After only having our pup for 6 weeks, my husband and I were nervous about boarding him during a family trip since he has pretty bad anxiety. The staff at CRAM was amazing!! They did a temperament check/day care beforehand to make sure he would be okay around other dogs, which honestly was a big relief for us too since we werent sure how he would be. During his weekend stay, the staff texted photos to us to let us know he was doing okay and having a good time - it was so sweet! He even whined getting in the car leaving camp because he had so much fun Such a good price for overnight boarding and more importantly your peace of mind as an owner! 10/10 recommend

My pooch always enjoys her stay here. That staff is always friendly, upbeat, great attitudes and you can tell they really enjoy their job which in turn makes the dogs feel comfortable and puts me at ease 😀. Highly recommend them.

My baby is so happy to come here for daycare everyday. We started off two days a week and soon moved to 5 days a week as she still needed some energy to be let loose ;)They are great with all the doggies here and all of them are so sweet. I highly recommend Camp if you are wanting your pup to have the time of their life while you are at work or away!

The staff at Camp Run-A-Mutt are professional and fun. They clearly love the dogs and love being around them. They made me and Rocky feel comfortable and have taken great care of Rocky while hes there. So nice that you can just drop your doggy off, no fussing with appointments and scheduling. Best doggu daycare by far! My dog has separation anxiety and we left her with Camp Run-A-Mutt for over a week... We had the opportunity to check on her daily and when we picked her up she was a happy dog. We will 100% continue to rely on them for future daycare visits and boarding. You guys are amazing!

I was looking for a place I could take my one year old Russell Terrier for a couple hours a week. I wanted him to be able to socialize with other dogs in a safe and fun environment. #camprunamutt is the place!The super friendly staff greeted Tucker at the door and ushered him straight in to doggie heaven!They sent me a text after few hours to let me know my pup was having a blast.When he was picked up at the end of the he received a super cute report card that reflected his day at camp.As dog owners we want feel secure knowing our fur kids are in good hands and I can really say that Camp Run-a-Mutt fits the bill.

My 2 Labradanes both started going to Camp as puppies. Many, many years later, Camp is such a huge part of our lives. The owners and staff are beyond amazing and have become like a second family! Everyone shows so much love, care and attention to not only my dogs, but every dog I have ever seen them come in contact with. While my dogs are usually daily campers, they also board on occasion, which is another wonderful experience. The fact that humans sleep overnight with my dogs (cage free) is more than I could ever ask for. I am a helicopter dog mom, but I never worry when I drop my boys off at Camp - I am so thankful every day for their services!

Our golden has been going to Camp since he was a tiny puppy. Hes now 5 years old and still loves Camp! We take him several times each week and overnight when we are away.

So much love for this place! I have a VERY energetic Australian Shepherd who needs a lot of exercise. While we go on lots of long walks & do lots of activities together, nothing can fully tire him out like camp can. I literally dont know what Id do without this place! They offer different packages, based on how often you want your pup to go. They also have the best staff! You never have to worry about leaving your dog... everyone who works there will treat your dog like their own. My dog now knows the word CAMP & freaks out as soon as he sees the big orange building in the distance. I enjoy watching him run around all day on the cameras. Camp is the best!!

I live in a small abode in Ocean Beach and am so grateful to have Camp Run-A-Mutt Point Loma for the days I need to work away from home or just want my dog to spend some quality time with her own species. We have boarded Hali overnight many times as well, which is a nice benefit of Camp! The staff are incredibly professional, loving and have come to know Hali and I well, since we visit weekly at least.I highly recommend Camp for your dog(s) for day-play as well as overnight boarding!

We are in San Diego for a short period of time but are out adventuring and exploring most days. Camp Run-a-Mutt gives us the peace of mind that our dogs are being well taken care of and loved. Not to mention the active day they have. One of our dogs has a tracking collar that also measures steps taken and he is usually above 35,000 steps when he attends daycare. They swim, play, run, and chill while at day camp. The staff is amazing. We appreciated the first day report card, the staff’s vigilance for keeping dogs up to date on vaccines, the photos of our dogs from time to time, and the birthday celebration one of our dogs received on his birthday. I highly recommend taking your dog(s) to Camp Run-a-Mutt.

