Had another fabulous blowout today!! Ella and her team are the best!!

Ella and her team worked with me and my bridal party for my wedding in July. They were phenomenal!When I initially called to book, Ella told me there was another bridal party already booked for the time I wanted, but she could open early to make sure we were taken care of.Ella and I met in June for a trial hair and makeup session, where she asked me what vibe and look I was going for, if I had any inspiration pictures, and what my dress was like (pro-tip: bring pictures and your hairpiece/veil so you can see what itll look like all together!). She listened really closely and took into consideration what my dream look was like, and then together we came up with a look that was an elevated version of me! I felt so comfortable the entire appointment - Ella is great at calming those bride nerves!The day of my wedding, I came with my mom, sister and bridal party and they immediately got to work making us feel beautiful and pampered. Ella and I had taken pictures of the trial look to make sure she recreated the look I wanted, and it turned out so well! Because of the long wedding day, and everything that it entails, Ella made sure the curls were so well set that they wouldnt budge, but nothing felt stiff. She even taught us how to put in the veil so we could get gorgeous photos when we were all dressed later!For makeup, she had gotten false lashes that suit my face best (a super special touch), and she made sure I still looked like me - no cakeyness or discomfort. She even gave me a great hug and coached me through a good cry before my makeup was on, so that it wouldnt budge and I could keep my cool throughout the day.The team working on my family and bridesmaids was so fast and precise, listening to what each girl wanted to personalize their looks and make them comfortable.Ella and her team started my wedding day off amazingly, and Im so grateful for all their hard work, attention to detail, and care! Thank you!! Ill be back for my next occasion!

Ella is an absolute queen. She does amazing blow outs and makeup. She is such a delight to work with and has such a calm energy. She made my wedding look dreams come true! She’s great!

My friend and I needed last minute blowouts on a Friday and made same-day appointments. Great head massage included in the wash. Would go back for the price point.

Was traveling to San Diego for work. Didn’t get a chance to get my hair done before I left. Staff was super friendly, they were a few minutes behind, but the great conversation with my stylist helped time fly. I have long (belly button) length thick red hair. She was so fast! Normally takes a season hair stylist 50+ minutes, she was done in like 39 flat and it looked great!

Ella did a phenomenal job of makeup and America was fabulous doing my hair! This salon is top notch and I highly recommend it to everyone!!! ~Arlene

I was recently in town for a friends birthday party in Del Mar, I stumbled upon “Blo Dry Bar” while shopping downtown. Wow!!! I was literally “BLOWN” away with the results. I have never been happier with my hair! Savannah was my stylist! Her bubbly personality and exceptional talent made for a delightful experience. Thank you, Savannah!

This was my first time trying this new Blowout Salon located in Downtown San Diego. I was welcomed & acknowledged at entry to the salon by 2 very lovely & upbeat associates. Their customers service was above & beyond and my stylists asked and listened to my specific requests for style of Blowout. I have to say she was wonderful & very friendly. The result was just as I wanted it at least when she finished but my event was about 2 hrs after which I did mentioned so that she would make sure the curls and the volume on my style would hold but unfortunately not even an hour passed by and my hair seemed like it had nothing done. I didnt do anything out of the ordinary and Im not sure if maybe the products she used werent enough to hold the curl or what but at the end I was disappointed with having spend that money when I couldve done it myself if it was not going to hold the style. Not sure how I feel about going back.

First visit to this location. The salon was beautiful and all of the staff were amazing. The manager greeted me personally. Janae was awesome. She was very friendly and did a great job on my very long hair and was careful with my extensions. My curls were exactly how I wanted them. Definitely try out this Salon and ask for Janae! Ill be back.

Stopped in with a co-worker for a blowout before a work trip. The staff was fun and attentive. We left feeling relaxed and happy. Will be back again!

The staff here are amazingly talented and accommodating. I wish there was one closer to where I live but next time I am in San Diego i am going back. Thank you ladies.

Blo Blow Dry Bar is conveniently located near the best hotels and restaurants in the Gaslamp District. From my first interface with the person who made my appointment to my excellent stylist, the experience was top notch! I love the way she styled my hair and even took pictures so that I can be sure to get it done the same way again.

I love the hair styling at this location. Ashley was great in styling my hair for my sisters wedding.The issue is the parking, the street parking is always full. Had to pay $25 to park in private lot.

Miranda @ blo gaslamp is AMAZING. She is so sweet, personable and knows hair! She got my Blo Out perfect! See her if you want your hair to look and feel GREAT!

Friendly, courteous staff.Clean and well organized shop.However, what I paid for (blowout)was not worth the price, my hair was a frizzball in less then two hours.

If you have ethnic hair this may not be your first choice salon for straight hair. But overall a very nice salon with reasonable pricing.

Jami is the bomb! I was nervous that they would not be able to handle my curly hair, but she was fast, funny and great! I will return!
