet to try a meal I didnt like. So far the menu had been different each week. The portions are filling. When I want even more I add veggies to the mix. I heat up most meals in a pan for best results.Great service and numerous delivery options. Im very happy with the service!

So much better than cooking for myself!! Im a huge fan of The Meal Prep Co and all their options! I dont have time to cook, let alone figure out a diet. Ive been getting their meals for Breakfast & Lunch, since I have more time at night and go out pretty often.They have a streamlined system to put you on a great nutrition plan and options for pick up or delivery. The nutritionists at the Meal Prep Co of San Diego were very thorough in helping me with my meal plan. I cant thank them enough. In the past couple months, I have lost 10 lbs and I have been sedentary. They set me up with a macro plan which included my meals and they explained what else I needed to do on my own. The meals are well proportioned and I never felt hungry, plus they are delicious. I am trying to lose another 10 lbs within the next 2 months and I know they will get me there. I highly recommend The Meal Prep Co. of San Diego.

This is definitely the best meal prep company in San Diego! Their menu changes weekly, you can have your meals tailored to your macros, or buy easy to go meals. I really love how customizable their services are. Also they have vegan options! These meal preps have been a life save for me while working full time and being in school. They’ve helped me maintain my weight during times I haven’t been able to work out much. Love them!!

I cannot say enough great stuff about this meal prep company. They listen to your goals, set out a plan for you and guide you to a healthier lifestyle while achieving what YOU set out to do. All that is available to you because they offer personal consultations. They’re available when I feel like I need a push in my nutrition guidance and they are always willing to help. Totally recommend starting with the nutrition counseling and talking to them about a consistent plan to start. If you already know what you need you can skip that part but it’s always there. I decided to pick and choose what meals I want on their other plans. Sometimes I even order just proteins and make my own meals with their prep. They have a paleo line, breakfast and they even just started a vegan line. I’ve really enjoyed the new options!

If you are looking for a really good meal prep company in San Diego then this is definitely the place! I’ve been ordering though The Meal Prep Company for quite some time and the food is never disappointing. Most healthy meals can be tasteless and not much to them, but the meals at this place have so much flavor which I really appreciate. The one thing I really love about this place is that they have such a variety of different kinds of meals to choose from so you never get bored of the food. They also have a vegan option which you don’t really find at a lot of other meal prep companies. The seafood ones are a must try!! Preferably the agave salmon which is my favorite. I can go on about the food forever, but the staff is the best. They are so friendly and very knowledgeable about what they do. I’ve ordered from other places and this place blows them away!

Awesome experience with The Meal Prep Co. The meals have been delicious and its different meals each week. Ive been struggling with weight and depression after having my second child. With a combination of their meals and working out 5 days a week, Ive already lost 15 pounds in a little over 4 weeks. Not having to prep my meals and just focus on my workout has helped kickstart my fitness journey. Also, great customer service. I called with a question after hours and they got back to me immediately. I highly recommend The Meal Prep co if youre looking for well priced quality meals.

The staff is extremely friendly and are so so accommodating! I was traveling a bunch, which caused me to shorten my orders and switched my pick up locations. They never skipped a beat. Food was good and when you weren’t feeling something you simply emailed them and they removed from your menu. I’ve never had such a personal experience as I’ve had with The Meal Prep Co. Highly recommend!! Stopped only due to traveling for the remainder of the year. Will think about joining again after the new year!

They really care about each client, and do a consultation with you in the beginning so that they can help you meet your goals and create the perfect plan for you! Each meal is designed for your body and its needs. They create such a variety of meals so that you don’t get tired of eating the same thing over and over. Some of my favorites include their meatloaf, sweet chili salmon, teriyaki chicken and carnitas pork. By ordering from the Meal Prep Co you are also supporting a family business that cares about their community! During Covid-19 they made masks and sent meals out to hospital workers. They are such good people, that I know are passionate about what they do! If you stick to their program you are bound to see results and enjoy lots of tasty meals. Great coaching, food, delivery/pick-up options and cost! I did this plan for 4 months and loved it! There is flexibility each week in how many meals are delivered, which is great for folks who travel for work, like me! If you truly stick to their plan, the pounds will come off. Id suggest starting with at least 2 meals per day for 5 days per week. Hope this helps! : )

Mairene and Reyna are terrible. Jimmy was great but he really needs to change how they take care of their customers. Mairene - no knowledge and unprofessional. You really need to learn how to speak to people. Jimmy was great but I wouldnt use your services for the fact that your wife is a complete a-hole.

I had a terrible experience here.Short version: We picked up our food on Sunday, our food was rotten by Tuesday. The Meal Prep Co did not stand behind their product and tried to lock us in our 4 week contract regardless. Mediocre food, the worst customer service Ive ever seen.Long version: Colleen and I shared the same terrible experience, but since the owner of this business is airing dirty laundry about me on a public forum (is that even allowed?!), here is my side of the story.I had a pleasant experience with Jimmy. I met him during a presentation he did while I was working out at Fitness Quest 10, and he was very knowledgeable during our consultation.My experiences with both Reyna and Mairene are the reasons why you should stay away from this company.Reyna contacted me on Friday after we voiced our concerns regarding our rotten meals. She was apologetic on the phone but informed me even though our meals were rotten, we were still locked in for four weeks regardless. When I insisted that we will not be continuing due to obvious reasons, Reyna threatened to take me to collections.Mairene called me 30 mins after my conversation with Reyna, and wanted to meet in person. She went to say, and I quote I f@&$en hate this part of the business (customer service?) and due to the high startup costs, they would not make any money if we quit after a week. (Not our problem?) Mairene insisted we were locked in for four weeks and she ended our conversation with, I quote, see you in court.Mairene is more concerned with maintaining a positive relationship with Fitness Quest 10 (I will talk to Todd) and getting positive reviews on social media (this was so bad that both Colleen and myself needed to write reviews), than with a paying customer who received rotten food.Mairenes brash and aggressive attempt to solve this issue ignored the simple fact that paying customers were unsatisfied. This seems to be a trend in other negative Yelp reviews.Mairene personally defamed me on a public forum, this was very unprofessional. My tone was stern and matter of fact. As a paying customer, it is my right to hold companies and services to the standards in which they were advertised.Mairene, this is directly to you. You did not tell Reyna to call it quits with you guys. Both you and Reyna insisted we were locked in for four weeks even though our food was rotten. At no point in our conversations did you tell me we were out of our contract. Although it was not my idea to just pay for the consultation fees (which you advertised as free FYI); it will satisfy us. And like I told you on the phone, should there be any further issues with my credit card companies or collection agencies, legal actions will be taken on my part.
