Hands down the best shop in San Diego, and probably California. They have been my shop for the past 4 years and I have always had impeccable service. Besides being quick and accommodating, they are knowledgeable, communicable and thorough.What I like most about them is their integrity- they let me know what service is needed, what can wait, and have never tried to upsell me. On the contrary, they have talked me out of service that I thought needed to be done but did not. This is rare in any business, especially in the automotive industry. Incredibly kind and considerate here, happy to explain things and show you on the car what problems they come across. The only complaint I have is that I had to explain 4 times what needed to be done on the trim even though the system had the part on order and it had been understood before. The quality of the work is good and they havent tried giving me any services that my car did not actually require like many other businesses do.

Been using this place for years, along with my brother and sister since we all own BMWs. Owners are great and never had an issue, until leprechaun Steve started working there recently. Quoted me a specific price for labor, I purchased the part independently, but then he ended up charging $60 more labor than the original quote. When I asked him, he stated he never quoted that price, and that I was lying. I get that maybe he forgot, but calling a customer a lier is very disappointing. Truth is the business is expanding, which is great for them since the owners are good people, but service will certainly suffer with workers like Steve. It’s a shame, but this guy has no business working for B&B, and won’t be going back as long as he works there.

I’ve been taking my 328i to B&B for a while now. It has allowed me to keep a premium vehicle without paying a premium maintenance price.Steve, Philip and all the guys there are great.One day I came in and Philip explained to me that when they replaced the serpentine belt that they had accidentally broken something. (It’s not hard to imagine, everything is so close together with little to no room to work). Philip apologized and took full responsibility. He informed me that the additional repairs were made at no charge.I could see someone else calling me mid-repair and saying,”hey, this other thing is broken, as long as I’ve got the vehicle taken apart I can take care of it for you. It’ll be $$$$ more.”The staff at B&B has integrity. Efficient, reliable, honest and affordable. Highly recommended.

Ive relied on B&B Autohaus for repair and maintenance of my BMWs for many years. B&B provides the level of expertise equal to the BMW dealership at a significant cost savings. I appreciate the personalized service Ive come to expect and I value the honest, straight forward advice I can rely on. Most recently, I had a damaged rear taillight replaced on my 2018 330i. You cant believe how expensive the part is! Steve explained that B&B has very little wiggle room in the price of BMW parts, but when I picked up my vehicle, I was pleasantly surprised to note that I was not charged any labor for the installation of the part. The dealership quoted almost $200 more than I paid at B&B. Thanks guys .. I appreciate it!!

WE own a 2011 BMW and used to go to the dealer to get service. When it became obvious that the dealer was overpriced and looking for ways to charge us more, we found B and B. They do great work, keep our car running smoothly and price is always fair. Easy to make an appointment, very good customer service (the staff at dealer often not very friendly). B and B is honest and very truthful about what needs to be done soon, what can wait. We have had them do little jobs and big jobs and they are always very enthusiastic about doing it right and making us happy. I really appreciate them and will use them for all my BMW repairs.

Brought to them my 2014 X1 for an oil change. The facility waiting is clean, professional, and comfortable. They were able to complete the oil change while I waited and also were able to diagnose an issue I had been having with the windshield nozzles. They were able to complete the repair for a fraction of the cost quoted from the dealership. I will use them from this point forward for both my BMW autos.

My car suddenly went into limp mode, shaking and stuttering then died at a stop light. Visited for the first time in June. Had B&B look over my 2004 BMW convertible - trying to decide whether to keep or sell. Philip was great and really spent time looking over the car and gave me great advice. We have another newer BMW and will definitely use B&B again. They were very professional and thorough.

B&B always come through for me. I have twice brought them a confounding issue on my 2011 E93, and both times they hunted down the issue and made the appropriate repairs for a very fair price. They also replaced my starter and saved me a ton by not having to go to BMW of San Diego. I have found both Philip and Daniel to be very knowledgeable and honest. If your BMW is out of warranty and its in need of repairs, you would have to be crazy to not give these guys a shot!

I drive up from Chula Vista to get my BMW serviced at B & B because they provide excellent service at a fraction of dealer prices. Scheduling an appointment is easy, the work is done quickly, and I dont get the feeling that they are trying to empty my wallet with unnecessary repairs.

The person behind the counter was friendly. polite, professional, and all around good person. The work was done fast and first time quality. Had head light fix and return two day later because it stop working again. B and B fixed it for free. They were able to get me in right away when I blew a radiator hose. These guys are currently the best BMW shop in San Diego. They are honest, flexible and accommodating. Highly recommended. For example: I recently had an issue where the headlight module for my 2008 335i was broken. They allowed me to order a non-OEM part myself and were happy to install it.

I just needed an oil change which was done. just fine I subsequently got a call asking if I wanted the fog light repaired. The repair was done at a very reasonable cost. A previous estimate by the body shop was much higher. I was disappointed; however, that the fog light warning light still appears at startup. Is it difficult or expensive to fix this? If not let me know and we can get it done.Bob

Ive bringing my car here for a good while now and theyve always been straight up about everything. This time was no different. Had an oil leak but also had a check engine light fo another issue. They accommodated with no fuss and got it done. Have always recommended the next maintenance but never pressured me. Phil and the crew are stand up guys and you have to appreciate that about your mechanics.

And ever since they’ve kept my car tight and running right.Shortly after my 528i’s warranty expired, the dealership experience very rapidly went south. A ridiculous quote at BMW dealership for starter replacement, that was 3 times the price compared to B&B’s, got us to make the shift. Best of all, I give high credit to B&B’s superior workmanship which proved far better than dealer’s repair-service. Trunks wiring that was repaired at dealership (when I couldn’t open the trunk with neither key-fob nor dash’s button) failed after few months of repair, while same repair at B&B was 5x less and the problem has since been fixed. For sure, this makes it very clear why they get so many 5-star reviews.BMW repairs and upkeep expense can add up quite a lot over time, so might as well get your money’s worth from a team that is truly a rare find. I once got a warm approval at my son’s dentist office when I said, “Finding a good mechanic or a good dentist is like rolling the dice!” It’s hardest to find a good reliable 1) dentist and 2) a garage-mechanic who’s honest, skilled, professional and most importantly who’ll not overcharge you, or sell a repair that you don’t need. Something that is almost impossible to find when looking for auto-mechanics.Glad we found the last honest mechanic-shop on the planet! Also, their shop is immaculate! Always a good sign.

These folks are really nice and honest. I have never felt they are trying to push more services than I absolutely need. Prices are very reasonable. Peter and Daniel are super competent and attentive. These guys are the reason I refuse to get rid of my old bimmer!
