Had to wait almost 45 minutes to see the doctor and he never came another doctor came over and prescribed me my medication so please do not choose this doctor

Made an appointment and showed up early got my normal blood pressure and heart rate tests done. I then sat in the doctors room waiting for the doctor for exactly 1 hour and 20 mins sitting in there by myself. At that point I felt like he wasnt coming so I just got up and left. Didnt receive a call from them even noticing I left the doctors room for another 30 mins. Just didnt really feel like a priority in the slightest so not too keen on that. Im sure when he is attending to a patient its good care from the other reviews but not in my experience since I had none. They still charged me like 230 dollars or something for literally doing nothing like I didnt even meet the guy! luckily my insurance ate the bill. Also just a few side notes for anyone reading this who is considering, this stuff didnt really bother me but it might you. 2 things, there is a bunch of religious and spiritual healing stuff in the office. I didnt mind it that much but I could see how it could really weird some people out. Also they just leave the doors WIDE open when treating people. When I was there the whole time I was sitting in my room I could hear the patient next door talking about their anxiety to the doctor like clear as day. Dont you think thats personal information and should maybe have the door closed? The whole experience was off and felt a little unprofessional. Shortly after I scheduled an appointment with a different doctor and they actually met with me within the same hour I set my appointment.

I’ve been with Dr Turnage off and on since 1996. This is the first dr to really care. Whenever I was hospitalized he was always there for me & other patients. Not because he had to but because he wants to help his patients, he truly is one of a kind. He has seen my own children. That should say a lot. He has old school bed side mannerism. Going back to see him when I’m in SD. Soon.

My family has been with Dr. Turnage for 10 years. Hes treated us all from Gma to grandchildren and always with infinite patience and love. He cares VERY MUCH what happens to his patients and has a way of making you feel special. That TLC can really help when you hurt or youre sick. Once I needed Dr. Turnage to do some paperwork for me for a lawyer about a medical issue I have and later the lawyer said to me: Everyone tells me Oh, dont worry. My doctor cares about me, but YOUR doctor REALLY DOES!

Dr turnage discharged me from the hospital with prescription that was not approved by the insurance and needed a special attention from the Dr. I called the hospital the next day to speak with the case mgmt if she can send the information needed to the insurance, her answer to me was : you are not a patient anymore I can’t do anything call Dr Turang he needs to follow up with them for the approval.I called his office in the morning and he wasn’t at the clinic, the assistant said he will be at 3:00 but I will take your message and let him know. I called back @3:00 to check the status of my medicine, that assistant told me that the Dr can’t help me anymore because I’m not his patient. During the conversation with her she started to raise her voice and yell at me and hang up with me. This was very disrespectful and unprofessional unexpecteful she needs to go to school and learn how to speak with people.

Dr. Turnage is the best doctor ever. Just trust me. Im a teen that has a dad with cancer and is about to pass away. But Dr.Turnage would come in every single day to check up on my dad and thinking that my dad will have a miracle and not have cancer. Well thats wrong, but Dr.Turnage tired his best to help my dad and later on Dr.Turnage felt really sad and cried about how he tried his best to save my dad. I just love how Dr.Turnage would think a lot about my dads family and stuff. Dr.Turbage would show about buddhism and interesting stuff. And Dr.Turnage is a special doctor. My dad was so lucky to have a doctor like Dr.Turnage because when my dad needed special care, Dr.Turnage will come to the rescue. If my dad needed something, Dr.Turnage would do it. What an INCREDIBLE DOCTOR!! Some times he wouldnt be at the office and stuff cause he would visit EVERY SINGLE patient in the hospital. And one time my family thought that Dr.Turnage forgot to visit my dad. BUT NOOO, Dr.Turnage came to Sharp and visit my dad at 11:00. Just please give Dr.Turnage the respect that he gave to my family and me.

Horrible horrible. I have been waiting 40 minutes as the first appointment of the day and he isnt even in the office yet. This doctor DOES NOT CARE about his patients. He thinks he doesnt have to because Tricare makes people come to him and I guess military family is not important either. Do NOT choose this guy.