We were welcomed with smiles and super dog friendly people. Our dog passed the meet and greet and had a great first day there and then returned to board for a week of fun and made so many dog and people friends there. He’s a rescue from China dog meat trade so he’s been through a lot in his short life and we like him to have no cage boarding for obvious reasons and he thrives at Camp Run a Mutt. We loved that we could take a peek on the webcam and see him interacting with his dog friends. Great place!!

As a neighbor I unfortunately hear the dogs barking endlessly all day, I really really love dogs and the reason this place gets one star is because I can hear the staff yelling at the dogs constantly and when a dog does not stay quite, I hear it scream and then it does stay quite. Whatever methods this place is selling you, please drive around the back and look at what kind of people you at paying to mind your dogs. Please consider a neighbor or a person that needs the money and will look after you dog like you would.This place is not good for you dog.

It is difficult to find a place that understands how pet parents feel about their pups. I feel lucky to have found this one.He is loved. They treat him as if he was their baby as well as mine. That means more to me than most can understand. He is an individual to them and not just another dog. I really can’t say enough positive about my experiences so far. I’ll add more in a few months. Desperately needed someone to watch my dog for a day and I am from out of town. Woman who answered the phone informed me unfortunately they wouldn’t be able to accommodate due to some pre-requisites not met but took the tome to refer me to 3 other possible places and found one that would take in my dog.When an employee cares enough to do what she can to help even if the company cannot, that’s a diamond in the rough.

I am so grateful for camp run a mutt! I have a Soi dog rescue from the illegal meat trade and he cannot he kept in a crate. The cage free dog boarding full of happy dogs and humans who know every single dog, and love every single dog is what he needs when he goes to overnight camp. My dog is so well taken care of at camp, and we love the photo updates during the day, the report cards, and knowing that he gets to play and sleep with his friends while he’s there. The ability to watch him on the mutt cams eases my anxiety when I miss him, and honestly sending him to camp has eased his separation anxiety an incredible amount. We love camp. We just got a new doggy and can’t wait to send her to camp too!

Love the Camp Run-A-Mutt Point Loma location! Takes such good care of my dog luna. We have boarded and done daycare there for over a year now. Not usually one to write reviews but the staff there is so friendly and genuine. They really get to know every pup. Ive come to pick her up and they always let me know if they notice anything to keep an eye on like her licking at one paw or if she has a belly rash and they put some ointment on or whatever needs to be done to make sure shes ok. Its on the pricier side for me but I think its 1000% worth it and would never go anywhere else!

Weve been bringing our dog, Riley, to Camp Run-a-Mutt in Point Loma for about 6 months now. We love it and more importantly, Riley loves it.My fiance and I both work full-time. We hate leaving Riley at home all day alone and its not always feasible to come home during the day to walk him. Camp Run-a-Mutt has been the best solution for us. We feel comfortable leaving him there all day because we know hes safe and loved. All the employees weve encountered know Riley by name and theyre always so excited to see him. It is a little pricey but its worth it because I know hes safe and happy when we drop him off. I dont worry about him at all while hes there. We love Camp Run-a-Mutt!

I love Angie. She is a wonderful and loving labradoodle groomer. I feel fortunate to have someone that looks after all three of my babies. Treats them individually and considers each one of their needs! At the end of their time with her...the look beautiful and have had a great day!

We love this place. And more importantly, our dog loves this place! They are all true dog lovers, who relish in playing and loving on all the dogs. They have outstanding customer service, their groomer is awesome, our dog loved staying overnight, they create such a happy environment. Cannot recommend highly enough.

I only have good things to say about the facility and the staff. They are all compassionate, and obviously love dogs. My small puppy started going there at 3 months, and she gets very excited when we pull into the parking lot knowing that shes going to have a wonderful day

Camp is our favorite doggy day care! Theres always lots of dogs, the water fountain is our pups favorite, and bonus, she always comes come exhausted! The cameras are great, as long as they are working, it can be hit or miss. Its always nice to check in and see what our girl is up to! Pretty much all the staff is friendly aside from one girl that I get the feeling isnt a big fan of our energetic girl- but thats okay. The location is a little awkward to get to but isnt too far from home which is convenient. Would definitely recommend!

Our two Goldendoodles are a handful of busy delight for us, and Camp keeps the safe and happy when we can’t be with them. Zero reservations about leaving them, and sheer happiness when we arrive for the Doodles, even our shy guy! Grateful indeed for this option when we have to be away, for several hours or even days!

