Best Dentist in San Diego period!!! Very caring and compassionate about taking care of you. From a regular check up, deep cleaning, to extraction and etc. I feel very comfortable getting my dentist work here that I have now recommended all my family and friends. Love all his assistant. Very knowledgeable and understanding. So glad I found Dr. Nguyen.

GO TO DR. NGUYEN AND I PROMISE YOU WILL NEVER GO TO ANOTHER DENTIST EVER AGAIN!! I never write reviews, but Dr. Nguyen and his staff are absolutely fantastic!! His work is top of the line at a fraction of the cost of other dentists. I had a root canal today and it was literally painless during the process and after it was complete. He has a heart of gold and shows genuine care and concern for his patients. I have been hard pressed to get some dental work completed before my insurance changes and he has made it a priority to make sure I get it all taken care of in a timely manner. I overheard him talking to one of his staff members about scheduling my next appointment, and although the schedule was completely booked for that day, he told her to put me on the schedule and he would skip his lunch break to get me in. They treat you like family here and I all the respect in the world for Dr. Nguyen and his staff.

Thank you for all your help. Dr. Nguyen is great with kids. He took the time to work with my daughters. The Best part of it all was that he answered all our questions and concerns. Dr. Nguyen isn’t about just getting in as many patients in as he can. He cares for each and everyone of his patients and when he is done he even took the time to come out and check on my daughter after her extraction to see if she is feeling better. Dr. Nguyen and staff are very professional, caring, and skilled at what they do. I am in my last term pregnany, and due to having 2 cracked teeth and an infection it was required for me to remove them for the sake of mine and my babies health. Dr. Nguyen made the procedure painless, and communicated with me from the beginning to the end. He is very skilled at what he does I can see why he receives high reviews on google and yelp. He cares about your best interest financially, and medically. I am definitely going to have my children and husband come here. He has a small but experienced staff and its great to know familiar faces when you enter his office. I appreciate all your hard work and for everything!

If youre an SDSU student like me and youre looking for a dentist, look no further. I had a massive cavity that was giving me headaches when I first called Premier Dental looking for a dentist. I was able to make an appointment that same day to get a root canal to fix it. I was afraid at first, but Dr. Nguyen and his staff are highly skilled and extremely helpful so the process was quick and painless. They are also friendly and empathetic as well. The staff always do their best to help me find the best time for my appointments and notify me if issues arise. Dr. Nguyen is also happy to address any questions or concerns with procedures. At the time, I was out of work and I was cutting corners on food and other things save money. The last thing I needed financially was getting a root canal procedure that would have cost me over half a grand with insurance. Thankfully, I was able to get a student discount that helped significantly and I didnt even ask for one. He looks after his patients folks. Thats a good dentist.

Let me start by saying I am not new to ANY dentistry(first visit being at age 7,Im 32 now). But no dentistry has shown me the professionalism and compassion that Dr.Nguyens team has shown. Every one in the office seems to carry this professionalism. I knew I was in the right place when the dentist thanked me for coming in on time for my appointment. I should be thanking him for respecting my time and not stacking appointments at the same time as mine; as some dental offices do.Work: I have no clue what/why/how this is possible but Dr.Nguyen has mastered the art of novacaine injection. Injections are supposed to hurt,right? Well thats what I thought too, until I went to Premier Dental for my first visit. Ive gotten 2 injections so far and both were painless....If only I had known about this guy sooner, I wouldnt be so traumatized going to the dentist. That alone is grounds for kid friendly.Environment:clean and calming rooms with a beachy vibe.Overall I want to thank the staff for what they do. They love what they do and theyre good at it.

Six months ago I saw Dr. Nguyen to get a painful upper right wisdom tooth removed. The procedure was fast and painless. Dr. Nguyen and his assistant did everything they could to ensure my comfort, such as providing eye protection for the overhead light, keeping my mouth properly drained, and just asking if I was okay.Today I came in again for some fillings and a routine cleaning. Again everything went smoothly. He showed me before and after images of the filling and explained how taking care of the cavity early will prevent a more painful root canal procedure later.The office, equipment, and bathroom are all extremely clean. The front desk and staff are very friendly and helpful as well.

