Dr. Green gave an excellent eye exam and did a really good job of guiding me through the different steps of the exam and focusing my new prescription. She also took time to review my retinal scans with me and explain what she was looking for when reviewing those images. That was pretty cool, and I have not had an optometrist do that for me before.

Kristen was great, the only reason for 4 starts instead of 5 is that my appointment started 15 minutes late.

Oh my gosh,, she brought me up to date to this century with all of the new technology equipment available to examine my eyes.I told her my doctor retired, he was so outdated. I arrived early to my appointment (first of the day) and Dr. Green rolled in 10 minutes late! The system was down, and they could not verify my insurance. They kept trying to verify my insurance, and even though I offered to pay full price for the exam just to get it done, they continued to make me wait. By 9:30, the next appointment had shown up, and Dr. Green said that she was going to do her exam before me. I was so upset by this because at this point I had been waiting 45 minutes for a reason that was not my fault (it wasn’t even the front desk ladies fault either, the system truly was the problem). But to let another customer go before me when I was more than willing to pay full price with my HSA card was incredibly frustrating. I then had to wait for the other customer’s appointment to finish. The front desk ladies told me that they would charge me $40 and that they would figure out the billing later. I obliged, and finally had my exam done. Dr. Green rushed through my entire appointment. There were multiple points that I had to ask her to repeat the lense test because her fingers were covering the lense to switch to a new one before I could tell her which one was blurry. She lobbed my contacts at me and rushed me out so she could get to the next appointment. I had to wait for another few minutes for the front desk ladies to help other customers before they would give me my prescription. I was in their office for a total of an hour and a half, which is ridiculous considering that my exam was probably 7 minutes total. This was such a rushed mess, and I am extremely unhappy with my experience at target optical.

Thanks so much for the annual reminder for my eye exam. I truly needed an upgrade on my prescription . The entire process took me 30 minutes. Doctor Kristen Green explained to me every step of the way what the next procedure was. Doctor took the time to answer my questions & concerns. Fantastic team of staff . Its also great to know Doctor Green has multiple locations. She is my Eye Doctor for life & I do not even have Eye Glass Insurance . Sincerely Greg Riley
