So good! We were visiting San Antonio and found this place. Hostess held the door open for us as we walked in. We sat on the patio and Maria was our server, she was awesome. Since we had never been there before we had a few questions and she had the answers without skipping a beat. Food was hot and delicious. When we visit San Antonio again that will be a must go to place!

My wife and I found some great stuff and food there. Great experience as always. If you want to eat healthy this is the place to go to find stuff you dont see at your regular grocery store. Great for diabetics.

Not crowded. Plenty of parking. Wide variety of products. Cashiers nice and friendly.

Their hot bar/serve yourself bar still has sporadic and unreliable hours. The hours are written on the glass, but the store does not follow their own stated hours. Some consistency would warrant a change in my review. It used to be my go to place for a quick easy dinner, but it is so disappointing when I go well within their stated hours to be met with empty trays and I have to drive elsewhere.

Love whole foods I just dont feel guilty when I buy and eat from here. Its like the fancy smart place to go. Kombucha selection is amazing!! Shop here especially for organic and vegan options

I always love coming to this place! Its clean and organized and people are always very helpful when you cant find something! I bought some beautiful soaps here. But we were looking for dried lavender and they didnt seem to have it. I think it would definitely be great if they could keep some on hand. My daughter had to order dried lavender from Amazon. And I had gone to a few other places and they didnt have it either. I think this would be great for them to have because no one else has it. Which means more business for them. I have a friend that actually buys it overseas because she cant get it here. Anyway experience was great and the service was awesome! Ill definitely be going back!

As of October 2021, they have a sign on the door saying ”mask not required if youre vaxxd.That is abusive, coersive, and unethical.I used to shop here quite often. Its a shame whats happened since Amazon took over.

Im in the 10ish lines buying lunch. 1 person ahead of us. The cashier just walks away. Says nothing. Then while eating the female employee at the food counter just screams. It was alarming to say the least. Do I call 911, go see whats wrong. Moments later she starts doing loud bird noises to another employee on the floor who did them back to her.I was prepared to spend an unlimited amount on groceries after lunch. The energy was so gross we left as quickly as possibleSo, if you like unprofessional behavior and anxiety, go to this place.

Always love whole foods! Great selection of wine and beer! Great selection of healthy foods, fresh foods, produce. Nice artisanal soaps also. Plus they carry Liquid Death Mountain Water! Aluminum cans for infinite recycling!

Wish the soups were served all day. I never seem to make it to see any soups being sold but the Chicken Tortilla Soup is BOMB so I look frequently and never manage to get any at this location. I live in Austin so happy when I go back home i can count on any of my close 2 locations to have the Chicken Tortilla Soup that I love so much.Found out that rather it sells out or not by 2pm it is thrown out. In case any body else was wondering as well.

This time i went to reward myself (with Pizza by the slice - my treat) a stinky vagabond was sitting upwind to all tje other outdoor tables/chairs. Whole Foods is paranoid and still doesnt let us sit inside the store in the AC like before. But the pizza is so good that youll eat it standing up. Aside from the stink, the later afternoon sunlight was bearing down on the row of outdoor tables. Who designed that? Fire the architect!Whole Foods is a grocery store that carries more variety, but then be prepared to pay $1 or $2 more on ordinary products.Everything in this store is excellent, though. (There are no packed meats - bacon, winnies - containing Nitrates... for instance.) If you want some luxury in preparing your food, thats the place to go to.Last i checked, there were only two Whole Foods stores in San Antonio, and both are located in the richiests parts of the San Antonio metropolitan Area. Therein are the products the rich purchase without a second thought!

Clean. Organized. Friendly. Fresh produce. Well stocked shelves. Smaller selection then some WFMs, so missing some allergy-safe items.

Just love the olive bar. Enjoy shopping here when I can. Cashier was really personable.

I understand Covid is really throwing a wrench in operations, however, WF needs to step up in regards to keeping with a schedule. The hot bar has hours posted on the clear glass, but the store does not follow their own schedule. I have driven to WF to grab a quick hot dinner to only be greeted by empty hot pans. PLEASE start following your own schedule, or post updates and be upfront if you cannot follow it.