Dr. Nguyen is a great dentist and stand up guy! He is very personable and takes the time to listen to his patients. He is always looking out for the best interest of his patients and understands where his patients are coming from. Takes the time to make sure everything is done perfectly even if it means staying past business hours. Great staff as well!

Dr. Jonathan Nguyen,I am sorry I did not get a chance to write a review earlier. I have been coming to this place for quite some time now. I felt that Dr. Nguyen should get some recognition especially since he would go out of his way for his patient. Thank you for coming to my aide when I most needed you. Dr. Nguyen is friendly to kids as well. I hate taking my kids to the dentist but Dr. Nguyen has made that experience a lot less dreading. Thank you again for all that you do.

Dr Nguyen has been my dentist for 15 years now. You wont find a more thorough and caring dentist out there. I have introduce many friends and family members to his office and they have all shared the same experience. Five stars!!

First met Dr. Nguyen and staff due to an emergency to my front tooth. They were able to see me the same day. Took out my tooth, bone graft, and made me a temporary crown fixing to a neighboring tooth. Now awaiting for an implant. Thank you for saving my smile, would not know what to do. Let me first say that although Dr. Nguyen was out of my insurance network and I am in no position to take on dental bills, I took my daughter and myself to him anyways purely based on Google and Yelp reviews. I believe the office operates a few days out of the week and select Saturdays. I had an soul shaking type of toothache that I wouldn’t wish on my worst enemy and he was able to see me the same day. I also was on a two hour timer since I had month old baby at the time. I needed a root canal and he knocked out a couple other filings in just enough time to get home and feed my baby (I drove up from Otay Mesa).I especially like Dr. Nguyen for a few reasons. I didn’t feel he was money hungry. He tried to save me from getting a root canal and then because I had double insurance, he let me know that he would bill in a way that would save me. Another thing that stood out was feeling no pain when he numbed my gums. I hate needles and I seriously didn’t feel a thing! The last thing I really liked was that he offered me a solution to a problem I didn’t even speak to him about. I have this yellow front tooth and it’s so embarrassing. To have straight teeth, never had braces, and one yellow tooth because of a past procedure done by Navy dental... it sucks. I’ve always wanted to get it fixed, but every dentist before Dr. Nguyen only suggest veneers. Of course veneers cost more and then dentists will only do them in pairs, meaning two teeth versus just the one that I need fixed.Staff - Super sweet and very professional. They answered all of my questions and made sure we were comfortable.Facility - This isn’t a fancy dentist office and the parking lot is tight, but it’s clean and that’s all that matters.Kid Friendly - My 5 year old daughter went in and talked up a storm. I almost felt bad for the dental assistant, but she is a mom herself and totally entertained my munchkin. My daughter had a loose tooth pulled and of course she cried, but Dr. Nguyen numbed her effortlessly and all she really felt was pressure. My baby girl cries if she sees a fly so it’s expected. Anyways, he was quick and had her smiling again in no time by giving her a little treasure chest to place her tooth in for the tooth fairy.I will be sticking with Dr. Nguyen as long as I am in San Diego.

Most people hate the dentist, and I am one of them. However this office has changed my mind. The staff is very helpful and willing to accommodate to any thing I need to make it a comfortable experience. I will continue to use them in the future and don’t resent going to the dentist anymore.

Ive been seeing Dr. Jonathan 5 years . This is one of the few places I feel comfortable referring family and friends to, since I can be absolutely sure that they will be completely satisfied with their experience.Dr. Jonathan took his time to get my teeth just right and explained everything.

Dr. Nquyen is so genuine and friendly. He doesn’t discriminate even if you have denti-cal. He suggested a few crowns, but unfortunately denti-cal doesn’t cover those! I could only afford one and it was pretty quick and painless! He always checks to see if you’re good and is very gentle. I appreciated that he didn’t pressure me into getting the other crowns right away and understood that it was not in my budget. The ladies helping were very sweet and nice as well. When I can get the other crowns, I will definitely be coming back to Premier Dental! Thanks for taking such good care of my teeth. Oh and there is basically no wait whenever I come in 🙌🙌😊
