Ive had amazing experiences attending webinars with Global Immersion, reading the book Mending the Divides and listening to their Everyday Peacemaking podcast. I have been encouraged in my life and faith through these resources, and I wholeheartedly support their mission of empowering everyday people like you and me to be peacemakers in our lives and in a divided world. I highly recommend the resources and experiences they offer and also look forward to participating more. Through them, I have discovered practical ways to grow into the peacemaking way of life Im called to as a follower of Jesus.

My experience with Thresholds has been deeply empowering and life giving! The workshops/classes Ive attended were wonderfully supportive to my personal journey, deepening my understanding of myself, others and my spirituality. The leadership / mentoring provided is infused with humility (such a gift) and is beautifully insightful and nurturing. I was first introduced to Thresholds by my friend who thought I’d benefit from their coaching and training as I processed a transition in my life. What I experienced was a group of spiritual mentors and guides who helped me heal and dream again. They walked alongside of me, attending to the new life that God was inviting me into. They were patient and gentle but also helped uncover limiting beliefs that were holding me back.Rob and Lari Yackley are the real deal and are mentoring leaders to serve in the wild way of Jesus. I’m grateful to have been helped by the Thresholds Community; and honored now to serve others in their spiritual growth and development as a Thresholds coach and trainer.

I was connected to Thresholds for coaching as a grant requirement, but I continue because Ive discovered rich relationships and thought-provoking conversation. Ive experienced growth and encouragement that has pushed me deeper into myself and my relationship with God as well as opened me up with greater purpose and with more of myself toward my community. The experience has been invaluable personally and professionally.

The Global Immersion Project and Thresholds Community are longstanding, reliable instruments for global good, which have my full support. They are run by wise, selfless leaders, who use charitable donations effectively and efficiently. Clearly, God is with them. I will never forget the immersion experience into peace/conflict circumstances that I joined. TGIP’s podcast is fun and deep.

Our community has intersected with Thresholds many times and in many places. They are the real deal. Vibrant, engaged, welcoming and visionary. I have also met with one of their spiritual directors, and she is amazing: kind, prayerful, attentive and a deep listener. If you have a chance to interact with this group, participate in spiritual direction or attend one of their events, do it!

Participating in a Thresholds Cohort was a truly enriching experience. The sessions provoked deep thinking and led to several paradigm switches that have changed how I participate in missional living. This is not a guarantee from the experience, but I currently live in neighborhood community with several people who partook in the cohort experience with me, and doing life together with them has been one of the deepest joys of my adult life.

The Thresholds Community is a rare gem and I treasure their people. I have received coaching personally and professionally from different members within this organization and they have helped me through key moments and transitions. They are full of integrity and I have learned that I can trust them inherently. If you are in a transition or feel stuck, they can help. If you are wondering how to navigate through conflict or a challenge, they can help. If you are concerned about how you fit into the Church when everything seems to either be changing or in need of change, that is their sweet spot. The Thresholds Community encouraged me in my walk with Jesus. I participated in Momentum and have a better understanding of my calling, strengths and weaknesses, and how to love and follow God while becoming the man God created me to be. I am grateful to God for blessing me and my neighborhood community through Thresholds.

The Global Immersion Project has provided and continues to provide a framework for being an agent of making peace in our community and around the globe. I am inspired and thankful to be a part of this group.

Through this wonderful community of believers, I have learned to be a better listener, pray for those I don’t understand yet, confidently speak up (or be quiet), and continue to seek the peace of my family, city, nation, and world. Together we can join God’s work of reconciling, breaking down the dividing walls, and extending kindness, forgiveness, and friendship!

8 years ago, I had the opportunity to live life in the same neighborhood and attend workshops/trainings facilitated by Rob. Even though I was fresh out of college, newly married, and just starting my career, he treated me as an equal by accepting me as a friend, offering his wisdom and life experiences, and speaking truth. I’m confident that anyone who has the opportunity to work with or learn from Rob today will be better for it.

I have personally been so encouraged and have felt so supported in my work of bringing hope to our neighborhood through the food business we started this past year. We have received wise counsel through their ministry and it’s been a gift to have their support and prayers!
