As a woman, I was nervous to go in for any kind of treatment. However Dr. Zufelt and his staff could not have made me feel more at ease. I didnt feel self conscious at all and was able to get all my questions answered. Dr. Zufelt is very knowledgeable and did not put any pressure on me to do something I didnt feel comfortable with. I would highly recommend this clinic if you are looking for hair loss treatment or just want to know what your options are.

I started losing my hair when I was 21, and I went to Dr. Zufelt a year later. I can not tell you how much of a difference the procedure has made on my confidence, and my life! He values a natural look and makes sure the hairline is specific to your head and your needs. He makes the hairline look normal- most people cant even tell that I got the procedure. Im so satisfied with the work done! Worth every penny.

If that doesnt say what type of company this is, and what type of Dr. he is, then I dont know what else will.If you are a female and losing hair, STAY AWAY. This Dr. knows nothing about female hair loss. He just wants to sell you PRP. Hell also dismiss the emotional toll hair loss takes, and say to you Youve already asked this question x amount of times. Extremely unknowledgeable, and insensitive. Dont waste your time, or money.

I experienced an auto-immune reaction and lost my eyebrows and side burns. Dr. Zufeldt and his team have been great to work with. I was so impressed with their expertise, professionalism and concern during the procedure. I would do it again.

Dr. Zufelt and his team provided an excellent experience. I exhausted all other options to treat a receding hairline. I finally made the decision to seek hair restoration after 5+ years of other treatments. I did a consultation with a surgeon from Arizona and another in Utah before deciding to go with Dr. Zufelt. I opted for 3,250 transfers with the FUT method. I am almost 5 months post operation and blown away at the results. The scare healed incredibly well and the hair growth is much better than expected. The recovery period following operation is rough for 1-2 weeks but completely worth it. I recommend anyone to do their research before hand, meet with different surgeons, and set realistic expectations with yourself. I contacted others that left reviews to better understand their experience. It is not a low cost procedure but the increased confidence and results I’ve experienced are well worth it.

Dr. Zufelt has lots of experience and is very friendly. He gives you realistic expectations he can deliver on. I had my FUT procedure 8 months ago and am very satisfied with my results. I had 4100 grafts. He seems especially great at providing a natural hairline and minimizing FUT scarring. I already can cut my hair with a #3 and you cant see the scar. Very impressive.

HRC has an amazing staff, they are proffessional, experienced and treat you like family. Trudy, Rachel, Dr. Zufelt and the whole staff basically held my hand through the whole process of hair replacement. I did a lot of resereach and HRC was the best I found in Utah. Dr Michael Zufelt was very good at providing excellent information and options. He made me feel comfortable discussing my concerns and understanding my needs. He and his staff are very friendly and professional they outlined expectations and instructions very well.The process seemed very efficient and well orchestrated. I was surprised with how easy and comfortable they made it.At 3-4 months I could tell that the new hair was responding well and 7-8 months even better. I am coming up on a year and I am just so happy and pleased.It was explained that it will continue to thicken in the first two years and it seems like every week it gets better and better. I am happy with my decision to do this and now my only regret is not doing it sooner.

Dr. Z is awesome. Guy knows his stuff, he’s been doing it so long he seems casual about it which made me skeptical but the results were awesome. Just don’t freak out at every thing and trust him. I had a ton of side effects: shock-loss (was almost completely bald), terrible swelling, black eyes, nerve sensitivity, etc...but after the 9 months or so passed, I was good to go and had the results I was expecting.Most of all he’s super responsive and willing to take care of his patients past and future.

I waited a year before writing this review. I wanted to see what my results where first. All I can say is AMAZING!!!!. I wish I would have done it sooner. Dr. Zufelt was awesome and so was his staff. They took the time to go over every question making me feel comfortable. I didnt feel pressure which meant a lot. A year later I have more hair than I ever thought possible. Plus the donor scar is very small. He helped me where you can only see it, if you know what you are looking for. I can have my haircut short just the way I want it. If there is one place I could recommend it is Hair Restoration Center of Utah. You wont regret. The only thing you will regret is why you didnt call sooner.

