I started with Paul a few months ago; he has helped me so much! Mobility was becoming an issue and he has helped me strengthen & stretch without overwhelming me. As usual, I was skeptical at first and I felt silly rolling like an egg but I admit it, I was wrong and he has helped me move without pain & difficulty. He is an expert in resetting the body and restoring flexibility and mobility. He has improved my quality of life. I highly recommend Age Performance, Paul and his staff. They are the best!

I was just picking up an order for me at Hub, all the restaurants’ spots were all occupied so my dad stayed in the car parked at an Age Performance spot for less than 5 minute and I came back with my order. There were 2 more free spots for Age from the time we arrived to the time we were leaving. We were about to leave and an old employee from Age Performance came and asked “are you going to the restaurant?” I said “no, just picked up my order and we’re already leaving” and he told us to leave with a rude voice and attitude. To the fitness management team, be careful with employees like this old guy.

Paul is an amazing teacher in spite of his distain for treadmills.... He is hugely patient, knowledgeable and a practitioner and example of what he preaches. Anyone older than 40 would be VERY well served to sign up now. As Tom Petty said, “Never slow down, never grow old”.

My wife and I have been clients of Age Performance for two years and while our budget is tight, this service is of excellent value. We are much more mobile and healthy than before, and we can more easily supplement the training with rigorous hikes. We survived a light case of COVID which, we think, was in part due to being fit. Our trainer customizes his offerings and schedule to meet our needs. As mid-70s retired academics, we were healthy but not health-freaks; nevertheless, this program is doable and oriented towards our life stage.Brooklyn Derr

I have been a client for about 5 years and worked with many of the trainers. I have found Age Performance to be an excellent place. Good facilities and equipment and very knowledgeable staff who customize the workouts for each client based on their desires and evaluated abilities. Specializing in seniors they work very well within the clients range of abilities and focus on the specific needs of this age group. I’m very pleased with Age Performance and look forward to my bi-weekly training sessions.

I cant say enough good things about Age Performance! I am a near 67 year old who had gradually gotten out of shape and I was reluctant to go back to a big gym, even with a personal trainer. I met with Paul at Age Performance and he clearly and simply explained the Age Performance philosophy. I started with individual training and was paired with a wonderful trainer. I felt understood and encouraged and pushed just enough to make a difference for me right away. All this improved my mood too! Also, before Age Performance closed for COVID-19, I was very impressed with how serious they are about about sanitation and safety, and they are just as serious about this now. Highly recommended for body and spirit!

Our son Eli has had the privilege to strength train under the guidance of Age Performance for the last 3 years. He is a competitive hockey player here in Salt Lake City who requires off ice strength training. The quality of training given by Age Performance trainer Mike Brown has been extraordinary. Elis core stability and overall strength improvement has made a huge difference on and off the ice. Thank you Age Performance for caring and doing your best to create a platform that provides individual outcomes.

I was referred to Age Performance by my MD with the goal of staying fit as I’m aging. My experience has been great! Gabriella is professional and encouraging. The facilities are clean and often were the only ones there. I highly recommend Age Performance!

It makes me able to hop, skip, and jump. I can carry heavy things. I have learned how to bend over correctly without hurting my back and lift things off the ground. I can jump rope once again and challenge my grandchildren to planking and doing the Turkish get up. I am in my 80s and feel better than I did years ago.

Paul & his team (my trainer is Brian Deede) do an excellent job helping me get an optimal workout. They tailor my workouts to my goals and my injuries and push me to get stronger and feel better. I have been going since 2019 and Im glad to be back now that they are carefully open again with all the proper COVID-19 protocols. I highly recommend them!

Age Performance is a serious, nurturing place where you can train with people aged from their teens to their 90s! The staff is a skilled (and fun) crew that responds to each persons abilities, goals, comfort and even injuries/pains and creates dynamic, challenging training that increases overall fitness but minimizes the risk of injury. You can train here for the long haul.

I love this place and people! Having just retired from practicing Emergency Medicine in March 2018, I found my former athletic self deconditioned at age 67. I tried to return to exercise on my own, ruptured a rotator cuff tendon in a rafting mishap and then ruptured a biceps tendon in my home gym. To avoid surgeries I made contact with Paul Holbrook through a friends referral, and he sold me on the care, education, and wisdom that are the culture at Age Performance. Twice a week my trainer Bryn guided me through proper exercises to improve my strength, balance, and flexibility. Bryn left to have a baby, and I then trained with Gabby. I attended Age Performance one-hour sessions twice a week for 19 months, regaining core strength, balance, agility, and stamina. Every session was a delight, offering safe structure to my workouts. And the trainers are experts, guide with a light touch, and provided stimulating conversation. My program was interrupted by the pandemic, but my lower back feels great, my shoulders are strong and flexible. I feel that I have launched to a place of fitness where I can now use the techniques they taught me at Age Performance to safely continue my own fitness goals. And I made some good friends! I enthusiastically recommend Age Performance without reservation.
