NO! NO! NO!Bernardo Heights Dental Group is the perfect example of a deceptive business model. The office is overpriced, oversells and overcharges some of its patients. I am one of those people.Dont waste your hard earned money, time or Dental benefits in this office. They lack integrity, communicative skills and ability to to the truth.Read like reviews. The dentist is good, however if you value your time and money dont go there. He works and couple of people at the same time, so it can take a while (it took me 5 hours to do 2 crowns). Also based on Delta Dental Insurance, he is charging more than recommended by Insurance and adds codes to the bill which are NOT approved by insurance. Be very careful with that one!!!

By far the best dentist office in north county San Diego. Dr. Kamran and his staff are knowledgeable, professional, and gentle on my teeth. I definitely would recommend them to others.

This is a great dental practice - knowledgeable and friendly what more could you want?!The staff are very friendly and personable. They made sure all my questions were answered and that I was informed of everything that was happening. The new patient registration process was straight forward yet thorough. I felt like the office had the latest dental technology and all the staff were up on the latest and greatest in dental care. The hygienists and dental assistants were all very sweet and knowledgeable.Dr. Kamran is fantastic - you can tell he really knows his stuff and is also very sweet and friendly. Definitely going back and will tell my friends and family!

My husband, who is deathly afraid of dentists, saw Dr. Kamran today for a much-needed crown, and and is totally over the moon with the care he received. He thought the entire staff was wonderful, and they are! I have been going there for two years, plus and I have only had positive experiences. Our insurance is through a Medicare HMO and I have never been as happy with a dentist as I am with Bernardo Heights Dental and Dr. Kamran. This kind of care is impossible to find with a Medicare HMO - at least I used to think so. Now I have to get my son to see him. Thank you to everyone in this practice.

Dr. Kam was recommended to me by mutual friends when I moved to San Diego, and he has been awesome!When I walked into the office, I was greeted immediately by the staff who were all super friendly and welcoming. Since this was my first time to the office, I had to fill out some initial intake forms, and the receptionists were extremely helpful and made the process super easy and quick. I had a few X-rays done, followed by a cleaning. I also got teeth whitening molds made. My appointment started right on time, and I didnt find myself waiting around in my chair like I have in previous dentists offices. Normally, I REALLY dont like going to the dentists, but overall, the friendly and helpful staff and doctor made this a pleasant visit! Would definitely recommend this office to friends!

10/10 recommend this dental office. Dr. Kamran is extremely efficient with his work and is always on top of everything 150% of the time. Each hygienist is extremely sweet and cares about your comfort and teeth more than anything else. Each dentist takes there time and end each visit always coming out with better results.

My Dentist just recently retired so I needed to find a new dentist. I was referred to Dr. Kamran by a friend. I am glad I listened to him. Dr. Kamran and his team did an awesome job from start to finish. I highly recommend these guys to anybody.

I actually didnt get my cleaning, I had to reschedule due to a time constraint. But Im definitely looking forward to it! My experience with everyone was awesome. Super friendly, attentive and caring staff who are willing to explain and help you understand everything you need to before proceeding. Awesome experience for anyone who might be a bit nervous about going to the dentist.

Dr. Kamran came highly recommended through a few friends.I loved walking into an office filled with laughter -super friendly/fun staff! This was my first visit so they had me fill out a few forms, take an x-ray, exam, and cleaning. There was zero lag time (which Ive encountered in previous dental offices) which is amazing because I was in and out in a jiffy. Dr. Kamran is professional and personable as well!Overall I had a great experience and I will definitely come back for my future dental needs!

Got work done a number of times. Under new management and they are shady. I just got today a bill for 25.00. Dont know why since I havent seen them since May. Found out its because I didnt cancel my visit from two weeks ago. I forgot and they bill me 25.00. Also check you bill once you get work done. The price is not what they say when they break down cost in the office. very shady!

I recently asked for a refund of a service that was started however never completed due to these difficult times. They explained that it was not possible. I understand there are policies in place during normal times, but with this time of uncertainty and financial hardship, I was shocked they denied my request. I don’t recommend them to anyone as I am now aware they don’t care about their patients needs. Terrible!

This office has the Best Dentist and staff. My appointment was quick and my cleaning was the best. Dr. Kamran was so helpful with explaining my dental work. Cant wait to bring kids.

So glad Dr. Kamran took over this practice. I have had nothing but positive experiences since i started seeing him. His work is beautiful and done with such attention to detail. I have been very happy with all my procedures there. The entodontist and periodontist are top notch. I never knew there was such a thing as painless dental procedures until now. Im so impressed and thankful.

