Had a terrible experience here. Staff were rude to my elderly disabled mother and when I started speaking up for her the employee threatened us in front of everyone just to turn around and deny it. Take your business elsewhere not worth your time or grace.

If you need CPAP supplies and are on Medicare don’t bother with these guys. I have been getting my CPAP supplies from Summit for several years without a complaint, but was informed today that now Medicare is my primary coverage they can’t help me because they don’t accept Medicare for respiratory supplies. Don’t waste your time here.

I went to Summit before Christmas to see if my failed BiPAP could be repaired prior to a trip abroad. I was using an old CPAP as a substitute. So my machine could not be repaired. The technician called my doctor, got a prescription, coordinated with my insurance and I walked out with a new BiPAP. Amazing, caring service!!!!

100% Satisfied and look forward to working with them in the future.I called in for an appointment because the medical supply location I was using was the worst Ive ever dealt with. The scheduler worked to get me in before my vacation so Id have all the CPAP supplies to take with me. Jason T. worked with me, fitted my mask, went over proper wear and handling, and even went over the benefits from my insurance. He went one step further and had his staff check on the age of my machine and when it was due for replacement.

Used to be 5 star until this drop shipping method began 2 months ago.. We are NOW receiving product items that cannot be used for my sons care so they are USELESS to us. Summit had sent us the items weve needed for over 8 years and then one person decides that they cant do it now because they dont make any money if they have to pay more for the items. Summit is the one that picked these items to begin with and they are the ones that WORK. The cheap generic stuff they send in place of the other is not safe or secure for my sons needs. They DO NOT WORK! My husband was told by this person that we could find another supply company if we didnt like it. Talking like that to a client is just so professional! My sons needs is whats important and this man is making it sound like we are asking for the world by getting the same supplies we have gotten for OVER 8 YEARS. If everyone could use the same supplies we could all be happy but that will NEVER happen. My son requires specific supplies for his needs. I know my sons needs. This person does not. He must be on a power trip. The client knows what they NEED and REQUIRE for daily care of a 24/7 comatose quadriplegic. And dont delete this review like you did the last one. This review is FACT and people need to know how you treat your clients.

Expect to call 7-16 times before you get an answer/appointment from the person who is able to help you.Expect Summit Medical to not have what you were prescribed by your doctor in stock.Don’t expect them to return any of your voicemails.Don’t expect them to give you options in which equipment serves you best.As long as you have that all straight, Summit Home Medical will meet all your expectations.

0/0. I dontleave reviews but I called and spoke to a Lynn or a Linda I don’t remember the name. When she answered the phone she had an attitude saying how can I help you. She has zero customer service skills and tried to get me to someone else to help me as if I was Interrupting her. Never did she gave me the correct information I was needing because SHE ended the call and didn’t call back.

My husbands dr recommended this place because they are way better than Med Mart. Wrong! They are equally bad. I called this place 3 times to discuss ordering equipment for my husbands cpap machine. Every time I called the customer service was horrible. These representatives obviously dont have active listening skills and when corrected they get mad and say Hold On..click. They obviously need training. In response to the response left on my comment: Me being upset has nothing to do with my doctor note being expired. As stated in my original post, I was upset at the unprofessional customer service I received. Your attempt to cover up the real issue shows that the customer service level will not be improved in the future. There is a reason this company has so many bad reviews and low stars. I suggest you train your employees better rather than make excuses for poor customer service.

If there’s any lower than “0” ZERO - that’s the rating for this place - Summit Medical Equipment. Doctor’s office couldnt get hold of them so finally, we took over (patient) of calling them after 3 WEEKS of no answer, not even a voice message machine. I could not believe a running business that does not have a vm to leave or transact their business matters???! Yes.Then, finally were able to spoke to somebody and come to find out that they are NOT accepting any MEDICARE patient at the moment. I was dumbfounded. I mean, what else could be the reason why is this business running??? When they can’t provide to people who most needed the equipment? Need to report them to the state and a call to the Better Business Bureau is next.

I am actually a representative from another company that calls in frequently for our patients and I have about had it with the receptionist! If I answered our calls so rude and unhappy I would be fired. I can only imagine the despicable looks on her face when she is actually working and My toddler can carry a conversation better than her. This is so unprofessional! In matter of fact you ask for someone and if they are on a call she won’t give you any other options you have! Maybe train her in asking if you can talk to another representative or maybe leave a voice mail? Everyone at my job always dreads calling Summit because we have to get her. Please do something about it I can only imagine how customers feel!

Horrible customer service. I have called 4 times now and have only had my call answered once and the receptionist transferred to Tina. Her recording stated she was busy and to leave a message and she would call me back. 4 days later and I am still waiting for my return call. The 3 other times I have called the answering machine tells me thank you for calling and hang-up and call again. WOW. This is not an isolated instance, this is every time I need to contact this business. I will take my business elsewhere!!!!!!!

