Dont hesitate to call Motherfed! From the first message I felt heard and understood and as a struggling first time mom it was a huge sigh of relief. They got me in for a consultation within 2 days and it changed my breastfeeding journey for the better. I am so grateful for this group of women and their support and would highly recommend them to any mom.

The IBCLCs at Motherfed are amazing! They care so much about your well-being as a mother and your baby. They cherish the bond between baby and mother and do everything in their power to preserve that bond. I worked closely with Sally and she was so kind and I knew she had my best interest in mind. They are all so knowledgeable. I came ready to give up with a baby who wouldn’t latch but I am now happily breastfeeding my 4 month old! I highly recommend Motherfed!

Sally is phenomenal! I cannot begin to express how grateful I am for the help and advice that she provided to me. Because of her, my sons oral restrictions were discovered (she was the first and only person to really explain the scope of them) and Im now on the way to nursing full time. It wasnt even possible to nurse my son before the oral restrictions were corrected, and now theres already a world of improvement.Possibly even more importantly, according to the dentist I saw to get the corrections, there could have been long term consequences (crowding teeth, verbal delays, and something to do with the pallet at the roof of the mouth) other than just being unable to nurse if these issues hadnt been corrected.Everyone at Motherfed has been great so far, and Im so thankful for their willingness to help.I highly recommend this company.

Highly highly recommend the IBCLCs at Motherfed! I worked with Sally and she was absolutely perfect. I have had several years experience in breastfeeding my children but when i met with Sally after having my fifth child, she was able to give me several tips and ideas for better strengthening our breastfeeding experience I had never even considered. In addition, Sally referred me to some of the best specialists who were able to provide additional support for my daughter and I. I cant say enough good things about Motherfed! All the ladies really know their stuff, are empathatic to their clients and really listen to their concerns, will go above and beyond in making sure their clients are taken care of, and ensure every obstacle their clients are struggling with is resolved. If you are a breastfeeding mother and have a single question or issue, you will NOT be sorry if you seek out the IBCLCs at Motherfed!!

Best place to take your baby for support and help with breastfeeding, latch, tongue tie and anything with nursing or supplementing. These ladies helped me with both of my daughters in the beginning when they struggled to nurse and had tongue and lip tie releases. Highly recommend them. They are kind and knowledgeable.

I love how supported I have been outside of the consult. I have been ready to give up several times, but Erica has been so supportive and knowledgeable. I went to 2 other IBCLCs prior who told me it was a supply issue and what they were having me do just was not working. Im glad I came here because we are fixing the underlying issue

You simply will not find a better lactation consulting practice around. These women are devoted to maintaining normalcy for families, offering evidence-based support and practical help to make nursing work for your family. Sally is a mother of twins herself and brings unmatched empathy, understanding, and camaraderie to the table that was often just the thing I needed to keep going in my twin breastfeeding journey. Well-versed in the latest research including extensive training on diagnosing and treating tongue and lip-ties, Motherfed is the best IBCLC practice I have encountered in over six years of involvement in the local birth and parenting community.Thank you, Susan, Sally, and Allison, for the promise of helpful advice, wise words, and warm encouragement.

I would not be breastfeeding my 2 month old right now if it wasn’t for Alison, Sally and Susan at Motherfed. My baby wouldn’t latch and when she did it hurt super bad. We tried the hospital Lactation consultants but nothing helped. We tried SNS, nipple shields, and a combination of those and it just seemed overwhelming. My baby was only transferring less than half an ounce over an hour plus period of breastfeeding. We primarily fed her formula or breast milk from a bottle for the first month of her life. Alison and Sally diagnosed a tongue/lip tie and although the dentist said it was “small” sure enough only one day after her revision she transferred 2 ounces in like 20 minutes! Now she breastfeeds 100% of the time and we couldn’t be happier about it. Motherfed Lactation consultants are awesome and they not only helped me with nursing but also with tummy time and shared other things that are great to know for a new mom! If your having nursing problems, call Motherfed!

This is a remarkable practice of IBCLCs!! Incredibly well informed and well connected in the area to all sorts of excellent resources (eg, pediatric dentists, body work specialists). As a new twin mom, I have had challenges with nursing due to limited mouth mobility for both babies, but with different manifestations. I live in Massachusetts but we were visiting Utah to stay with family for a month around the December holidays. I reached out to Sally Wright via text and she gave me an appointment my very first day in Utah. She spent well over our allotted time conducting a very thorough evaluation of each baby’s mouth and particular challenges. We did two weighted feeds with each child and talked through so many issues particular to multiples (I have a singleton first born with whom I had no nursing challenges so this was new to me)! Sally has twins herself so her perspective is very very well informed! Sally and her partners are extremely active in the lactation support community in Utah and are a serious wealth of information. After our first session Sally had recommendations for next steps and a clear plan that we worked out together. She’s consistently followed up and has been an incredible support. In fact, she arranged for us to have an appointment with an incredible pediatric dentist for tongue and lip ties on our crazy timeline before going back to Massachusetts. She’s extremely dedicated to her clients and the amount of care she has for the mother and child(ren) is really remarkable. Could not recommend more highly!

I cant praise Sally, Susan and Allison more! They are the ones who taught me to breastfeed. My son was a premie who started not latching and is now a wonderful nurser who is gaining weight and a happy baby. During the emotional journey of trying to keep a healthy milk supply, these professional and caring women were such a tremendous support. I heartily recommend them to all my Mama friends. 5+++ stars! ;-)

Absolutely incredible group of IBCLCs. You haven’t tried everything until you’ve gone to these ladies. I was so impressed! We had severe feeding issues until 9 months, went to feeding therapy twice a week and tried all the LCs the hospital and doctors office had to offer. The training of IBCLCs is superior and you can tell! I am so grateful we went. They changed everything! We ended up breastfeeding for 2 years.
