My absolute favorite place to go for healthy, fresh foods. I’ve been eating it for a few months off & on and I’ve lost 15 pounds. It works!! LOVE it!!

Soon after moving to this great neighborhood (Bitters & Huebner) a neighbor told me about Local Health Market.Since then, I’ve purchased a variety of dinners every week for the last THREE years. What a relief, not to plan, prepare, and cook every night, but know that I have a healthy, delicious dinner available to me in minutes!The folks at Local Health Market are our friends – cheerful, helpful and fast to serve. And the space is super clean, well-stocked, and lovely.Plus I always buy a container of vegetable protein powder for mid-day snacks, and sneak a delicious Gluten-free muffin or cookie for the week! YUM!Try them out! You’ll soon be living the good life too—with easy, nutritious meals.

So many delicious looking/sounding meals I wasnt sure what to get but ended up getting their the Steak Gorgonzola Salad and it was amazing. Will definitely be ordering more food from them in the future.

Had been looking for a healthy, tasty and stress free way to have ready to eat meals during the long work days. I stopped by Local Health and was impressed by the large variety of healthy options. Blaire guided me through all the meals and carefully explained everything. At her recommendation I decided to go with the weekly subscription, which not only saves some money but also has taken the stress off of having to meal prep for the week. Couldnt be happier with it. I highly recommend them!

I’ve had a bad cold for 3+ days, so Local Health Market was a godsend:The lady working the counter immediately found me something nourishing to take home and she was completely supportive of my wish to not touch anything so as to keep my cold from spreading. She grabbed and bagged everything for me and was really sympathetic.The entire experience made me feel like a human being instead of a sick creature for the first time since this cold started. The food and ginger juice were just what the doctor ordered too. Delicious, nutritious, and thoroughly labeled (great for my dietary restrictions).Thank you so much!

We visited Local Health Market for the first time about a month ago and have been stopping in for the Traditional Acaí bowl which is the BEST in San Antonio. The chicken vegatable soup, rainbow chicken salad, the Lean Shake are so DELICIOUS as well 😋. And the best part of this establishment is Sarah, Jason and their staff are always so friendly and very helpful. Thank you Sarah and Jason we appreciate you both🙏. These guys are awesome! They really use all natural ingredients. I get a new smoothie every weekend- hiiiiiighly recommend- especially the peanut butter banana with chocolate protein powder.

I cannot say enough about Local Health Market....! Sooo...I discovered Local Health about five years ago by a personal trainer at my gym. I homeschool my daughter and we are both very busy models and actresses. We are also involved in several extracurricular activities. Home schooling in itself, keeping up with my house, & cooking were putting my whole family over capacity....very stressed!!! My husband works Real Estate for an extremely high volume builder and had no time to leave his office. He was tired of just having a protein shake every day or boring can soup. ... ...Juggling the meals and making sure we also ate all our nutritional macros was tedious, time consuming and exhausting... at one point I even tried to do my own meal prep planning...long story short...it was extremely expensive, time consuming & exhausting... The clean up wasnt fun either! We ended up having the same meal almost every day of the week (boring) because I didnt have the desire or time to do a variety of different recipes. There was also the whole keeping meals fresh in the fridge issue. I was throwing food out constantly. 6 months later I threw in the towel due to exhaustion,mmmanagement...look no further in San Antonio then Local Health Market!

Ive been eating food from Local Health Market for over a year. In doing that Ive lost over 100 pounds! The food is amazing, my favorite is the sirloin and broccoli with white rice and ginger sauce. An excellent dish. if youre looking to get your diet in check while also eating tasty recipes, give Local Health Market a shot, i promise you wont be disappointed.

I just ordered the Steak and Gorgonzola salad through Uber eats.. if I wanted to chew on cold, tasteless meat with no personality for $30, I would’ve just called up my ex.Hopefully the caffeine in the bitter mocha I ordered will give me a little pick me up after this disappointment.

It seems to have a small yet savory selection of prepared foods however, seeing -whom seem to be a manger- not wearing his mask and walking around while talking to an employee gave me a gut feeling that this place might not take seriously health and sanitary precautions.so sad, i was excited about trying their meals.

I am truly enjoying my experience as Sarah and team help me achieve my goals of losing weight and living a healthier lifestyle. The whole team is absolutely supportive and as many have commented the food is tremendously good. I would encourage anyone looking to make healthier dietary choices to start here.

I was terribly ill couldnt get off my couch. My husband went to the local health market and bought me some chicken soup and cauliflower crusted pizza. The soup was absolutely delicious! Truly healed me from the inside out DO NOT EVER CHANGE THAT RECIPE! I was able to get back to work the very next day! If you want to achieve maximum health and feel a difference for the better the food is just for you! Everything there is made to fuel your body with what it needs and to sustain a healthy lifestyle! Jason is one of the nicest guys Ive ever met. Sometimes its nice to just start of your day with a smile from someone genuine like that. Hes VERY knowledgeable and helpful every time I go in.

So thankful for this neighborhood gem! I love the smoothies here- my favorite is the Lean Green- being in sales, I often have to have lunch on- the- go, and these smoothies are perfect! Sarah has such great knowledge about clean foods and is always so helpful with my questions about everything from magnesium to thyroid support and sleep aids. Love it!

I visited Local Health Market today and I was impressed! The food is delicious. The smoothies were fantastic and they have healthy selections of meals to go! The cauliflower crusted pizza was delish! They also provide comprehensive nutrition consultations, massage therapy, and wellness consultations! I highly recommend!

I have a new addiction and its Sarahs Steak and Gorgonzola Salad! This incredibly flavorful grass-fed steak on top of a bed of organic greens. I love the fact that they use organic ingredients and in such a flavorful way. I also love that theres such a healthy option to grab for lunch, and the dinners are wonderful as well. I like to stop in after workouts, when possible, and grab a Matcha Smoothie as my recovery drink.

I stop into Local Health Market almost weekly to pick something up. They can teach you all about supplements, nutrition, and even do a body mass scan. Their prepared foods and juices are really delicious! The Kale salad, Chili, and Shepherds pie are our faves.

Ok! So i am so blown away by the thoughtfully seasoned dishes ive had the pleasure of tasting. Some health food tends to be bland as hell. First, i had the chicken veggie soup, holy hell does it smack you in the face with flavor and a good heavy hand of spice. Simply the best chicken veggie soup ive ever had...homemade and/or store bought. The steak gorgonzola salad....on point! My absolute favorite as of today...sweet potato chili. I just cant with that chili :)!!!! Off the chain delicious!!!! Had nooooo flippn idea health food could taste soooo good. Wont be able to keep me away from this place! Thank you!

The stir fry was amazing, the green juice was great, had the organic z bar and bulletproof coffee, everything was so amazing and the staff was just so helpful. Justeen did an amazing job teaching me and recommending awesome treats and foods.

Stopped in and had a fantastic peanut butter and banana smoothie while I got some work done in the lounge.

Local Health Market is definitley not a GNC or similar type vitamin store. The quality level of their products is light years ahead of anything else in town. The organic coffee and juice bar are just a few extras you get there. The owners are very experienced and one of them is even a certified clinical nutritionist so you know your getting good advice. I like the healthy meals on the go that you can just grab and warm up and itheir nutritious.

Close to my home plus they have everything I need.

This place is a gem! If you want true health, not just a fix, give Local Health Market a chance.
