I have been seeing Dr. Steinhauser for over 6 years. She and her staff have always provided excellent care. They listen to me and my concerns. They show real interest in me and explain everything clearly. If I have to send a quick message through the Follow My Health app, they respond quickly. Very happy with my care.

I had a video conference with the doctor this morning to go over test results for a medical clearance for an upcoming operation. She was very thorough and clear and made sure that any questions or concerns I had were answered. I was seen very close to my appointment time.

My appointment was done by phone with Dr. Steinhauser and was very pleased with the service she provided. I would highly recommend her to anyone looking for a primary care doctor.

Dr. Steinhauser is warm, kind, listens to me, and looks at me when were talking. She makes sure shes answered my questions. She takes her time and doesnt make me feel like shes in a rush.

I found myself on a new insurance plan early into the pandemic and needed to choose a new doctor, I chose Dr. Steinhauser based on her profile and specialty , hoping to have one doctor for the whole family. Even though I have only met her twice in person, she took to the transition of primarily telehealth visits more easily than other providers I have. Making inquiries about my health easy, and efficient. Her and her staff are always quick to respond, and when I needed a virtual appointment I’ve been able to get one within days. She is a good listener and makes my concerns feel valid. She is the first doctor I’ve had that has made handling my health feel effortless and worthwhile having seen results from all of her recommendations. We will be moving to another state and will, unfortunately, no longer be able to have Dr. Steinhauser as our Doctor, but if we make our way back to the area in the future I will be seeking her out again. Absolutely one of the best doctors I have encountered at sharp!!

Shes a nice person and all, but after 3 occasions where I needed assistance I was self-diagnosing myself correctly and not getting the answers I needed. Everything I was concerned about was a laid-back response feeling like I shouldnt worry about it. I need a doctor to take my concerns seriously.

Proactively reaches out to me to schedule tests. Very friendly, empathetic, and genuinely caring.

Always kind and informative. I had a bad experience at Grossmont ER where they misdiagnosed me which also led me to be in days of pain until seeing her. She made me feel like she was truly on my side and supporting me. She is the first doctor I chose to be my primary since coming of age and having to deal with doctors myself (becoming an adult is hard 😂) but she made it very easy and pleasant.She shares my concerns and doesn’t make me feel like I am crazy or stupid. She is very easy to talk to and very open.

Dr Steinhauser was very helpful and super informative. She looked at not only charts from my recent visit to another doctor, but charts from a few years back to get a better understanding of my ailments. Dr Steinhauser gave me options and listened the pros and cons. Was not rushed or condescending at all; respectful and knowledgeable.

I’ve had such a positive experience with her as my PCP. Any referrals I need for specialist as well she’s willing to do (and I’ve had a lot!). She really listens to any concerns you have and takes her time in consultation. Highly recommend this doctor.

Not very warm or kind, and that is fine. I get it, sometimes youre just not having a good day. But she was very dismissive of my concerns or questions, which my concerns ended up being spot on and leading to me having half of my thyroid removed. I had to see her 2-3 times before she finally gave me a referral to an endocrinologist and ENT.Would not recommend.

I felt Dr Steinhauser was fine for basic checkups however when you are really feeling unwell her attitude towards concerns and options were lofty and dismissive.

I am so happy that I found this doctor, she isnt my primary physician but I might make her soon, thats how impressed I am. I can become a little paranoid when it comes to interpreting my exams, so I have been using the follow my health up and she is the only one that takes her time to answer and doesnt delegate to an assistant. That by itself makes a big difference! She seems truly worried about preventing new illnesses that can derive from some medication that I am taking. In my case I have low testosterone and am taking Androgel, she is the only one that told me I should have a PSA test every 4 months! I love preventive medicine, and she sure delivers me that.
