Dr. Schmidt is extremely thorough and truly cares about each of her patients. She also goes out of her way to ensure comprehensive care outside of gynecology for overall well-being. I’ve had nothing but wonderful experiences and am thankful I found her.

The encounter I had today with Dr. Schmidt was absolutely incredible! She was in no rush, very personable, and even talked with me and encouraged me to keep going in my medical career. I have never had an experience with a physician like I did today with her. Thank you, Dr. Schmidt for your work and your encouragement. You are amazing!

I wish I had 10 stars to give Dr Lila Schmidt and her staff!! They were incredible every step of the way! They were thorough, never too busy to answer a question and stayed diligent with my health and the health of my developing baby. I felt so cared for! Front desk staff, nurses and Dr. Schmidt were all so wonderful that I cried a bit when it was time for me to move on. Next Doctor I see has big shoes to fill!

Best Doctor Ever! I have been seeing Dr. Schmidt since September of 2018, she was recommended by my primary care doctor. During my initial consultation she answered all my questions, addressed all concerns and was very through; she made me feel at ease with this pregnancy. Her team Kristina and Laura are amazing. They return all calls and keep me informed of all the exam/blood work results, explaining everything in detail. They confirm all my appointment which I really, really appreciate due to my crazy work schedule. Every time I walk into the office, I am greeted very warmly by Laura and treated with care by Dr. Schmidt and Kristina; very professional.Recently I had a small emergency and called after hours to Dr. Schmidt emergency line, she answered immediately. To say the least, I was immediately relieved, she listened to my concern gave me instructions; as well as, words of comfort that reassured me. Next day I had a walk-in appointment without any problems. This is THE BEST MEDICAL practice. Dr. Schmidt always has a good sense of humor and makes me laugh every time I see her. Thank you DOCTOR for all your great care!!!

I had a 5 star experience with Dr. Schmidt she was very thorough, detailed and didnt beat around the bush.. Ive been to plenty of doctors and know what Im looking for and she is definitely one of the best.. She figured out my diagnosis on my first visit. The office atmosphere is small and quaint. I highly refer her for your womanly health care needs.

Dr Schmidt is the most outstanding Dr and diagnostician. She is super thorough in her examination and takes the time to answer any questions or concerns that you may have.Her wonderful staff and endearing office setting make you feel super welcome and comfortable.Dr Schmidt truly loves her profession. Ive been a patient of Dr. Schmidts for a couple of years now and shes AMAZING! Shes caring, highly professional and takes as much time as needed to get a COMPLETE picture of your health, as well as answering any questions you may have. Not surprisingly, her staff is wonderful and they are a great reflection of the quality of care you will receive from Dr. Lila.I have highly recommended Dr. Schmidt to both friends and family, and I plan to have her as my GYN for many years to come.

While I havent actually gotten pregnant yet (its still early on in my journey as a patient), my experience with Dr. Schmidt and her entire staff has already been incredible. I switched from another REs office. Not a bad doctor, I just didnt like their approach to cycling. Its really important that youre your own advocate when looking for fertility specialists. If something doesnt feel like a good fit, either speak up or find someone else. I found Dr. Schmidt through a friend of a friend of a friend. First off, how many doctors can you say will spend an HOUR with you in the room?! In my experience, not many. The reason she is able to, is because she doesnt stack patients. Her style might not be for everyone, especially if you havent taken the time to edify yourself about your cycle, the reproductive system, and available options. To me, shes the warmest, kindest, most attentive fertility doctor Ive been to. Not to mention her staff is incredible. Christina (her nurse) is an absolute joy, and the front desk woman (I am rudely forgetting her name right now), is so helpful with booking appointments and making time for you. Highly recommend this clinic!

I definitely recommend! It was my first time visiting the OB, and the smaller setting made me feel extremely comfortable. Dr. Schmidt was fantastic, she was straightforward and real with me and didnt sugarcoat, which I loved. She continued to ask me if I had any questions throughout my appointment and made sure I fully understood what she was saying. I will be returning! Very happy :-)

I honestly have no idea why she doesnt have more stars, shes AMAZING! Always so helpful and thorough and just fantastic. I have absolutely no complaints. I love everything about her office, from the nice scent when you first walk in, to the complimentary treats she has in her nice little waiting room. It feels very relaxing and makes you feel like home.

