I was helping my wife, looking for an assistant living place close to my home for my mother in law. After searching and looking at many places Brookdale Clairemont was prompt in calling me back, answering my questions and explaining all the amenities that would be available for her care. The staff was so friendly and was instrumental in making this move easy for us. My mother in law got settled in and really liked her place. Everyone is so attentive to her needs and those of the residents there. Brookdale and the staff and associates there really make it feel like family there and that was what we wanted for my mother in law as she made this change. Brookdale staff is always there for the residents needs. Thank you Brookdale Clairemont & staff for all that to do to keep my mother in law safe and comfortable in her new home.

5 star community with fabulous amenities! When it became time to move my loved ones into a assisted living community it was a very scary thing as it was all new to us & Donelle the executive director put our minds at ease . We knew immediately that this was home for them & we couldn’t be happier knowing they are receiving top notch care . We love you Brookdale ❤️

My Grandfather is a resident here and I personally can’t imagine a better place for him. Everyone is so nice and welcoming, what I love most is that every time I visit him he’s always either excited for an upcoming outing or he raves about an activity he just did. Best part is he’s treated like family at Brook dale, whether it’s on his outings or even by housekeeping. He named one specific young lady once and even made it a point to introduce me to her to say how lovely she is, I believe her name was Georgia. All in all I would recommend this place for anyone’s loved one.

This senior living center is the best I have known as I have other family experiences at senior care facilities.My family has been very lucky to have my father live at Brookdale in San Diego for the last two years. During his stay, Donelle Williams has been invaluable as a friend, councilor and has helped us to get services and advice for my fathers transition. Her patience, kindness, wisdom and problem solving was exactly what we needed in our vulnerable time when seeking help and comfort.I couldnt have my father leave Brookdale without acknowledging Donelles compassion and strength as a care giver and director.Thank you for making this delicate time so much better and happier for our family.I would recommend this home to anyone.Take Care,Kimberly

My 92 Mother in law had surgery, and after 10 days of post surgical care at an Acute Care Facility in Mission Hills, which was a continual nightmare of lack of care, we busted her out of there, literally, and took her to Brookdale Clairemont for 3 weeks of respite care. Rachel was our point of contact and couldnt have been more warm and caring for our anxiety of where Mom had been staying, post surgery. She moved mountains to ensure the room was ready at a moments notice, and we finally had some peace, knowing Mom was in a safe, attentive, and clean environment. The staff at Brookdale Clairemont are exceptional and were always right there is Mom needed assistance. The room was spacious and we were able to bring in a couple of armchairs for Mom and Dad, who is 90, to sit in when he came to visit her and watch football. They were as kind and accommodating to my Father in law, as they were to my Mom. It was quiet, dog and cat friendly, which is important for Mom who has a little dog that could visit, and had a lovely, comfortable, shady courtyard that was also remarkably peaceful. Mom loved the food and would tell us everyday what she had for her meals. Mom said it was delicious. Mom went home yesterday, and for many reasons we are sad about that, however respect Mom and Dads decision to stay as independent as possible for as long as they safely can. I can tell you, if we ever need assisted living for one or both of them, Brookdale Clairemont would be my first choice. Thank you to Christina and all the girls in the wellness center for being there every time Mom needed them and for putting up with me. Thanks to Delores and Pam for greeting us whenever we visited and for putting up with my phone calls, and to the ladies in the dining room for their kindness. A huge thank you to Rachel for your sensitivity and being available whenever I had a question. If I am able to be in such a place when I need assisted living, I will be very happy. This is a place with serious heart.

Im a healthcare worker and I visited one of the residents at Brookdale. During this visit I interacted and got to observe one of the nurses there, Karen Z. I just want to say that I was impressed with her work ethic and how well she treated the residents. Also she went out of the way to help me. Thank you so much, keep up the good work!

My sister and her husband moved to Brookdale San Marcos in June. They have a swimming pool!I have lived at Brookdale Oceanside since December of 2016 and I could not be any happier here!
