Beautiful facility, nice people everywhere we went! Definitely the place to go for any kind of eye issue.Very clean, easy to find and better yet, the parking was convenient, easy in and out of the underground parking and it’s free.We were too late to enjoy lunch, but the restaurant looks great with views that are breathtaking! The only downside: be sure to take a coat in the summer, it’s bitter cold from the air conditioning.

Outstanding Doctor and staff. I can’t imagine dealing with my vision issues without Dr Vitales expertise.

My cataract surgery was botched. Malpractice laws in Utah are so antediluvian, no lawyer would touch my case in Utah, New York or Wisconsin.I ostensibly had the surgery to improve my reading vision. Unfortunately for me, my near vision was made worse and my distance vision improved marginally. I basically cant do a thing without multiple lenses; reading glasses, medium vision glasses, and distance glasses. Before the surgery I just needed distance lenses. To make matters worse, the clamp used on my eye caused nerve damage, and my eyelid is permanently swollen, making me look more weird than usual, because my left eye appears smaller than my right. The plastic surgeon at the Moran told me insurance wont pay for surgery, because the damage doesnt meet the insurance companies measured threshold. But it was the surgeons fault.Remember, the laws in the Beehive state make it almost impossible to sue a doctor for malpractice. I saw a friend in NYC, who is a world class Neuro-Opthamologist at Columbia Presbyterian, who told me it was just a screw up, and I have no options to fix things. He knew several of the physicians at Moran, and he was surprised they messed up my simple surgery. Their excuse was I have dry eyes. Then, they shouldnt have advised the surgery in this desert like climate. Please be aware that lovely buildings, with a fabulous view, do not make the physicians world class. If you need surgery, go to one of the best hospitals in the country. You should know the names: Johns Hopkins, Sloan-Kettering, Columbia, NYU, The Mayo Clinic, Northwestern, etc.
