Today I was in line at the drive thru to get my Covid test when my car battery went dead. I was next in line and was blocking a long line of cars behind me. I was panicked and had no jumper cables, but the ladies in the pharmacy all pulled together and found a way to jump start my car. They even let me take the test after all of this. They truly saved me when I was felling sick and embarrassed and stressed. Thank you so much to the employees at this location. They are top notch and deserve a raise!

A nearly new pharmacy/drug store 2 blocks from me now they dont dispense some medications. Is the first time in 27 years living in 6 different states while taking this Rx that a pharmacy wont dispense it. So bogus. Is what happens when HR single sources an Rx plan have to use CVS. Obviously I wont be shopping here for my drugstore needs.

Very rude customer service. I called today to ask about my order and the person who answered the phone was very rude and answered me in an angry tone. My order was not ready so I asked her when it will be ready and her answer was I do not know. I then I asked if I can call again to ask about my order before driving and she said whatever and hung up. Very unprofessional person.

We transferred our prescription to this location when it opened and was so happy when we discovered that Adam was in part of the pharmacy staff. His work ethic makes sure that we received the medical care that our Insurances allowed or either Adam or staff would suggest ways we could work around insurance issues.I recommend this CVS pharmacy.Thank you CVS-Sugar House for all you do as well as for what you have done.

EVERYONE NEEDS THIS CVS IN THEIR LIFE! I only went in for some conditioner and I literally spent an extra 30 min in there just admiring how neatly organized every single display was. Not one product was even facing the wrong direction. I haven’t been this impressed with a store since... ever actually. Stores are stores right? No, now I see the how drastically this changes my opinion! I don’t know if any other store can live up to that! I’ll basically be spending much, much more money in this specific CVS! The staff was super friendly too!

EMILY is absolutely the RUDEST pharmacist I have ever spoke to. Calling in from a prescribers office, I make these calls quite often and I have never dealt with a pharmacist so rude. I will definitely be redirecting our patients that use this pharmacy to somewhere with better customer service. ABSOLUTELY RIDICULOUS and uncaring.

Every single time we go to this CVS pharmacy they are incredibly rude and have tried to change our treatment plan. One time my mom went and they told her to not take the meds her Doctor prescribed and to go to physical therapy. They are not our doctors. My doctors office even called them today to get my pain meds after I just had surgery and they have made a huge deal out of it after my Doctor has told them three times that the prescription is written correctly. DO NOT go to this pharmacy. Our medication is never ready on time and my mom and I have a lot of health issues so unfortunately we have to have a lot of medications. WORST place for that. Pharmacist Adam is terrible and incredibly cocky. We will not be going here anymore.

There have been many mistakes at this pharmacy. I would move on but it is the only one optimally covered by my insurance. To make it worse the pharmacists are indifferent about the mistakes and do nothing to correct them. This latest debacle prompted me to write a review. I called in a prescription that needed a doctor to refill. They called the wrong doctor and got me a different prescription from the same prescription I have been receiving there for over a year. I am sitting here with a broken pelvis having to explain their error 5 times before they understood. Also found out that I am on the hook for the heavy cost of the prescription I don’t need. Finally spoken in a monotone, very disinterested tone said they’d call the correct doctor, not my eye doctor as before. They take so much longer to fill prescriptions than any other pharmacy I have used and they are not a listening bunch. They are understaffed so don’t expect to get something filled that you need for your illness the same night or day. Going to the counter can mean 15-30 minutes wait times because they are not staffed. If you absolutely have no choice of pharmacy my suggestion is to always have the doctor call in your script and call to check it is there.I have had more than 1 false call back. I’ve even gone to pick up a script that was supposed to be filled only to find out that they don’t have a supply of it in the store and have to order it. It is not a reputable place for taking care of your health needs.

This was the only pharmacy open after leaving my doc office, I went to get it 6 hours after it was sent over, only to be informed that they don’t have it and won’t be able to get it in until the following day. No voicemail was left for me, they called off of a random number but left no message indicating that they couldn’t fill my prescription. I had to drive 40 minutes out of my way to get to this pharmacy to be given absolutely nothing. It’s 2019. Leave. A. Voicemail. If. You’re. Calling. Someone. That. Doesn’t. Have. Your. Number. Stored. In. Their. Caller. ID. Honestly CVS, do better.