Interesting this place is called Camp “Run” a Mutt seeing our puppy got asked to leave because she was “running in the yard.” Apparently running is not allowed here, and if you have a playful pup, watch out. My dog loved this place, she had been a handful of times with no complaints, except for one specific staff member every time. I will be honest, we have a 9 month old mix breed husky puppy with a lot of energy, which is why we paid to have her run around and play. She goes to the dog park, no issues, she is not aggressive by any means, has never bitten, barked, or even yelped at another dog. When she got spayed the vet told us she didn’t even crate her because she was so sweet and well behaved. So, not sure how to rate a doggy day care who told us, word for word “Our staff just can’t handle her.” If your staff can’t handle a running dog.... not sure you should be in business.

Ziggy loves camp! The best part is that when hes done socializing, hes totally worn out and sleeps like a baby :-) The staff is very attentive, friendly and the dogs really listen to them. Very rarely (if ever), do you see a dog misbehaving. Its actually amazing that they all get along. Also, we love that they have crate free boarding. Im sure its available for dogs who are crate trained, but its nice that theres an option.

My 5 1/2 month old Mini Aussie Kai absolutely loves it there! The first day he was a bit sad and stressed, and the staff called me to check in and share. They were patient and supportive, and by visit two he was comfortable and excited to return. I then boarded him there for a couple of nights on my first trip away, and they were amazing! I got pictures sent of him sleeping next to another dog and could enjoy my trip. He was happy and tired upon my return. Ive researched several places, and for Kai this is the best way to go for both daycare or boarding. They are truly top notch!

I cant say enough good things about Camp Run a Mutt. My bulldog Rothsteins absolutely loves going here for daycare as well as overnight boarding. The entire staff is very friendly, they have an awesome location with tons of room for my pup to run and play. They also have great prices on grooming and and bathing services. I would highly recommend Camp Run a Mutt Point Loma for all your dogs daycare/boarding needs

Staff are friendly. Puppy goes through temperment tests just like the rest of the dogs, so you know that there is a better chance of dogs getting along. Really helped me out in a pinch. Dog comes back real dirty, so anticipate them getting a bath same day.

I couldn’t say enough positive things about Camp run a Mutt. Our Dog has been going there since he was 6 months old and is now 3.5yrs. Maurice is a special boy who is smart as a whip and stubborn when he doesn’t want to do something. The staff at Camp are wonderful. They have taken the time to learn how to work with him. All the staff make me feel like he is their favorite (I am sure that all the fur-parents feel this way). They send us pictures of him while we’re on vacation and sometimes “just because “. I highly recommend them for daycare and boarding!!!

Camp Run-A-Mutt is a great, local & safe place for your pup! We trust them 100% with our fur baby (75 lbs) who is timid and shy. Their staff are gentle, friendly and attentive. Being able to see how she is doing with their camera monitoring is great. The management and staff demonstrate a genuine love for the animals and care about you as a customer. You and your pup is in good hands with them!

The staff is super friendly and my old dog loved going here on days I could not be with him. The doggy cams let me check in on him throughout the day so I always knew how he was doing. The name tased baskets were a personal touch and the staff even gave my boy a nickname. They really care about dogs!

This place is great for a pups day out. The staff are very professional and friendly. My pup loves the water pools they have and spends most his day in them. The cameras are great to see what is happening throughout the day. I can only give 4 stars because my dog did end up with kennel cough and raw foot pads, which are very common for dog day cares.

Our puppy Wolverine has been attending daycare at camp run a mutt since he was old enough and up to date on shots. He goes just about every day and always comes home worn out. We love that he is able to socialize with other pups and the humans that are in the yard throughout the day. We are very satisfied with the level of care that our puppy receives at camp run a mutt, the staff are very attentive and always make sure to notify us if there is ever an issue or if our puppy seems not to be himself. He loves going here and is always excited to get in the car because he knows where hes going :) we are very grateful to the staff and owners that daily provide a place for our pup to enjoy himself without being locked in a crate all day long.

The staff are very friendly and always welcome my dog by name. It’s been great to be able to check in on the Mutt Cams and the employees are always walking around, cleaning up the yard and loving on the dogs. Keep in mind that small and large dogs play together. So far we have had a wonderful experience and believe it is well worth the investment.

