Got my first injections here. I had tear trough fillers. I went in the day before for a free consultation.I have bags naturally no matter how much I sleep & the nurse recommended that I get 2-3 syringes and I wasn’t expecting that because I didn’t think my bags were that deep and it’s $500 a syringe. So I went with one syringe just to see if it would even make a difference because I didn’t want to spend more.I’m happy with the results. It definitely made a difference and I still have bags but they look more normal instead of extra deep.The process was fast and painless and they didn’t even numb me. I was so shocked! I will probably do it again. These pictures are immediately after. Didn’t leave bruising or anything and I guess they were a little swollen so the results aren’t as drastic now but I still think there’s improvement.

First time getting Botox and Im so happy Nurse Nicole Pringle was the person to take care of me. She answered all my questions and took great care of me during the entire process. I was super nervous, but heard so many great things about Nicole that I knew I was in good hands.

Went there after I moved back to San Diego and decided to try a new place. I specifically asked for no layers as I wanted to grow my hair out. He proceeded to give me layers and then used the phrase “it’s called volumetrics” after giving a ton of layers. It was short all around my face and i had layers everywhere. More than I did before I went in. I paid $80 for something I hated. I should have known that would happen, he didn’t seem to want to listen to me from the beginning when I was explaining what I wanted he seemed to enjoy talking over me like he knew everything. I can’t remember my stylist name anymore but I was very disappointed with my hair after I left and I never went back. I’ve had better cuts at Supercuts for $30!!

A 20 minutes wait to be seen even though I arrived 10 minutes early, but my appointment with Tracy went smoothly. She was very professional, knowledgeable, and made me feel comfortable! I had laser done with Emily. She was quick, efficient and informative. Ive been to other places where despite the appointment time you had a pretty long wait and it was hard to get an appointment to stay in line with the recommended treatment times. Not an issue here, they have availability 7 days a week from morning to evening. The staff is consistently friendly and welcoming too.

I LOVE THIS PLACE! After a few horrible experiences at other salons, I will never go anywhere else. I’ve been to several different salons and they have Messed up my hair. Granted it’s a bit more expensive but what I always like to say is that you get what you pay for. The other places might be cheaper, but they really don’t do a good job and your left wishing you went to Revive the whole time. I won’t go anywhere else again!

I was quoted a price for a package of laser treatments over the phone but when I came in I was charged a much higher price. I let them know what price I was quoted (I even joined their PAID membership program for a deeper discount) but was told the only option I would have if I chose not to pay the higher package price is to pay for a single treatment at a price of almost DOUBLE what it should have been. There is no shortage of med spa’s in San Diego, I would absolutely not recommend this one.

I made an appointment at Revive salon in Mission Valley, San Diego. I’ve gone here several times before and in the years that I’ve gone, I was never told that contractor hairstylists were assigned to you. I went to get my hair done and a stylist, Giti, completely destroyed my hair. She took my long beautiful hair cut it too short and then dyed it 4 times in a matter of 3 hours only for it to come out looking horrible. When I went to the reception desk to ask to speak to a manager, they basically said sorry there’s nothing we can do for you and said the stylist had to fix it even though I didn’t trust her. They said I’d have to pay if I wanted another stylist and they didn’t have anyone at the time to do it so basically I would’ve had to walk out of the salon looking like Tony the Tiger. Then Giti expected me to pay her $450. When I refused because of the mess she made it, she said I wanted to get out of paying. I’ve been going to this salon for years, I’ve always paid and tipped well for both hair, Botox, teeth whitening and I’m appalled at the horrible service they provided. Lessons learned, do not go to this salon unless you know that it’s an actual revive stylist. Ask if you’re getting a contracted one and if so, you’re stuck dealing with them if they do a horrible job as Revive won’t do a thing for you. My hair is brittle now after Giti, highlighted, dyed it, dyed the ends and then dyed it a fourth time all at once. Then because it was so ugly, it had to be toned down so another process on it. It’ll likely never be the same again. What’s worse is that this has been my go to salon for years even when I haven’t lived in San Diego anymore. I’d make it point to wait until I got to San Diego to get it done at Revive. It’s absolutely heartbreaking it had to be this way. Buyer beware.

I arrived the day of my appointment for the PDO Thread lift. Nervous, but excited with Nurse Kimberly.Kimberly is one of the best Nurse at Revive Salon and Spa that I have encountered. She has the expertise that is hard to find naturally in a person. What I mean is she has the instinct combined with her expertise to really look at your face and let you know what is required which is very hard to find. In other words she was born with it.I have been going to revive for over 15 years and always finds the place very nice, clean and professional..It was so quick and nearly painless. Immediately after my session, my skin looked a little smoother, firmer and plumped, and I was shocked since my skin has been acne prone , actually a miracle lol.Kimberly said that the results from the stimulated collagen and elastin would be noticeable around the 4 week mark. At which time, if I desired more, she would be happy to have me back to assess where to place a few more sutures.My results:Its only been day two and so far I love it. Thanks Kimberly !!!!