I am so disappointed in this pharmacy and the pharmacists here. After reading reviews, I have had almost identical horrible experiences with the pharmacists at this location. Every time I go in to fill a prescription I have been on for years, there is always a problem and they “need to call my doctor to verify.” They have done this to me 3 times now. The first time it took 3 weeks to get my medication filled. The pharmacist blamed the doctor for not getting back to them, but after reading past reviews I’m not sure I believe him. I have taken my prescription elsewhere and there is never a problem from other pharmacists filling it and the pharmacists are kind and helpful. The customer service at this location is so poor and they are flat out rude. They make you feel horrible about filling certain prescriptions, ones I have been prescribed to take from a doctor I have seen for 20+ years. It’s so unfortunate because this CVS is in a great location and it is a very nice store. I hope these reviews are looked at and the something is done with the management of this pharmacy. Until then, I will steer clear of this pharmacy and pharmacists.

CVS can kiss my***. If there were zero stars I would have given that. My insurance required that we use a CVS pharmacy, which sucks because it’s not very close. Having said that, making my way all the way over there, I’m told it’s gonna take three days to fill my prescription because they’re just too busy. If this is their service to new customers, I can only assume what being a regular means. They can save their ‘welcome’ message, i’d rather pay cash for my prescription and use someone close and who cares that I’m there. Byeeeeee.

Ok shout out to the guy that helped us at the drive through window today, August 10th at 3 in the morning. Although we had to wait a bit because there was a rush, the pharmacist on duty was literally running & moving at TOP seed to get everyone their prescriptions. After waiting countless hours in an ER that wasnt busy to see sedentary, apathetic staff everywhere, it was incredibly refreshing to see someone going well out of his way to attempt to get me feeling better as soon as possible. THE ONLY THING GREAT ABOUT THIS PLACE IS THE CONVIENCE OF IT BEING 24 HOURS. THE WAIT IS A JOKE, MY DR FAXED OVER A PRESCRIPTION BEFORE I LEFT THE CLINIC, WE DROVE THERE ONLY TO BE TOLD THEY DIDNT GET IT. THEY HAD ME CALL AND INDEED IT HAD BEEN SENT, SO I GO BACK AND LET THE GAL KNOW THAT THEY WOULD NEED TO CALL AND DO A VERBAL. SHE ACTED AS IF THEY COULDNT DO IT. TOLD ME TO COME BACK IN 30 MIN SHE WAS GOING TO HAVE THE PHARMACIST CALL, I GO BACK AND GET TOLD TO COME BACK IN ANOTHER 30 MIN. I THINK THIS PLACE WOULDNT GET BAD REVIEWS IF THEY CAN JUST FIX THE WAIT TIMES AND BE MORE CONSISTENT WITH GETTING THE PRESCRIPTION TO THEM.

I just had what I would describe as the worst customer experience of my life in this particular shop. The particular item I was seeking (a simple muscle ice pack) was not in stock, but I decided to purchase something similar enough because my sons pitching arm was in immediate need of cold therapy after a 95 pitch count ball game. The manager on duty made it clear that I was a pain in his butt to inquire about the availability of the item I needed. Either a complete jerk or having a bad night. The cashier would not allow me to use a $10 store coupon that I had for this purchase, and it was readily apparent from the grin on his face that he relished in the ability to deny me the use of what was rightfully mine. The coupon expires in 2 days, so I guess Ill never be able to avail myself of its benefit now. I would recommend steering clear of this establishment, unless you are a glutton for punishment. Maybe theyll even spank you if you ask in the correct manner. I will move my prescriptions from this pharmacy as soon as possible, as I dont see how they want my business in any way, shape, or form.

This is an incredibly bad pharmacy. We have several highly sensitive prescriptions in our household (including several for my daughters epilepsy) and CVS is constantly making errors - not having them filled when they should, claiming to have never received them when the MDs office has records showing it was transmitted, enforcing weird cancellation policies on two occasions when we picked up an Rx a few days after it was filled requiring us to get new Rxs...And what makes all this disorganization worse is that if you call to try and work these things out, you will be on hold for extremely long periods of time (nearly 30 minutes for the call i just ended) and theyre never helpful once you get them - just a dismissive and rude, yeah we didnt get it, sorry attitude. Incredibly bad patient care, and in our case puts family members at risk. Note that this is very much a Sugarhouse CVS issue, Ive never experienced any errors of any kind really from any other pharmacy (and weve had some of these same Rxs for years!), but its the norm for this location - they screw up at least a third of them. Sadly, since Aetna bought them, weve been required to use them for everything, or Id avoid them as theyre such an incredibly weak link in our familys healthcare network. If youre fortunate enough to have a choice, Id highly recommend you choose to go elsewhere! Theres a reason one third of the Google reviews for this ridiculous are is negative, the place is a joke.