Our dog Roo (a corgi) LOVES it here! We cant even say camp run-a-mutt without him excitedly running towards the door. Its super clean and the staff is always friendly. The day care drop off is super quick which is great when youre in a hurry.

Overtime (2-3 years) and overall (1 day a week), my experience has been nothing less than what my 5 star rating indicates. A top shelf business with a fair trading strategy.Take a hour of your day to tour their clean and sizeable facility. My dogs have never come home complaining about it!Most important about these reviews are about the human factors... the few humans that are involved with this facility are supportive, understanding, professional, and I know they love what we bring them.So why don’t you come on over and let these wonderful people love on your little furry children for a day or even overnight. You will be glad you did!

This place truly is awesome! I have been going here for about 8 months and they are nice people who always have a smile on their face. Not to mention my dog loves it here so much that he bags to come! I choose to go here rather than other places (even though i can get discounts elsewhere through work...) because the facility is always clean, the play yard is spacious, the staff is always kind and my dog loves it there so i know they treat him well. Also they dont try to push all their dog foods and other things on you every time you go in there. Good job people!! :-)

I love this place. Yes their staff is very personable and yes my dog really likes it. But what I like most is when an issue arises, they do their very best to resolve it. That includes the lack of a.c. in their building. That is a real issue with obedience classes. So one less star.

My dog loves Run-A-Mutt. When I just say the word camp his ears perk up and he jumps down ready to go to camp. They, every one of the staff, love dogs and the dogs know it. Listo is always greeted by name when we walk in the door. I strongly recommend them for your doggy daycare or even overnight.

CRAM Point Loma is the most amazing dog daycare ever. Weve tried others (even other CRAM franchises) and this is hands down the best. The owners Kim and Lori have taken great pains to ensure a safe and FUN environment for everyone involved. Sheldon and the girls always welcome us by name. I dont mind driving a little out of my way to drop my dog off with them because she is happy and I am secure that she will have a good day. The Muttcams give you added piece of mind as well. Five paws up!

They take good care of all the dogs and know them on a personal basis. My dog LOVES all of her friends here. Drop your dogs off excited, pick them up tired. I particularly like that the dogs have to be screened prior to acceptance into the camp. Their rates are reasonable, they have muttcams for your viewing pleasure, and its an all around pleasant place. When I have things to do, Im glad to drop my dog off for a few hours and not worry about her. On top of all that, its a training school AND a boutique!

We love Camp Run-A-Mutt. Our two dogs have been going here for years--for daycare, boarding and grooming. Its not cheap, but theyre super reliable, loving towards our pets, check-in and out is a breeze and theyve called us and provided solutions when one of our dogs had a little ear infection during his stay. I would 100% recommend.

Love this place! My dog goes at least once a week, for a day filled with dog & human friends alike. They send me pictures once in a while, if he managed to make a super cute face that day. And, my favorite, they have 5 cameras set up that film the camp site all day, so I can check on him while at work. You guys rock!

My lab Annie cannot wait to go to camp. We take her there everyday to play for a few hours. All the staff are professional and absolute dog lovers. I have boarded Annie a few times also. I love that overnights are just huge sleepovers for the dogs. There are no crates or kennels. All dogs have a cot they can sleep on in an open room with human supervision.

Dogs are well supervised my multiple staff, who report on individual pups behavior to owners. Orit enjoys her visits, although she is still happy to see me in the evenings. Much better than a traditional kennel!

I have been using Camp Run-A-Mutt Point Loma for more than a year for my Australian Shepherd. It is a well managed place, the staff is great and they take care of your dog just as they would a preschooler. I have used them for both daycare and boarding. I was surprised to learn that it is cage-free boarding and they have counselors sleep inside with the dogs. Love the convenience and the care.

Scooter had a great time. He likes to hang out with people and not so much with dogs. The camp personnel gave him attention while he was there making his stay very comfotable.

This place is awesome! Sheldon and crew took great care of Brady; whether I was at work or out of town. Brady would get so happy to see CRaM PL, it was like family. I miss you guys. Thank you for everything!

