You know how dentists have always a reputation of making people suffer? Well, Dr Sorbonne and his staff are here to erase that reputation. I came here for a dental cleaning, and Michelle (the hygienist) was so nice to me, she took the time to deep clean my teeth. Was very attentive, kept asking if I had any discomfort. I am 7 months pregnant and kept that in mind while I was in the chair.The front desk staff was also very welcoming and kind.And finally doctor Sorbonne is the kindest dentist I’ve ever met.He was wearing a mask but you could tell he was always smiling. He came for an examination after the dental cleaning and told me everything I needed to know, and provided explanation when needed.Definitely recommending them to family and friends.

I have to tell you, my experience with Dr. Sorbonne was absolutely lovely- which is saying something because I got two more crowns!The office and support staff was so friendly and accommodating. They made sure I was comfortable (gave me a pillow and offered a blanket!), and they were quick and efficient.I was able to comfortably eat without pain the same day, which I cannot say for the previous work of the other dentist.I will only go to Dr. Sorbonne from now on!

Before I met Ralph, I had really awful baby teeth. He saw me through braces and repaired my teeth through mostly all cavities which are now spectacular healthy adult growing teeth. Because of Ralph I seriously enjoy and look forward to my dental cleanings and hard repair work that is needed on my teeth! I have never felt pain and when I have even felt the slightest he is so generous to make sure I am numb to keep furthering the work. INCLUDING!!!!! His amazing, personal staff!!! They are so so understanding, personal, bright, really truly caring about you, your family and the experience! They remember you and the person you are mostly every time you enter or call.The environment and cleanliness is such a cozy, modern small home like vibe! They don’t have the typical dental office like smell, they smile, the staff all know and love one another! They work together.They are SO honest and gentle and pleasing!!! Essentially no waiting time. Underwent some fairly extensive procedures efficiently and effectively. All were respectful and concerned about my well-being during the procedures. Pain control was not an issue...Ive always had good experiences with his local anesthesia administration and efficacy!

I have been a patient of Dr. Sorbonnes for approximately 20 years. The office is run professionally and his staff are skilled and friendly. My recent visit was for a checkup and cleaning and not only did Patty do an excellent job, but I also felt safe and comfortable as the COVID precautions that have been implemented are appropriate and, according to the recommendations of the CDC and infectious disease experts, effective.

Beware of unnecessary services they try to sell you!I went to Dr. Sorbonnes office twice for routine cleanings during the pandemic, as my regular dentist was only seeing emergencies. The first time I went they told me I had no cavities that needed to be filled, but Dr. Sorbonne urged me to schedule visits for two crowns on teeth that had had fillings in the past (#15 and #18) -- and this was WITHOUT doing any x-rays that demonstrated any decay in these fillings. I declined.The second time I went, I was due for my annual bitewing x-rays. The cleaning went well, and I was told I had no cavities, but when Dr. Sorbonne examined me he named two different teeth than six months before and said they needed to be crowned (#2 and #31). He even had the audacity to phrase this like all those crowns you need are going to make me a lot of money. I guess #15 and #18 had somehow healed themselves and no longer needed crowns. There was again no evidence of decay on the x-rays, and no cavities when the hygenist probed. On #31 he claimed my filling was big, deep, and leaking. I went back to my regular dentist a few months later for an emergency on a different tooth, I asked her to look at #31 too and she said there was only a small, shallow filling in that tooth (we reviewed the prior bitewing x-rays together) and it wasnt leaking. She didnt think I needed crowns on 2, 15, 18, or 31.This office is nice for cleanings, and they have good availability and a friendly staff. But PLEASE get a second opinion somewhere first if Dr. Sorbonne pushes you to crown teeth that dont even have cavities or findings of decay on x-rays. Im no dentist, but Im a fairly informed patient with a dental professional in my family.

I have gone to Dr. Sorbonne for years. He has always been very professional and caring. I have never had the sense that he would recommend an unnecessary procedure, as I have at some other dental offices. His staff is fantastic. I would highly recommend.

Dr Sorbonne became my wifes dentist when his father retired. She said she would never change dentist. But when he retired, she went to his son, who turned out to be just as talented as his father. She talked me into trying him a few years back, and although I dont like driving from Davis County to Foothill Blvd in SLC, I too am hooked. I have all the confidence in his ability, from crowns to bridges to implants, etc. When we move to St George, Im planning on continuing seeing him. I want a dentist that I can trust and one who has all my confidence.

Best ever! Did not like any dental work, as a young men. I am his patient since 93, and appreciate every visit, every work done is top notch. I recommend without any hesitation!

Best dentist office there is!!! The staff are great, and the dentist was so understanding and helpful. I used to have the biggest fear of going to the dentist, the hygienist went out of her way to make me feel better along with the staff, and In the end I felt so comfortable. The dentist repaired bad work someone else had done and at a fraction of the cost. It is quite a drive for me to get there but we’ll worth the 90min excursion.

Happy I could just walk in. Firm could have been provided online in advance so didn’t have to touch pen used by others.

Painless procedures and Ive never had a problem with fillings falling out like others have mentioned, and believe me, Ive had a ton. Had a root canal and didnt feel a thing. When I went to Sorbonnes office years ago, I got perfectly good cleanings and attentive care. The office was neat and I recall the hygenists being kind. I also got a lot of fillings. Now that Ive moved on to other places and other dentists, Ive had other dentists tell me that some of these fillings were on spots so small that they should not have been filled, and should instead have been monitored.One very small and unnecessary filling was also done poorly - I remember this filling distinctly because it hurt for weeks afterwards- and I had to get it redone just so that it wouldnt cause more problems. I cant speak to everyones experience here but now in retrospect wonder if I should have gone elsewhere.

Jana, my dental hygenist, is the best I have ever been to. Front office staff, Geneal and Sara, take care of anything I need efficiently and with a smile. The two crowns he did on my teeth ended up needing $1000 root canals. He just kinda shrugs his shoulders like he doesnt give a damn about my health. I deeply regret seeing this dentist.