So glad there’s a Whole Foods in this area. I wish there were a couple more in town, but it’s HEB Land, so I understand. The staff is great and the product selection is solid too. I’ve always liked the produce much better than other stores. The meat market offerings are ok, and there is one staff member there that I’ll avoid like the plague due to how condescending he is, but the other part of his crew are so polite that I can normally manage. The added convenience of being able to process Amazon returns and pick up packages here is great too.

Unisex Restrooms, delicious, healthy food, cafe, kombucha, a reliably positive environment, these are a few of my favorite things, and you can find them all right here. I enjoy visiting the cafe. When I just dont know what I want to eat, whole foods always provides me with a healthy choice. Bulk items and veggies to take home are available from the best sources. Whole foods is a food paradise.

Whole foods is a very expensive grocery store with amazing eco-friendly products. I just believe is sad that saving the world has to cost so much. The reason why I come to this place is for their huge variety of bulk items, definitely cheaper than buying them pack like nuts, chia, oat, quinoa and more.

It is the fact that WF is more expensive than others. But in return, i expect quality and freshness. I usually get it except at this location. I bought strawberries and apple. BOTH of them were spoiled already when I got back. Well, not all of the apples but 2 out of 5. I expected better from WF

Selection not as great as CA whole foods. (Deep-frozen) gluten free bread e.g. and no fresh gluten free stuff.

I don’t why I always have the bad luck that no one can help, or they take a long time to, when I want to get a smoothie there. The rest of the shopping center is ok and no concerns.

All of the produce my family purchased from there spoiled within days. All the potatoes in the store were sprouting eyes. Our properly-stored fruits and vegetables started growing mold. I guess for this location, Whole Foods doesnt mean fresh produce.Oh, and watch out near the refrigerators where the sliced cheese is located; seems they have a leaking pipe in the ceiling around there that maybe has or hadnt been noticed or fixed yet. Nothing like getting hit on the head by an unexpected drop of water falling from about 20-ish feet above.

They offer alot of items I cant find elsewhere. Good variety. The fresh cookies and brownies are delicious!! A must every visit!

We stopped for dinner after visiting the zoo. Parking was free and plentiful. We stopped the store, gawked at their selection, and headed to the food area. The staff was very friendly. My daughter had pizza and liked it. I had a Cuban sandwich that was tasty, although it wasnt made in a sandwich press as a Cuban should be made. The pizza was fired in a large, brick oven.

Its a beating to get people to help you here. And at the register they are sooooo slow. EVERYTIME Ive gone in. Its a smaller whole foods then most. More expensive then other stores in area. Not really anyone in isle to help. You will walk a lot and be ignored. I dont know of any positives in the place, oh, I can sometimes find what Im looking for if I didnt find it at another store. Sometimes..

This is the second time that I have been to this Whole Foods Market. The checkout personnel both times did not even greet my husband or I. They continued to chat among themselves and never made eye contact through the entire transaction. The receipt was basically handed to us and a thank you was not voiced by either the checkout cashier or the bagger. Very POOR customer service !!! I will not be returning. I have been to numerous Whole Foods across the Country and have always had wonderful customer service. I will take my business down the street to Trader Joess. The were helpful, and pleasant and understand the meaning of good customer service.

My daughter has a dairy intolerance so we go here often for dairy free whipped cream, butter, about cream, pizza, and various milks and deserts such as mochi, cheesecake, cookies, and brownies. We also buy a lot of imitation shredded cheese, and mozzarella cheese. It can be pricey but its worth it to allow my daughter to have some of these comforts.

Staff seem so busy theyre not as friendly anymore... Kinda why I changed to Trader Joes...busy or not theyre are the down to earth and involved and not as expensive....but whole foods has few things we like to gets so Ill Ill always go back... their soap GOOD brand is awesome.. the their family size pre-packaged fresh meals are great when dont wanna cook...wish the staff looked happier...could be management. Shouldnt have to fake it...just sayin

Excellent selection of fruits, vegetables and everything else.