Just had my 6 month cleaning and check up and I was very impressed with the entire process from beginning to end. The staff is very friendly and welcoming. Dr. Kamran was great and took the time to pull up the x-ray and answer all the questions I had. The Hygienist gave me a great cleaning and my teeth look and feel great!

Were looking for a new dentist so Ive been calling around today. I ran into some unpleasant, unhelpful individuals but when I called Bernardo Heights Dental Group my faith in the niceties of people was restored. I spoke with Tom and he was super helpful and kind and offered some great advice. I havent visited this office but I definitely will! Hopefully my in-person experience will be as good as my phone experience was today. Thanks Tom!!

Excellent dental office. I had a tough experience at another dentist and came to the office not exactly positive. Dr. Kamran P. and his team exceeded my expectations with their kind and detailed care. I had an excellent first visit with a cleaning that really helped my gums significantly. Im mid my 2nd visit for a new crown and again, an excellent visit. Highly recommend.

I came here for the first time today for a check-up with Dr Fang. It was very informative and the service was excellent.

I have been waiting six months to be reimbursed for a dental cleaning. I paid in advance and have two dental insurance companies. Only one company has yet to be billed and I have not received that amount. The secondary insurance company has not received a claim as of March 6th. I have now turned this over to my attorney’s office. I cannot, in good faith, recommend this dental office based on the poor experience I have had with the office staff.

Ive been seeing Dr Kamran and his staff for the last 2 years and have nothing but great things to say about them!The front office team always greets me with a smile and clearly explains my insurance out of pocket costs (if any) before my deep cleanings have been done. I really appreciate them going the extra mile to ensure Im aware of my options. They also text, call (if necessary), and email me reminders of my appointments so I dont miss my cleanings.As for the dental team, Ive been seeing Arefeh Vasefi every 3-6 months for deep cleanings of my gums (I have a family history of gum disease) and she has been incredible! She goes above and beyond to ensure Im comfortable during each cleaning and Ive seen my gums improve each time I see her.I highly recommend Bernardo Heights Dental Group and consider myself lucky to have found such a great dental team in my new home here in San Diego!

The staff is great since new management took over. Ive never been more impressed with management! They were so friendly and really cared about my family and I. I will definitely recommend them to more family and friends. Previous reviews are not accurate.

Completely overpriced. And they try to suck as much money out of you as possible. I needed a crown replaced and they said I would need to get my jaw bone shaved down in order to put a crown on. It sounded ridiculous, so I got a second opinion and the new dentist said that practice is very old and very expensive. I was able to get a crown on without the crazy bone shaving surgery. Look elsewhere.

I did my cleaning and filling Dr. Kam was great made me feel at ease and explain the procedure to me so I knew what was coming up next. Staff were helpful and courteous thank DOC.

I went early in 2014 and did not trust them to do anything more than clean my teeth. I got a lot of sales pitch from my dentist so I wanted to get my teeth cleaned and see how that went. The dentist cleaned my teeth which I though was suspicious; I expected a hygienist. In December I got a free teeth cleaning so I went back, but there was a different dentist. More sales pitch plus I had a tooth that was cracked. I left without treatment, no cleaning even. I made a new appointment and returned two weeks later. The hygienist was nice but she had been miss-informed. She was going to perform a deep cleaning; which the dentist had noted on my appointment. I corrected her information and saved $447. I waited 15 minutes while she and the dentist talked. Then she started and the dentist called her away again. I left while she was on the phone in the next booth doing something for the dentist, who I recall was wearing a little hair hat that day. Worthless place in my opinion.

Double check your bill especially if youre getting more than just a cleaning. Got some work done asked the girl if this is the price including my insurance portion, she said yes come to find out my insurance did not cover the procedure and I ended up having to pay all of it.

This place is amazing! Office is now under new owner and management, and it truly shows! What a difference! Pay no attention to the previous reviews, Dr Mowrey, Dr Jaiswal and Mariam the senior hygienist are so caring, professional and knowledgable. Everyone at the front office is personable and friendly. They booked my first appointment within a week and took excellent care of me! I will definitely be back and refer to my friends and family.

They only thing they are concerned about is getting money. They will nickel and dime you to death. When you turn down services their whole tone changes and they treat you like a body

I had a crown and root canal done here a few years back. My crown fell off after less than a year and now my current dentist says I need to have the root canal redone as it wasnt done properly.

This is a great office, the Drs a are top notch they have the latest technology for one visit dentistry . So if you are a Dental chicken , this is your spot. One shot one visit

They hung up on me when i called to cancel my appointment. They were forcing me to redo a panel that I had done a month ago...insurance only covers it once every 5 years. Also they refused to call my primary care for medical records. They will nickel and dime yoy, and office staff is rude.