I went for an IPL facial with Emily but found out my skin wasn’t compatible with the laser so instead did Botox. Emily was professional, honest and had a great personality! It was my first time doing Botox and she was very knowledgeable and helpful with instructions and the product. I will be back to see her soon!

When I find a bodyworker/ healer/ doctor be at an acupuncturist/ therapist or a med spa sculpturist that I align with, I am loyal to that practitioner and tell everyone about her! Today I’m going to tell you about Nicole Pringle!! She is a delight! She’s a professional and so TALENTED!! She has treated me with Juvéderm, Botox and 3 an IPLs.I work in an industry with people half my age and my co-workers can’t even tell that I’ve had any kind of filler or Botox because they say I look so young and natural. They all tell me that their moms look like a “duck”. If you want to maintain your natural beauty and look your absolute best, then Nicole Pringle is your practitioner.That being said, when I made my next appointment I asked for Nicole again. The receptionist gave me a different Nicole (and I can’t lie I was disappointed) but Nicole Chase is awesome too! I She worked within my budget and made me look naturally younger and brighter wit Botox. She also noticed a brown spot on my nose that alerted her. She said, “if I were you I would go see a dermatologist”. And I’m glad she did. My dermatologist biopsied my nose and discovered pre-cancerous cells. It has since been treated. I am loyal and grateful for both of my Nicoles at Re:Vive Salon.

Adding another review because Liza deserves it! I went to the other location for Revive because this location didn’t have any appointments for a lip flip. I don’t recall the last girls name at the Encinitas location but it just felt really unfriendly. I came to the mission location and already felt more welcomed, not to mention they let me know i had points and gave me $20 on already my second visit! Liza is the one who performed my second lip flip after my first one a few months prior. I already picked up on so many different things that Liza did and asked me to do with my lips for the best effect. I even ended up scheduling filler with her bc of my experience and confidence in her knowledge. Now 2 weeks post botox, I can significantly see a difference in this lip flip VS my first one. Great service and great pricing! The membership is worth it if you purchase more than 80 units (I think) of botox per year. And they have awesome events with giveaways and fantastic deals every month or so.

I had a wonderful experience here just recently. I bought a package of 3 IPL on Groupon and sometimes Groupon experiences can be hit or miss. I was treated by Emily she is amazing. The experience was overall very educational and I had a lot of pigment lift from my skin. I will be 37 and was concerned about lost off collagen. I feel like since my treatment my skin feels tighter and my fine lines are looking better. I would highly recommend Revive for all your beauty needs. I was waiting for 25 minutes for my bangs cut. The whole procedure lasted for 5 minutes, while waiting for it was long, and no one on reception even apologized or offered water/coffee. The quality of my bang cut was also questionable, I am surprised, someone can be so not confident in just reducing length (not changing form, nothing inventive/creative). I dont recommend it to anyone who values their time and hair. I feel like 3 stars even too much.

I have taken Brazilian Blowout treatment first time from their salon and impressed with their services. I would get shiny and smooth hair that lasts up to 12 weeks with one treatment. Their stylists have made my hair healthier with this treatment. They have experience in performing this treatment on any type of hair.

My daughter takes me here and we both get our hair cut. They have a fabulous woman named Tina who cuts both of our hair. She is such a delightful human being and a wonderful, loving person who is a great conversationalist and a super listener. This quality of hers alone makes the time fly by. Plus shes very competent, of course, and both my daughter and I have been very happy with her work. In addition, the young women at the counter who greet customers are always super friendly and personable. One reviewer said that it has a very stuck up vibe. My guess is that its because the salon is very beautiful and the reviewer might feel intimidated by the surroundings. I have felt intimidated by places I was in many times so I can certainly relate to her. Its probably because Im with my daughter and shes a close friend of Tinas that I feel very comfortable there. I recommend it very highly.

Dmitri you are AMAZING!! I dont think Ive ever gone to a hair salon and walked out SUPER SATISFIED till I met Dmitri. He is very knowledgeable of HAIR and how to care for your hair whatever texture/length/condition Stylist dont like to share their secrets or the little things that would make hair that much more easier to deal with, but Dmitri sure as hell schooled me up on hair and dropped some knowledge on me. Went in for a color correction from an apt. With another stylist there less than two weeks prior because my nice ashy hair roots turned orange from the toners she mixed for a highlight and tone. Luckily I was working because then the stylist Stevie at the Carmel Valley location took way to many 20-30 minute breaks to mix color and overcharged me by double what I have ever paid. I tried to talk to her there about pricing for a correction upon paying after the service and she wouldn’t come to the front desk. Later I called customer service about the pricing and they called me back saying she said she consulted about pricing and a manager would call me but a manager never called me. I don’t know if they know what they are doing with color because my new highlight and tone turned my roots orange once again. they ruined my hair, overcharged, and definitely lost my steady 3 year business. It was a horrible experience.

