Absolute professionals in their craft.My daughter and I walked out of two other establishments within the past six months. Dr. Bogus and his people are well worth the wait. Extremely disappointed in Dr Bogus office.We had been a patient of his for a couple years several years ago and recently moved back to the state and were eager to get up to date with him as a patient again.We called and ordered contacts and setup an exam appointment for several weeks out as his office is very busy. They were even able to give me an extra pair of sample contacts before a big trip as we waiting for the contact order to arrive.However, with family summer trips, COVID exposures, changing work schedules, 4 kids in and out of changing school schedules, and family events like funerals, we had to cancel our exam appointment and find a better time in the future and it took us a couple weeks extra to actually come in and pick up the contacts they said had arrived.When we did go to the office to pick up the contacts they said they’d sent them back, without giving us a heads up that there was a deadline they were going to do that. We would have found a way to prioritize coming to get them if we’d just been given a text or notice that they wouldn’t hold the contacts. Which by itself seems odd that an optometrist would send back contacts for a waiting patient, especially without telling them.We were very understanding however and agreed that it did take us some extra time to come pick them up, apologized and simply asked that they reorder them as we still of course need the contacts. They said they would pull my prescription and get them ordered and let us know when. When we called back the next day to confirm they’d ordered it, they transferred us to the office manager Chris who simply and curtly said no they would not order anything for us.When I asked why not she just said we took too long to come get the last order and that we had previously canceled our eye exam too, and that they would not “play” like that.Surprised I apologized if they felt we were playing games, we simply had life obstacles over the past few weeks but would still love to do business with them, have our family be patients, get exams and order contacts and glasses, etc. To which she again curtly just replied, no we will not do that and ended the call.There was absolutely no understanding, no reminders of any contact return policy or deadline verbally or on their website, no policy or warning that a SINGLE exam cancellation would get you banned from their office, and no extra effort to keep or help patients during these unique and scary times.Once upon a time Dr Bogus had a great office to work with and I don’t know what’s happened to that place over the past several years, but it’s a huge disappointment now and we’ll gladly be looking around for another family optometrist.

Dr Bogus and his Staff are so amazing. My family has been coming here for years. You will not go wrong coming to this office.

Always friendly and welcoming. Dr. Bogus is helpful and will answer any questions/address any concerns you may have. Due to the pandemic, they only let one patient in at a time and disinfect between patients.

Everything was quick and went smoothly during my visit! Dr. Bogus found a relatively rare eye condition that I’ve had my whole life, but no other doctor has ever discovered, or at least they never told me. But it helped me understand my eye sight so much better! He also helped me figure out that my glasses were slightly too strong of a prescription. Seriously the best experience I’ve had with an optometrist.Also, because the eye condition I have is genetic, he had me bring my two-year-old daughter in to make sure she wasn’t showing any signs of it. She can be super shy, but he was so kind and friendly to her, she warmed right up to him and was playing with him and smiling in no time. He ALSO answered the phone the next day when I called to schedule an appointment for my husband and he said “Is this Ashlyn?” I had only met him twice, two years apart, and he still remembered. Such a personable and great doctor. We love him!

Dr Bogus and his staff are amazing. Dr Bogus is always spot on with my prescription. My glasses and contacts have always came back timely. Also, Ive always got the impression that he cares more about his patients then he does about profiting as much as he can from them. Dr Bogus is as much an amazingly good person as he is an amazingly good eye doctor and I cant say enough positive things about him and his staff. I highly recommend 👍

Dr. Bogus is the best! I dont know how to explain how comforting he is. An eye exam can be stressful but Dr. Bogus just makes everything better; he is thorough but gentle. His staff is amazing and everyone wants you to be satisfied with your experience from the exam to the frames. Getting an appointment can take several weeks so plan ahead but go see Dr. Bogus.

Best optometrist Ive ever seen! Hands down - Dr. Bogus and his staff (which I understand is actually a family run office) were efficient, polite, professional, and even thanked me for establishing care with them! Ive found my eye doctor from now on. The doctor took as much time as needed to fully evaluate my vision complaints and health, then spent a great deal of time discussing options AND the benefits and risks of each available choice. He did not push any one option on me and answered all of my questions very thoroughly. Ive found past optometrists have had difficulty getting my vision correction just right with my astigmatism, but Dr. Bogus really nailed it perfectly during the exam. It did take about a month to get in (but its a small practice and they can only see so many patients in a day). I am so very glad I decided to wait it out and see Dr. Bogus instead of going to some major chain somewhere.Summary: Need eye care? Go to Dr. Bogus. They are busy so plan ahead with the understanding it will take a while to get in.