I highly recommend Dr. Schmidt. I have been seeing her for two years now and I would have to say she is an exceptional doctor who really listens to her patients and takes care of them with great attention. Her entire staff are friendly and make you feel very comfortable there. If you are looking for a good OBGYN that takes pride in their work and patient care she is the one. She is professional, informative and never rushes your appointment. She is very thorough and makes a point to spend time with you discussing your questions reviewing your history and just making sure you are doing well. I will continue to see Dr. Schmidt and recommend her in the future.

I just recently moved from San Diego, and I figured I would need to make an appointment before the chaos of the holidays. Yesterday I called two gynecologists: one couldnt make an appointment for me until mid-January (two months), and Dr. Schmidts office was able to see me today! We made an 8:00am appointment, and I was able to print the paperwork at home to bring for the morning.In the past, and especially New York, Ive had to wait for at least an hour before being seen by the doctor. Here I was greeted right away--friendly staff--and they finalized my paperwork within minutes. Her office was small, but I prefer intimate settings anyway. I met Lila Schmidt; she got to know me within seconds and was very friendly. My appointment went fast, but she was extremely kind through the whole of it. She explained what every test was and asked me which tests I would like (apart from the normal pap and cancer exams).I cant speak for all women, but being able to book an appointment within days is a nice plus. Having the entire visit last 45 minutes is amazing. And having the doctor be kind and funny is quite the blessing. I would definitely recommend her to my friends and family.I cant speak to infertility, but I might suggest making an early appointment if youre going in for this. Any doctor is going to be swamped around noon on weekdays and all day weekends; its probably crazy around November/December/Holidays. This way, you might not feel overwhelmed/rushed in the smaller office.

Dr. Schmidt is an incredible doctor- truly extremely caring and concerned for her patients. I am so thankful I found her and this great office. Christina is also so kind and great to see on your visits! Thank you for all that you do Dr. Schmidt!

Women seeking help during hard times, BEWARE!!! I wasnt able to even get to the appointment. I clearly stated to Laura (woman who answers the phone and make appointments) when I called to set up the appointment that my insurance doesnt cover infertility. I have had 5 miscarriages all at different times in the pregnancy (so there isnt just one thing going on with me). I also told Laura that I am not there to get pregnant (I have given up at this point) but I need to establish care with someone and thought a doctor who deals in fertility would be the right choice. I get a call back days later from Laura to tell me that my insurance doenst cover infertility. When I attempt to explain this to Laura she tells me that infertility isnt so cut a dry. So, because I have had reproductive health issues and my insurance doesnt cover infertility I am unable to get care. Oh, I was so so wrong. Just dont call and deal with this office.

Every single time I call in and ask for my birth control refill, the secretary always acts confused and is rude. I’ve already talked to Dr. Schmidt about wanting a specific birth control brand and she let me know that it wasn’t an issue. But, every 3 months I call in for a refill the secretary always wants to persuade me into getting the off-brand because that way she doesn’t have to order it herself. I’ve been told multiple times: “Why don’t you just go to cvs and use there generic?” In an agressive tone. I think it’s ridiculous that I have to keep explaining to the secretary that it gives me bad side effects, and that the Dr herself prescribed me this specific one!Please save yourself the headache and find another physician, sadly the Dr. herself is great but her staff is insanely rude and not helpful at all.

While Dr. Schmidt is very kind, easy to talk to, and does a wonderful job as a practitioner, I have serious issue with the manner in which this office handles your situation. They terrified me into getting services that I did not need (I realized this upon consultation with two other doctors) and that I subsequently paid enormous fees for. Additionally, they indicated that I was to pay a certain amount for a particular service and I later got an additional bill that was never explained to me from an associated office. It is unsettling to know that when you ask your healthcare provider for a clear breakdown of what you will be paying for your health, they dont tell you the truth (at worst) or are so negligent they do not give you the entire answer (at best). Disappointed.

I love Dr. Schmidt, Ive been going to her for about 2 years now? Maybe more, the new facility is awesome, staff is amazing as well. Shes very knowledgeable, and just an amazing obgyn.