Ive received two hair transplants from Dr. Zufelt here at the Hair Restoration Center of Utah. My first hair transplant was mildly successful. I ended up with more hair than when I started, but I was still thin in areas where he had transplanted. Dr. Zufelt assured me that this was because the crown is harder to fill. I researched his response and his answer was consistent with the Hair Restoration Community. Even though I wasnt entirely pleased with his first hair transplant, I went back for a second procedure. This time, I wanted to focus our efforts on the hairline only. After all, this area is easier to cover. The second hair transplant was a complete disaster. Two weeks after the transplant, I noticed red dots where he had transplanted. I called him and he prescribed me some antibiotics and asked how well I was following his post-operation procedure. I followed post-operation procedures precisely. Two weeks later the red dots went away and so did all the new transplanted hair (which is typical, new hair will fall out and hopefully start growing again). Two months post-operation I noticed a lot of scarring on my hairline where he had transplanted hair. I called him and he told me to come in. The scarring turned out to be cobblestoning, please google it. Cobblestoning occurs when the transplanted hair is placed too deep or not deep enough (in my case, not deep enough). Dr. Zufelt assured me everything would be okay and to come back ten months later. I came back 10 months later with plenty of cobblestoning scarring and hair that looked worse than when we started the second time. I asked him what he was going to do about this, and he looked at me said he cant do anything about this. No refund, nothing. I paid him $6500 to give me a ton of scarring. Please google cobblestoning, it is the result of poor execution. Cobblestoning also prevents you from ever getting the full head of hair you desire, because you cannot transplant hair into the scar. I hate to write this review, because Dr. Zufelt was always kind and seemed like a really good family man. But making me pay $6500 for a ton of scarring and no new hair was completely unethical. I dont want anyone else to go through what I went through. Do your research and make an informed decision before you get a hair transplant.

I love the results I have from using the Hair Restoration Center of Utah. I no longer have a sparse amount of hair on the top of my head; it looks so much better! The staff was professional and helpful, and I found the entire experience to be much easier than I anticipated. I am so glad I went to see them.

I came from outside of Utah and Doctor Zufelt made me feel right at home as soon as I walked in the door. So far, so good!I did tons of research before deciding to have a transplant procedure. All my searching led me to Dr. Z! I am now 1 week post op and I am very happy with the results so far. Of course I wont have real results for months, but I can comment on the doctor and his staff. Everyone at the Hair Restoration Center of Utah has been great to work with. They are all very professional and personable. Throughout every aspect of this I have experienced great care, and virtually no pain!I could have chosen several different places to have surgery, but the more I researched, the more impressed I became with the Hair Restoration Center of Utah. My search helped me to narrow the choices down to two. In the end, I came up with a situation where all things were basically equal, that is until I found out that Dr. Zs best competitor refuses to do work on trans-gendered patents and is against medical cannabis. I am an ally of the LGBT community and I have worked hard to get prop 2 passed in this state. I cannot support a doctor that is misaligned with my core values.More specific to the procedure:I opted for a 2500 graft FUT (strip) transplant. In harvesting the hair, they actually ended up with 2846 grafts. They transplanted all of them but only charged me for 2500. Thats right, they gave me 346 grafts for free! I also asked for PRP (Platelet Rich Plasma,) and they included that at no extra charge! I was prepared for the procedure to take up to 8 hours, but they were done and I was out the door in less than 6 hours and that included a lunch break, where they provided me a nice salad from Zupas!If you are looking for a caring, ethical, and effective clinic at which to to have a hair replacement procedure; I highly recommend he Hair Restoration Center of Utah!

Dr. Zufelt and his staff have been incredible to work with. Facility is nice, clean but modest, which is great because you know youre not paying for extra overhead. Dr. Zufelt is a master of the craft and experienced doctor. He is patient and kind, which brought a lot of confidence to my decision. Follow his protocol exactly as prescribed. Ive thoroughly researched options in Utah and surrounding states and he is The Doctor to see. He worked at Bosley and was also trained by the foremost surgeon in this specialty in San Diego. Also his surgical staff (a very important consideration) is top notch. I highly recommend Dr. Zufelt and his facility. It has that almost impossibly perfect combination of price and quality.

My body reacted poorly to the incision line, but the doctor was more than happy to help. At the time I was too scared to have the scar cut out but I appreciated his effort to correct the problem.

Seeing incredible results after only 4 months. I wish I did this 8 years ago. Dr. Zufelt and his staff are very knowledgeable and experienced. I was recommended to Dr. Zufelt by my dermatologist after I inquired about where to go. The procedure was fast, low stress, and very little discomfort at all. I actually went in to work the same afternoon. (I know that may be rare though). I wore a hat for about a week after the procedure and then it was pretty much back to normal life after that. At 5 months more hair is coming in and will continue to do so for the next 6-7. Would recommend Dr. Zufelt to anyone.

I went in December, 2016! I am so glad I followed through with the appointment. As I was getting closer to the surgery date I was hesitant because of finances. Thats typical for anyone.Between consultations with Bosley, Ziering and Hair Restoration Center of Utah. Dr. Zuefelt made the surgery affordable. It made it possible for me to cover all the costs. Though My satisfaction comes from more than the finances. Im totally happy with the quality, in just 6 months I notice a difference. Looking forward to the results in December 2017!Also a disclaimer: I have nothing bad to say about Bosley either Ziering. Im sure they are great.