It was our first time using this facility for dog boarding and absolutely loved it! The staff was extremely friendly and caring of our dog and even sent pictures of her playing while she was there. The online camera provided us some entertainment when we wanted to see what she was up too. We will definitely be using this facility in the future!

Referred to the Cam Run-A-Mutt Point Loma location by a coworker. I just moved to San Diego from out of state and one of my biggest concerns was finding a doggie daycare that exceeds my expecations. The doggie temperament test went so amazing, I loved the way they handled it.I was able to complete all of my registration materials online (huge time saver and super easy)I was able to schedule the test, the same day I called (so convenient, and the people I talked to were so amazing)When I arrived I was greeted my friendly and efficient staff who completed the temperament test in such a professional and kind manner. (super impressed)My experience with the people at this location, the cleanliness of the location itself, all has been a great experience.

Great Facility, very caring staff!!! Our pup was stuggling with being at daycare after her our sister (our other pup) passed away. They were so kind and understanding about helping her readjust and feel comfortable there again.

My dog Maddie, the Goldendoodle is excited to come to Camp Run-A-Mutt. She always has a smile on her face. The staff always knows who she is and she gets lots of attention while she is there. And the best part is when I come to pick her up I have a tired and happy dog. She also gets groomed there and they do an excellent job.

My dog could not stay at daycare due to the employee’s inability to correctly read his vet records. This was after I called twice to double check what shots were required. I spoke with my pup’s vet twice making sure all shots were present. When I showed up the employee and who I am assuming is the manager refused to let my dog stay due to an expired influenza shot. This shot was for a bug going around JACKSONVILLE, FLORIDA (where I am from, we were traveling across the country which made things even worse) in 2017. We gave him a vaccine just to be safe but since it cleared up the following year there was no need to revaccinate him. The employee saw that this shot was not up to date and concluded that the yearly influenza shot was not up to date even though 2 rows down it clearly stated that the annual influenza shot was up to date. We tried explain our situation and that since we were traveling we just needed him to stay for a couple hours. We tried to speak to the manager but she didn’t even bother looking at the records before tellingus that our dog cannot stay. She then recommended we go to the bet down the street and get the vaccine since we urgently needed him to stay. This was an IDIOTIC recommendation that would put my dog at risk since a) he already had the vaccine and b) would have a weakened immune system after getting the ahot and would be in no state to play with other dogs. We were desperate but not desperate to put a member of the family’s life at risk. We ended up wasting a whole day of our trip on a place that can’t seem to correctly read a simple piece of paper.

Each and every staff member cares for my dog and is specially trained to care for him in their very clean and safe environment... Its one of my dogs favorite places to go. He gets all day exercise and always comes home happy and tired.

My frenchie brothers love Camp Run A Mutt. They are so well taken care of, and they get bones and treats. We are lucky to have a great place for our babies.

After loving this place to death and giving it crazy business, out of nowhere Im told my dog is aggressive and that maybe this is not the best place for her.When I asked for my money back and to speak to the owner Ive been given the run-around. Its been a week and I still dont have my money and I still have not spoken to the owner.Im disappointed as hell. Where is Heather? Why dose she not have time to speak to a disgruntled regular customer? Absolutely love CRM Point Loma! I wouldn’t take our vizsla pup anywhere else. Everyone makes us feel like family the moment we walk in. I used to call to check in often and watch the cams in the beginning like a worried mother. Now when we take our pup, she is excited to go and tired for at least a day when we pick her up. Highly recommend them!

The staff are very attentive and caring with my pup. After having dropped my dog off there only once, the staff already knew her name when she walked in the door. She is often shy with people, but goes with the trainers happily when I have to leave her for the day. At the end of the day, she always comes back to me tired and grinning. Ive also noticed a difference with her at the dog park as she is less timid around other dogs. Prices are somewhat expensive if you pay for individual visits but are reasonable if you buy one of their packages. They also recently added hours on Sundays so they are now open 7 days a week.

They really care about our fury friends. Ive been out of town with my dogs for awhile now and because we have been spoiled at Camp Run A Mutt, I wont leave my dogs anywhere else. We cant wait to get back home! 🐾🐾👣

This place really takes care of your dog. My dog had a medical issue while she was there for 2 weeks, and the handled it quickly and professionally. When I go out of town, I wont leave my dog anywhere else!!

Great option to have your fur child play around and wear themselves out while you are at work, or out of town.