Ironically, the reason I needed the emergency dose was because the CVS Mail-Order Phamacy forgot to re-fill my Doctors prescription. Not sure whether Emily could see the situation with concern for the ramifications of not giving someone an emergency dose. I GUESS THE VALUE OF A HUMAN LIFE is not what it use to be :(

Wow. I do not feel like I could trust my familys medications there. Our new prescription insurance is CVS and they are requiring us to go to a CVS for 90 day prescriptions. I went to this pharmacy to have mine transferred. I waited watching a man with a very greasy looking fohawk behind the counter put 4 people on the phone on hold, telling them he was very busy and had 6 other people at the counter waiting to be served. I was the only one at the counter. He greeted me and I explained what I needed, and went to give him the names of my meds, he acted very rushed and said he didnt need to go over them with me, he would just call my old pharmacy and get them all transferred. I tried to explain I had just been taken off 2 meds and there are some in the old system that I dont need, and he told me it really didnt matter. I went and told him what meds I didnt need anyway.I asked him how good they are about answering the phone there (we had called twice about doing this transfer and could not get anyone to pick up the phone, thats why I drove there to do it). He said they prefer you to use the CVS app because everything could be done through the app. He then told me I get a lot of nonsense phone calls when they could have just gone on the app. At that point I started to cringe, and also was remembering the 4 people on the phone on hold...Even after this I gave him my old pharmacys contact info so I could make the switch required by our insurance. I then asked how long it would take and he said I dont know, we have a lot of transfers. I asked him if he was the head pharmacist, and he said yes, he was the manager, and his name was Schwed. I told myself to give it a chance, to trust my familys medications with this manager. ---Four days later I get a call from the old pharmacy telling me they just got a call from Schwed at CVS to transfer my meds. 4 days later. I told them not to release my prescriptions to him. I now have found another CVS pharmacy in a target store. I talked personally with the pharmacist and told her my concerns. Guess what? They take phone calls seriously, they acted like they cared, and they can generally get prescriptions transferred in a day or so.I do not trust Schwed and his management at CVS Sugarhouse. Too bad, its a nice store.

In the past Ive had to tell the employees how it works but after not being able to scan my barcode on my phone this time the manager working the front said sometimes these work and sometimes these dont... funny how Ive always had it work in the past. Then after not being able to scan again said there is no way to possible print it... THIS IS MY RENT PAYMENT... not some random transaction. I like the conveniece of the CVS down the street but will be going elsewhere whenever possible now, especially since the manager clearly didnt care.

Slow, pharmacist is rude, will not be returning ... an elderly lady was in front of me and the pharmacist refused to fill her medication, the women was clearly confused and the pharmacist essentially said it wasnt her issue and because she had it filled elsewhere she couldnt fill it there for X amount of days ... While I understand restrictions regarding controlled substances she didnt explain this to the lady, she simply kept saying I dont know when you filled it last, I dont know how many you got last time, etc. etc. Pharmacist have access to a state wide database through DOPL she could have easily checked the site and known exactly what was filled and the quantity and called the other pharmacy instead of just telling her no. Maybe im odd because I still believe in helping our elderly population. The pharmacist then refused to fill my prescription after she made me wait for 30 minutes due to a possible drug interaction with another medication that I am prescribed, while I appreciate her concern for safety - my primary care already advised me to skip my PRN medication if I took the cough syrup. I have never been to this CVS before and usually go to Walgreens but since they were out of the medication ended up at this CVS. I am not angry that she wanted to check with the provider but her responses were rude and less then informative - she simply said I have to talk to your doctor and they wont be back until 2 PM Like, Ive stated its fine that she wanted to check with the doctor but its infuriating when youve waited for 30 minutes and then youre told this, it seems like they should be able to have foresight into needing to do this when you drop the prescription off, if this was the case I wouldnt have waited and would have simply gone home and returned. At this point I was so annoyed i went up the street to Fresh Market on 2100 S. where they got my prescription filled in 5 mins. Do yourself a favor and go up the street to FreshMarket, dont waste your time ...