This was my first time here. I was so nervous to get my hair cut at first, I went from hair to my waist, to a long bob. They had a very clean facility, nice employees, each one took the time to say high and how beautiful they thought my hair was, I felt very welcome and like a valued costumer, not one rude person!They gave me a nice head massage and I LOVED my hair cut! Took my mother here after i had a friend recommend this place for a cut as my mom has very curly hair and they have curly hair specialists. My mom wanted to go from long to short w a bit of length at frony, kinda like posh spice Lucia did a great job as my moms hair was pretty damaged from the bottom portion, she explained the process and made her feel more comfortable about going short! Another great thing to add, my mom is spanish speaking and Lucia is bilingual so communication was smooth!Needless to say, Lucia is awesome and we will be coming for her next curly girl cut here again! Ive been here a few times before and its a pretty nice set up. Usually Kiera cuts my hair and shes always done a good job so shout out to her. This time, I got Kyle to cut my hair and he did a bang up job! First time Ive ever gone this high and tight on a fade and I like how he did it. Even got a straight razor on the side with the hot towel. Big props to him!All in all, the staff is always friendly and helpful and take care of me.

I have been getting my lips done for years, and have found Kimberly at Revive is the absolute best I have ever been to. When I moved to SD I was hesitant on just seeing anyone, luckily I got paired up with Kimberly the Nurse P. She is amazing!! Always does a impeccable job! I went to Anissa to get my hair fixed after permanently damaging it using box dyes for years. When I got there she was so kind and sweet and gave me multiple options for what I could do with my hair. I’m not sure why I chose four stars instead of five. I’ve had a pretty good experience there so far and I plan on returning. I’ve had my hair done there, and I’ve received Botox and filler‘s. The first person I saw there used a filler a little superficially and I was able to see a blue tent under the skin In two places Girlfight which I haven’t seen before. Maybe that’s why am holding back on the fifth star. I’ve been seeing Mary lately, and I feel like I trust her. We have come up with a treatment plan that’s different from what I’ve done in the past (at another facility) and I’m “skeptically hopeful”. I think I agree with her and her opinion of what should be done and I am looking forward to having better results in time. I’m definitely saving a lot of money coming here instead of going to the place I went before.

This place sucks! I applied for a massage therapy position here, and I sent out my resume like 3 times and after that. They never called me and didnt really care about my massage therapy experience. I guess that no matter how experienced you are, they dont seem to care. Such a shame! I just wished they gave me a chance to prove myself to them. But obviously, it is there loss!😤

I went in for my first Med-Spa services today... (I say first because should I decide to go for more treatments, I WILL go back) met with their Nurse Practitioner, Stacy. She was great! She let me talk and actually listened to what I was saying! She was very personable and my my experience ever the better. She explained the product and its limitations and never tried to over-sell the product line or their services. The entire staff was friendly and their customer service was right on! I had the absolute worst experience there which is so disappointing because my other experiences were so positive. However, the effects of what happened are too much to ever want to return.We took our 2 year old for a trim. It was his second haircut and we asked for a little off or clean up if you will of his long hair style. We discussed one inch or 1 1/2 inches off. Next thing you know she cut ALL HIS HAIR OFF!!!!! Like 4-5 GONE and all of his beautiful curls were gone. I have been so absolutely sick about it. We even went there instead of a kids barber to make sure we didnt have this kind of experience and specifically asked when booking too for someone with lots of experience.I spoke to management and they apologized but what is done is done and there is nothing they can do to make up for cutting all my babys hair off.

I had a laser hair removal session done here. It was meh...Positive:The place has a very hip and urban vibe to it.Reasonably pricedThey offer a variety of services so its kind of a one stop shop. Haircut, nails, laser hair removalNegative:It has a very stuck up vibe.The staff came off like they did not want to be bothered.The room I received my treatment in was cold, small, crammed and disorganized.I had to ask for numbing cream ahead of time(they didnt offer it to me, and I know that one needs it as Ive had this treatment done before) and they did not give me ice.The treatment was painful-however it was very quick.Since they offered a variety of services, I felt like they did not specialize in the things I was interested in.Ive gone to better places but like I said this place was okay...I will stick to going to business that specialize in what they do.