Dr. Schmidt is a MIRACLE doctor! Especially if you are suffering from PCOS, MtHFr, or any other hormonal problem. When I experienced a hemorrhage at 6 weeks, Dr. Schmidt, dropped what she was doing and came rushing in to examine me and fight to keep my pregnancy viable, even when the ER docs told me I had no hope. well, Dr. Schmidt proved them very wrong! Truly truly a miracle worker!

I LOVE DR Lila! :) and Her Staff too! Last year unfortunately my prev. gyno had a medical emergency and I had to rush to find new help for my Endo/Pelvic pain. Laura was able to get me into to see Dr Lila with-in 24 hours, work w/ me as an out-of-pocket patient and even help me w/ my labs so that they were covered by reg insurance. I WILL GLADLY PAY OUT OF POCKET FOR THE SMILES,HUGS AND FRIENDLY SERVICE - and for a Doctor who actually Listens to Me! THANK you for being so terrific!

Very very terrible service. This doctor was very rude. Never have I ever had a problem anywhere else with obgyn but this specific one shouldnt be referred to anyone. She did procedures to me that didnt need to be done. Im so happy Im going to a different doctor, if I were you Id save myself from a horrible doctor who definaly just cares about the money. I had told her it was time for me to find a new doctor and she said thats a great idea. What kind of doctor would say such a thing? With attitude like that I definitely didnt want her as my primary obgyn. In just one hour, I found a better one, and super happy to be seen.

I was a new patient of Lila Schmidt, MD. I came to her office in March for an OBGYN checkup. I was told by her office staff that my insurance would not cover my visit with them, so I was about to leave because I was planning on getting new insurance soon anyway. The office staff persuaded me to stay and proceeded to tell me that it would be beneficial for me to stay and pay up front because there was no guarantee an insurance would cover an OBGYN visit and I would need to pay extra fees for new insurance anyway. I was skeptical because I dont make a lot of money but they insisted and said I would only need to pay $150 up front.I finally said ok because they guaranteed me that $150 was what I only needed to pay. I was given all this reading material on Dr. Schmidt and her career and told that if I did not read her biography, I would not be allowed an appointment. (What???)When my appointment finally came, it took FOREVER for the doctor to see me. She was busy outside the room and I was forced to wait and when she finally came in for our appointment, she spent a total of 5 minutes just making small talk and then when it came down to business she only looked downstairs for a quick 5 seconds before telling me everything looks fine and I was done. Are you kidding me? She didnt do anything!! No checking for polyps or anything that I normally experience at my previous gynecologist visits!I wrote the doctor a check for $150 and that was that. I left the office and decided to leave that experience behind me. I just went to PP for a proper consultation later.Now, many months later, just this past week I received a bill in the mail from Pathology, INC for $190.60!!! What is this!? I received a bill for test results that I had no clue about! I never saw the doctor take any sample, nor did I notice any sample being taken from me!! I was told I would only have to pay for that one visit and to top it all off, Ive never seen these test results! Why am I being charged for test results that I have never seen?!I called and called Dr. Schmidts office to get an answer, but have been ignored each time. I left a message on Friday and got no call, then had to wait until Monday for a receptionist to call me back and I was so upset as I told her the whole story! Im being trapped here! I dont make enough money to afford this and why am I being billed so many months later?! This is a scam!!! The receptionist took my message and promised that the doctor would return my call, which she didnt!!I called again the next day and left another message, which was again returned by another receptionist. I had to re-tell the entire story again because the previous receptionist never passed along the message!! I couldnt believe it! I demanded to speak with the doctor and they refused! They said they can take a message and the doctor MIGHT call me back but they didnt know if she would or when she would. I demanded to make an appointment to speak with her but they refused to make any time for the doctor to speak with me unless if I was willing to pay another $150 for a consultation. What?! Theyre trying to make me pay $150 to dispute this bill!!Lila Schmidt refuses to discuss this matter or even talk to me without shelling out more money and I dont know what to do! I cant afford this bill and I was never told about this in the first place! I was promised I would only pay one amount and this is HORRIBLE!!Whatever you do please do not ever see this doctor! She and her office staff will lie through their teeth to make a quick buck! This entire office is not professional what-so-ever and this whole experience has made me never want to trust another doctor AGAIN!!