Initially I was thrilled to be living so close to whole foods. I don’t mind paying extra for good quality food for my family. I’m very happy with the shelf stable foods in the vegan friendly options. I was however very disappointed when I got home and realized my receipt was never put in my bag. I use my receipts to create My grocery list for the following week. It was even more disappointing when I had to throw out 2 pounds of strawberries, Along with two packages of raspberries and a large package of blueberries, and a package of mushrooms. All of which went bad LESS THAN 48 hours after I got them home. I am vegan so I eat a lot of fresh fruit and vegetables. I know how to store them properly. I couldn’t even bring them back to the store because I didn’t have a receipt. I will return for the shelf stable food in the future, but I will not be purchasing produce anymore. Really really bummed out. Not to mention disappointed to have wasted $25 on produce.

Peanut butter from bulk grinders was already served but label wrong. Tried to get honey roasted and they had regular peanut butter labeled as honey roasted. Called to get help ..and they were going to call back ..never happen. When i got there..rude staff..first time having an experience like this in a WF store.

This was my first visit to Whole Foods. The store was super clean and all the products were faced up on every shelf. The customer service was outstanding and I will definitely recommend this location to many friends!

If you havent sat down to a meal in a Whole Foods store, youre in for a real treat! Whether Im in a hurry or Im dining-in with my family, a Whole Foods meal always hits the spot for $7.99 x lb. Healthy, local, no artificial flavors, preservatives; just flavorful and plain wonderful.

A fabulously souped-up HEB, even though they have scaled down on ultra rare, expensive things like baby corn still in the shuck, frozen rattlesnake, and other oddities and delicacies. I take tourist friends there.

The LOUD ceiling music (or racket) is extremely bothersome, mere howling by some kids that somehow get to record.Many establishments put on this ambient noise with a heavy beat and dumb lyrics to help their employees get through the shift. But the customers have to suffer. I just buy as little a possible and get out... dont browse around. Even the outside tables give you this meaningless random racket they call music.Bring ear muffs.

My first experience shopping at a whole foods and surprisingly they have tons of healthy options for alternative dietary needs. My rating is low because I spent alot of money on multiple fresh fruit and vegetables items only for them to mold and spoil in 2-3 days! Navel oranges, apples, kiwis, mangoes, broccoli, cilantro and etc, all went bad in 3 days max! As expensive as the organic fruits and veggies in comparison to regular grocery stores, I expected more and was shocked to say the least at the quality.Ill leisurely shop at whole foods as I have gluten and dairy restrictions, which the store provides tons of options, but I will NEVER purchase any fresh fruits and veggies from there again. I wasted $60 buying stuff and thus never assumed Id need to prepare, consume or cook the items I purchased immediately; which is what was told to me when I went back to the store 2 days later to inquire about why my items went bad so quickly!!! I showed them my receipt reflecting me shopping on a Saturday afternoon and inquired about molded/spoiled fruit the following Monday.We recently had a bad storm that affected the city and I dont know if these were items that were affected, but if the store lost electricity and water supply then they should have discarded all items for safety measures, however the we cant guarantee freshness response to my inquiry and this being my only shopping experience confirmed Ill never take a chance on whole foods fresh fruits and veggies again.

It’s really hard to find GlutenEase (gluten digestion enzymes) without having to order them online, but they have them here. They are pricey, but well worth it if you have issues with accidental gluten ingestion. I take them when I am going to restaurants I am unfamiliar with their food handling procedures.

It was small and packed. Employees pushing carts and stocking food made up about 20% of the people in there. They should stock at night after closing hours. I dont like being in cramped places especially now. There were also disassembled boxes on the floor making it easy for someone to slip and fall. The food costs also seemed high. The cashier and bagger seem like nice people. Overall not a great shopping experience.

Good quality healthier foods. A bit pricey, but most of the organic stores are. They also have a kitchen that will cook you a healthy meal for lunch or dinner. The meat counter has a very good choice of amazing marbled meat. If you are looking for healthy and organic food this is your place.

When I want a vegan dessert that is close by, Whole Foods is the place for me. The bakery section has a great selection of vegan pies, cookies, muffins and loaf breads, even croissants! And the selection is expanding!
