Dr Brockmeyer dismissed my sons tethered spinal cord because he doesnt believe in Occult Tethered cord, he pushed him against a wall (nicely not meanly) and stated if he could push him straight he couldnt be tethered. Despite his growing list of symptoms and pain, numb legs tip toe walking abnormal gait. We took him for a second opinion out of state as no one else is available in Utah for pediatric. Brockmeyer would not give us a note that he didnt perform this type of surgery and made it difficult for insurance approval to go out of state, he instructed his office not to talk with us though we had done nothing wrong or unkind only wanted a second opinion. The new Dr confirmed he had all signs of a tether and looked to have cystic tissue as well as fatty fillum in the MRI signs of something going on. We did surgery out of state and he was Indeed very tethered and is so much better now his walk is normal his pain is gone and he has a much better quality of life. I could never trust my child to a Dr who is so dismissive and ignores the signs. I think he is a good Dr in what he does, I know many he has helped he is just limited in his work. Sadly I know many he also hasnt helped. I wish we had more choices in Utah.

Dr. Brockmeyer has been amazing for our two daughters who had Chiari repair surgeries. Were truly grateful for the talent he has in helping our girls lead healthy and full lives.

Back in 2012 my son had to be life flighted from Brigham city Utah. To primary children hospital. He had to have brain surgery. I can say today he is doing so good. Because of the AMAZING STAFF at primary children hospital. Dr. Brockmyers team was amazing. And Im sure that still are to this day.

I have never met a surgeon with such amazing bedside manner. The entire staff was absolutely amazing before during and after my 16 year old sons decompression surgery for Chiari Malformation. I am forever thankful to Dr. Brockmeyer, his staff and Primary Childrens hospital as a whole!

Immediate action by Dr Brockmeyer saved my daughters life. He was amazing with her and he has a great team. Very thankful that we were able to be seen so quickly and that he worked as hard as he did to remove her tumor.

I strongly feel that Dr Brockmeyer and his nurse in 2014 Kathy dropped the ball on my daughter with the end result of her passing away suddenly and unexpected in June 2014.My daughter had a shunt revision February 2014. I took her into Dr Brockmeyer because her eyes were not straight. Her left eye was to the side and she was very fussy. We waited two hours in the clinic when we finally got called back to see him. He sat with us for 5 minutes saying shes fine. I called the office numerous times saying something was wrong. The nurse just kept saying she was fine. I even called the Monday before she passed away and the nurse said that they couldnt see her and that shes 2, shes having her terrible twos I didnt agree with her and said something is wrong. She refused to get us into the office. Saturday morning we lost our daughter unexpectedly and sudden from fluid on the back of her brain hitting her brain stem. I feel like she could still be here if they would have listened to me and let her come get checked. I would never recommend Dr Brockmeyer or his staff.

Doctor Brockmeyer saved my life back in 2012, and I can never be more grateful for all he has done for me. Thank you doctor.