Dr. William Bogus is an amazing optometrist. Every optometrist that I have seen in the past has given me their own opinion but Dr. Boguss opinion was the one that made the most sense to me. His staff is amazing, and you just get this friendly/home vibe there. They have toys for kids to play with and the way the staff and Dr. Bogus handles my kids in their eye exams were amazing. Kids loved it. We have found our primary care optometrist

Ive been to eye doctors all over the country for over 20 years and Dr. Bogus is the best one Ive ever be to. I have awful vision but he spent considerable time working with me to make sure we found a solution I was comfortable with. His whole staff was also super helpful and patient. Hes usually pretty booked out but its well worth the wait, especially if your eyes are a little more difficult. Dr Bogus is a hilarious man and wonderful human and I cant recommend him enough.

Dr. Bogus is by far the best!! Never once had a bad experience here. Excellent bed side manner. Very personable! Knows me by name and has helped keep my vision great all these years. He is the only to actually figure out my vision and fix it.He fixed a friends prescription and gave reassurance on my moms vision after her recent medical complication.I would strongly recommend him to anyone. He is always happy to help and give over the phone advice if I need. Ive even since moved out of state and still make the trip back just to see him (if that tells you anything).

What a great experience! GO HERE. I dont have a eye doctor because I moved from Texas 2 years ago and they have treated me awesome. I had an eye infection and they fit me in last minute and were able to help me and give me a prescription. They have called me every once and awhile to check up and guide me through the steps to make my eyes better.

Dr. Bogus did an amazing job today. He was friendly, listened, and explained his thought on why I get headaches and eye fatigue during my exam. He found several things that I didn’t know about my vision before and I am grateful to have found a great eye doctor.

We were treated so awful by one of the front desk staff. I will never return. Shame on that women for treating us the way she did!! I would steer clear of this judgemental office.

Amazing!!! I have tried for over a year and a half to get my prescription right and I can FINALLY see the way I am supposed to. Dr. Bogus is very patient, he goes the extra mile and pays attention to what you are saying, he was able to finally find contacts that I am able to wear. The staff is very friendly, and helpful as well.

No need for another doctor, I had him fix a bad prescription from another doctor I went to. Dr. Bogus took his time and did the job right the first time. Im glad for people who care about people and take the time to ensure quality and satisfaction. I will be recommending him to everyone I know.

After changing insurance, I needed to find a new eye doctor. I tried one other in the valley and was very disappointed. I made an appoint with Dr. Bogus, but had to wait two months. It was worth the wait. He has a great personality and I didnt feel like he was trying to make money. He took all my concerns serious. I am glad that I found him!The receptionist was very friendly and new who I was before I even introduced myself. She made me feel like I was important to the business.

My family has been seeing Dr. Bogus my whole life. My mom when to him when she was a kid. He always knows what is going on in my life even if I havent met with him for a screening in a year. Growing up there was a time when my moms insurance wasnt accepted by them and we went other places. My mom hated it so much that we eventually went back to Dr. Bogus and we have never gone anywhere else. I would highly recommend going to his office for your optometry needs. He is fantastic!

While doing research in finding the right eye doctor for me, I came across Dr.Bogus because of his positive reviews. I got scheduled out 3 months from my call date because hes so on demand. I am happy to say he is definitely worth the wait. He was the first doctor willing to take time and listen to my problems with my vision in dealing with. He is incredibly smart and very kind. The medical industry could use more doctors like him. I was able to get the surgery I needed and I now can see clearly again because of Dr.Bogus and Dr.Miller. Professionals of the eye.

Dr. Bogus is experienced and is willing to think outside the box to help his patients. My eye doctor at Costco wasnt able to figure out why my glasses were making my eyes hurt. Dr. Bogus is a gifted doctor who figured out my eyes when no other doctor could. After moving away from the Salt Lake valley for over a dozen years I was delighted he was still in practice. I highly recommend Dr. Bogus.
