Dr Fogel did my back surgery in 2014 w/o any complications very happy with the results. But other issues have a -rise since then and I do not trust anybody but Dr. Fogel. I would not let any other doctor touch my back. His expertise and the manner he explains the questions I ask is what I look for any doctor I see for my health issues. Working with Doctors for over 40 years, Dr Fogel would be one of the top Doctors I would trust completely for my care.

Dr.Fogel clearly explained my options and why they were needed. He is thorough and takes time to share what he is seeing and treatment options.

I havent been to a doctor in many years because i never felt like they cared. I was simply another patient! No waiting in the waiting room for hours to see the dr.. I got in and waited 10 minutes and got to my room and then another 10 minutes and Dr came in .. I have seen several doctors and he immediately had a diagnosis for my problems.. Definitely recommend him and his office..

This review is based on the front desk only as I couldnt even get to the point of making an appointment. I called to get information about the doctor and what information was accepted. The woman who answered the phone gave short answers, was rude, and kept putting me on hold. Clearly new patients are not a priority for this office.

I came in to see Dr. Fogel with continuous pain in my low back. I had some arthritis but it was to the point that I couldnt live with the pain anymore. It was interfering with my daily activities which included pain sitting at my desk at work or doing housework when I was home. Dr. Fogel recommended a new procedure that would burn some of the nerves in the lower lumbar and sacral vertebrae. It sounded promising so I decided to go with it. It did not take me long to heal and get the full results of the procedure which was no more pain! I am now pain free and able to do just about anything I want to do. I am a senior adult and this procedure worked for me. It would be great for anyone young or old. So happy I had this procedure. It gave me my life back.

Dr Fogel has a new, beautiful office. His staff was cordial and diligent during my visit. Dr Fogel was great and professional as always. He will take the time to answer all your questions and that is something we dont see very often in the healthcare industry.

Dr. Fogel has been my surgeon for back surgery for several year. He is a caring person, who will listen to what your problems may be. He has the greatest bedside manner that is lacking from most doctors. His expertise knowledge of surgical procedures is amazing. I have always felt safe him doing my surgeries. I was treated so good, Dr. Fogal is a very good caring doctor, he told me he would relieve some of my pain and he did. I can walk now with so little pain that tylenol can help me now. This was my first visit. I was impressed with Dr.Fogels friendly but professional manner of interaction along with the exam and information he gave in regards to x-rays being reviewed. He gave a very understandable review of the problem and plan of care. He offered appropriate medication for my problem but accepted my wishes to take minimal pain medication. After 2 years with other local spine doctors I was in excruciating lower back pain and constant waist to my toes nerve pain. I finally found Dr. Guy Fogel on TV advertisement and he saved my life! Very friendly knowledgeable staff. The doctor pulled up my MRI where I could see everything, I feel very confident in this surgeons knowledge and abilities. Following my surgery I was nervous about my recovery as Ive never had this kind before and when I called the doctor very early in the morning regarding my incision he didnt hesitate to 1 answer my call but 2 see me as soon as his office opened same day. I had disc replacement surgery in 20/20 April 25 I just went for my one month check-up and everything is doing much better there was some pain the first couple of weeks from my neck surgery between my shoulders but that has subsided and I am feeling much better I highly recommend mr. Doctor guy fogel he did a excellent job on my neck and has relieved most of my pain !!

Dr. Guy Fogel, unfortunately, did not have any good news for me, basically, he informed me there was not much that could be done in my specific situation, but I left there so well informed and he gave me some options to at least make my life easier, as opposed to other doctors that merely stated that they just couldnt help. He has an amazing way of explaining my own circumstances and how to proceed. Very glad I visited his office to meet with him. I sincerely believe he has his patients best interests in mind when he speaks to you.

I have been struggling with back pain for over a year. I saw Dr. Fogel recently and he showed me my X-rays and my MRI and explained everything to me what was causing my back pain. This doctor ruined my wifes feet ever since he did surgery on her, she has horrible foot pain and can barely walk, he said, its only temporary, her life has been ruined from this surgery, he didnt take her pain away he made it 10 times worse!!!

Dr. Fogel my Angel and hero! Listens and provides excellent services. The only doctor who sincerely took as much time as needed to listen to my aches and pain problems! He took immediate measures and sent me directly for X-rays! Surgery was scheduled immediately and I am one month after surgery and doing great!!! I was up and slowly returning to my chores with-in a week. The great part was he cut me from the front hip bone instead of back! Recovery time was reduced by three months. Wonderful caring man! I can go on but this is enough as there is too much to describe!! I visited 5 surgeons who said women dont usually get hurt mid back and sent me on my way!! He looked at an MRI done on my lumbar spine because i asked to re-eval what the radiologist had written. I first met Dr. Fogel in 2010 after seeing a Public Service Announcement about the XLIF procedure. HE IS FABULOUS!! I was frightened and in a tremendous amount of pain, and Dr. Fogel helped me work through these issues. My first surgery was on September 28, 2010 (XLIF) and was a great success.I needed his help again in 2013-2014 when a Line-of-Duty injury from the military that had been stable for decades suddenly became unstable and caused severe and unrelenting pain. Again, Dr. Fogel came to my rescue. I had two Cervical Disk replacement surgeries in 2013 and 2014 after the first disk replacement had healed. Again, they were a GREAT success.I continue to see Dr. Fogel if the need arises and he ALWAYS is friendly, and extremely helpful in guiding me to a treatment protocol.I would NEVER consider going to any other doctor for my spinal issues!! He is FABULOUS!!

Dr Fogel listens to you. He doesn’t judge you. He is a compassion doctor, shows concerns and most of all try’s to rule out spinal problems and he looks for the source of pain. I waited for SAMMC to put consults in and MRI to see why I have severe pain. . 6 weeks later, still waiting. My husband and I felted very comfortable with Dr Fogel and hopefully when we see him again, he will tell us what the CT Scan and X-Ray showed. We got appointments for these test within 1 week. He doesn’t try and rush you out of the Office. He takes his time and Dr Fogel is very attentive. I would recommend Dr Fogel to any of my friends. Dr Fogel, James and Jennifer make up one of the best physicians offices I have ever visited. They are friendly, highly organized and obviously helping patients is their goal. Dr Fogel is exacting in explaining the results of tests and doesnt mind answering questions--a miracle with doctors today. Though you know he has three patients to see after you, he does not rush. James and Jennifer who are the office are experts at what they do and they do everything with a smile and a sense of humor when needed. I had a date for my surgery, appt with a dr for the pre-surgical tests and all the pertinent paperwork in less than five minutes. Personally, I wouldnt mind just sitting in the waiting room to garner some of the positive energy in the office. Maybe they could give lessons to other practices about how to make patients feel their visit isnt bothering the staff. High high marks.

I would give Dr. Fogel TEN stars if I could. He is an extremely skilled surgeon who truly wants your spine pain to be gone. During my visit James did the initial interview and then Dr. Fogel discussed my MRI with me. He assured me a Laminectomy would solve my back & leg problems. Jennifer scheduled the surgery promptly. At the age of 81 yrs., I was a bit nervous about having surgery, but Im happy to say it went so smoothly I couldnt believe it. Am now in recovery with little to no discomfort. Dr. Fogel and his staff are the very BEST. You couldnt be in better hands.
