Without hesitation I OKd the work which was done quickly, it took a day or so because parts needed to be ordered. The price was really reasonable considering what all needed to be done, and no stone was left un-turned. The car ran (runs) beautifully and I am so pleased to have a steady shop to perform all the work on my little car.

Absolutely amazing!! My 30 year old blazer runs like a brand new vehicle.I failed smog on my carbureted V8 and finding a repair shop that knows how to work on them in San Diego was a headache in itself. I stumbled upon this place as a last resort. I’m glad I did. It took them about a month to figure out my smog problem which makes sense because carburetors are hard. For the amount of work they put in and the amount of problems they ran into, around $1000 to fix it was a great price point.Between Andy (with his gorgeous eyelashes) and Ismael, I know exactly where to take my truck when it has problems.

We came by General Auto Repair on a drive to LA when we heard a weird noise from underneath the car. We stopped by since it was the closest spot and received immediate service. Daniel gave us knowledgeable, helpful, and quick service. Thanks guys!

Ishmael, the owner of this place, comes off as a nice guy but its all a front to scam you out of your money. I came here to fix my transmission and he ended up fixing all these other things that I didnt come in for. In the end I spent $700 and am still having the same issue I came in for. Please save yourself the time and money and stay away from this place.

I went there for an alignment for the fist time(from the Reader advertisement) . And they found my car has to be fixed here and there and they showed me where were wrong and how soon I have to fix it.I went there 2 days later. To fix the water & oil leaking, It took 6 hours more than I was told. But they seemed to have done a good job and they gave me a very reasonable price, even discount because today is Black Friday?I feel the owner Danny is the honest man.

They were incredibly helpful, took the time to show me exactly what the issues were with my car and pointed out potential issues for the future without pressuring me to get them fixed right then and there. Will definitely be returning in the future.

Awesome friendly service, very knowledgeable, was asked upfront for my vin # so they would have the parts when I took my vehicle in for service cutting the waiting time. Have not had any issues . will be back in the future.

I had a good experience today. I brought my car in to get the brakes and rotor changed and Danny and the crew got it done within a couple of hours the same day. I paid about $600 (which included an oil changed) which I believe is pretty standard since I had the front and back replaced. I would definitely recommend this place and will be going back again for any future problems.

Do NOT take your care here! We paid $$$ to have an engine replaced because they said that our timing belt needing re-done and because it would be cheaper to pull up the engine might as well replace it. A year later the timing belt needed to be replaced AGAIN. We took it somewhere else-and guess what-6 months later? The replaced engine has frozen. Do not trust these people!

Dont reccomend stay away

Took my car in for some brake job. They told me it was a 5 hour job took them 10 hours to finish. After I left the car started shaking now, took it back and they blamed me he was super rude never taking it there.

UNPROFESSIONAL!! i called the day before to schedule a alignment. i show up the next day and call the front office as soon as i pulled up to the shop, i call the front desk to ask where i can park. i tell the person over the phone i was there for an alignment and the guy over the phone says oh! i told you to come?...im swamped can you come later VERY unprofessional as if i dont have anything else to do, it seems like they do not have any type of scheduling system there...i took off time at work and now i cant get that time back. plus their alignment coupon makes no sense.. $49.99 coupon but adjusting camber and caster is extra...what?? thats what alignment is part of...so its just a scheme to get people in...i will never do business with them and of course recommend them to anyone.

I made a hole in my oil pan, they find a new one, they went pick it up because it was too late for delivery, all this in two hours.