The stylist I have worked with is friendly and does a decent job on haircuts. However there seems to be an unpredictable pricing format here that resembles what Id call gouging. After paying 30 dollars more for the same haircut I got the last time--maybe a few months ago--Ill go elsewhere next time, thanks. Some of the stylists here charge as though they are surgeons. Really?

Ive always come here for my hair coloring/cutting. this time Michaela helped me with my hair, she did a fantastic job! my original hair color is dark dark brown close to black, I went there a month ago to dye it lighter close to blonde, Kristen helped me with a color correction and toning and my hair turned out to be light brown with orange tone in it, and a month later which was yesterday I booked an appointment with Michaela, she toned out my hair and add blonde tinting it looks fantastic! and I love it:)

This place has been a godsend to my skin and at a time when I needed it the most. I started coming to the Carmel Valley location for botox regularly a while ago and they have been great. So far, I really like Rachel and Mena. No pain, so much gain when it comes to Botox. I like my botox to look subtle and natural and they both make it just right for me.After years of coming in mainly for botox, I was hit with a strange case of acne. There was no good explanation for it from my dermatologist. And I didnt even have acne as a teen! Coming to CV for peels and hydrofacials has done amazing wonders for my face. The combination of peels, hydra facials and a skin care regimen - all spelled out carefully by my aesthetician has taken my skin from A-Z in merely 3-4 months. I am pretty excited to try a micro-pen treatment soon as well (and will update my review after!)I love how re:vive will brainstorm skin solutions and treatments with you to figure out exactly what your needs are. Their attention to my needs was heart felt and real. They dont push a ton of product on you even when you WANT a ton of product (believe me, I would have bought everything and anything to fix my skin), but instead my aestheticians gave me the right recommendation of moderation and purposeful order for my skin ensuring that I didnt choose any products that could cause another issue.Re:vive stays in contact with me to track my progress, asked me to send in photos of my progress and is always available for me for ongoing at-home skin care questions. I really wont go anywhere else or let anyone else touch my face. Getting this odd bout of acne as an adult was jarring and upsetting, but they really helped me through it with practical solutions that arent only helping me with the acne but also making my skin glow more than before the acne.Highly recommend this place for all your skin care and anti-aging needs.

This review is for the Hydrafacial. I attended the Hydrafacial open house on April 25th. The event was extremely disorganized and at reception they had no idea how to check out guests who had attended and what should have been a few minute transaction ended up taking close to half an hour while they figured out how to find each guest and ring up the purchase. I booked a Deluxe Hydrafacial for the following week. Ive had this service half a dozen times at other spas and know how transformative it can be. If you have a big event, this is one of the best facials to get as your skin will be smooth and glowing. Upon checking in for my facial, of course the reception staff couldnt find my record and had booked me for the wrong service. I ended up getting the basic Hydrafacial, even though I had purchased the Deluxe at the Open House and it was one of the worst Ive received. The esthetician was so sweet but obviously not well trained. My skin looked and felt exactly the same as when I went in rather than dewy and glowy as has been my experience every other time Ive received this service. It wasnt worth haggling with the front desk over the disparity in service I received, so I checked out and left. Too many other amazing places to get facials and I would not recommend either Re:vive location.

For a first time customer and a first time lip filler victim (lol) Im sooooo satisfied. When I walked in for my consultation the girls up front were so nice and sweet. I was consulted by Kimberly who so sooooo amazing. She explained everything and made me feel so comfortable. She explained every detail and all ins and outs about each product. I went back again to get my fillers by Nicole since Kimberly was fully booked. My oh my. Im sooooo satisfied with her work. I completely recommend her 110%. This time the girls up front werent the best as the first time but honestly everyone else i encountered were great. If you guys are looking to get lip fillers please and i mean please ask for Kimberly and or Nicole!

I am reviewing this salon solely based on the service I received. I dealt with Anisa and she just blew me away. She brought my frizzy dead curls back to life and she educated me on the proper way to care for my hair. She did not try to sell me products that I did not need only what she thought I needed based on my hair issues. I am proud to say that after bleaching drama my curls are back and on their way to being stronger!If you are in San Diego and need help with your curly hair go see Anisa!!!!

Very rude and poor customer service from the receptionist, Grace. Company really needs to train their staff butter. I do not recommend this salon.

DO NOT get Juvederm here. I made the mistake of choosing this spot because of a deal they had. My lips are mishapen now and it shows in photos. Angelica Camargo did them and I really wish I would have returned and got my money back. Im praying I can get them fixed. Anytime I smile my bottom lip has 2 awful lumpsUPDATE: They called me about the review and I left them two voice messages about it. They never called back to reconcile the situation. One year later my lips STILL look like this. I have to pay almost double now to have them fixed by another person this coming May.

Love it! Its the only place Ill go in SD!!