Customer service is a joke...took weeks & weeks to get an appointment to buy a CPAP machine for my fiancé. It took me having to get the owners number from somebody because if you call the store you will never get an answer. We finally got his CPAP machine & he paid his balance on his HSA card...they took down all his info & we were promised he would get a detailed receipt emailed & mailed to him to send to HSA. That was weeks ago. He called last week & they said they would send the next day & still nothing. But they sure don’t have any problem sending him a bill for a $15 balance. Guess we will have to call the HSA bank & tell them the business refuses to give us a receipt. The worst experience we have ever had, hands down.

Started off a bit shaky with some of the people on the phone ... hated having to be a middle man between my doctor and a medical supply company (but such is our lot in life when we want insurance to pay for things) ... didnt feel like either one was treating me like a long term customer ... when I finally did go in to pick up my CPAP machine ... Jason (I think his name was) was incredibly tuned to my needs and helpful in getting me the right equipment as fast as possible. I will be going back there in the future.

I am actually very surprised at the one star reviews. I have been to this office a couple of times because of the products they carry are the tings that my grandparents need. They are always very helpful when I have questions about the things my grandparents need or there is a billing issue (the billing office is super helpful as well). I love the great feeling walking into this office and being able to talk to the receptionisnt about what Im picking up, and it is always great to have her ask how my grandparents are doing. I have always been treated so well by the front desk receptionist. Of course I have been in a few times in the morning and during lunch hours and there is always 2 or 3 different faces sitting at that desk. In fact, the women are all very friendly, one is a little more frantic than the other two, but hey, I still get frantic at my job when I forget or dont know what to do. (I am also a receptionist at a medical office) The one thing that did stop me from giving a 5th star is because of my last visit. I walked in around 3:30-4:00 and the young receptionist was with a patient (I assume) showing them how to use their walker and the attachments. she DID in fact greet me and I told her to finish up because I was in no rush. However, I did find it odd that there was no one else at the front desk. I do know that the Customer Service Reps sit in that room right next to the front desk. I could hear them just talking (I looked around the corner) and they were all turned around talking and on their phones. Doing nothing. While the receptionist is with a patient and the front phone is ringing? Why was no one helping? The poor receptionist was running around trying to finish with who she was helping, trying to answer the constant ringing of the phone, and greeting the now 2 other people who walked through the door. Finally when I thought someone was going to try and help her, they just looked at the crowded front and continued walking, just to come back with something to drink. And back to talking she went. I have to give the receptionist props, because I could not be the only receptionist at my office(we have two). I wouldnt know what to do between, helping the people who walk in, answering the constant ringing phone (which I bet has more than 5 lines because mine phone does), and whatever other tasks she has to get done (not to mention the complaints one of the customers had, talking badly about the receptionist. which I thought was unfair because there was a room full of REPRESENTATIVES just sitting on their butts talking.). I will be coming back to get the items my grandparents need of course. I just thought that I would shed some light on the unfair reviews on the company. I do like this company very much! Thank you for helping out my grandparents!

I came back to return/exchange my CPAP. Despite being told on the phone (after calling 5 times) that they had neither the CPAP nor the mask my doctor had prescribed, I was delighted to receive both at my visit. I was also treated kindly by employees. I thought my first impressions of Summit had been wrong.UNTIL I returned home. My prescription is for a CPAP set to 5.0. I came home with a range from 6.0 -> 15.0. No where near what my doctor had ordered.I woke up every 30 minutes during the night with air shoved down my throat and had to constantly reset it to “ramp” just to try to get some sleep. How can you overlook such an important detail?

(Foolishly) didnt believe the other one star reviews. Found out for myself this really is a one-star operation, Receptionist had to chat with her girlfriend at the front desk for ten minutes before she could be bothered to try and get someone in the back to bring the walker up. Complained to a guy who claimed to be co-owner, whose response was he could not let me take the walker unless I signed more forms than the hospital admission required for the surgery. I told him I was going somewhere else, even if I have to pay out of pocket. I recommend you do the same. These people have NO concept of customer service.

This organization has to be the worst, unprofessional, medical equipment establishment ever. Terrible experience from the moment I arrived. From not being greeted, unfriendly staff, terrible dress code which obviously this place does not have, overhearing profain conversation from supposedly the “owner” that offices next to the reception area, to people walking around a dog. Ok, so who allows a dog to be walked around in a medical equipment store front. Aren’t y’all supposed to be sanitary? I could only imagine what type of dog debris is shedded all over the place. How sterile or sanitize are the medical equipment devices you all are servicing when there is a dog in the work place? I should have made a different selection after reading your reviews. Please don’t be fooled people. The 5 stars that are given on this page are from employees. I recognized Tina when I was waiting around. This let’s you know what type of operation they are running when they have to boost there reviews by employees.

I have nothing good to say about Summit, it has been the worst experience for my wife and I. We can never get through, her replacements have never arrived, who ever answers the phone is rude and never relays messages. The lady at the desk is rude and has no welcoming smile. My wife felt very uncomfortable and we have still to this day have yet to receive any phone calls back and due to my schedule and my wife not being able to drive they promised us to be there for her. Her Physician has recommended to leave immediately and after contacting our insurance company they reported many of the same issues.
