I have been going to 3rd South Dental and enjoy the service they provide. Their dental hygienists are friendly and gentle. On my last visit, Vanessa, was my hygienist and I was impressed with how sensitive she was with cleaning and flossing my teeth. I left feeling better about the health of my teeth than I originally came in with.

Great staff from Dr. Call to dental assistants to receptionists. All are so.skilled that you barely know they are working in your mouth. Everyone is always pleasant and very attentive to your needs. I had a dentist I went to for decades and when he retired I worried if I would be able to someone who I was as comfortable with. Since my first visit my experience has been supremely positive. Dr. Andrew Theurer and staff are incredibly amazing, knowledgeable, professionals, kind and compassionately caring. They are quick to our needs and most importantly treated us like family. Shannon my hygienist has been so impeccably excellent in maintaining our dental issues. I can’t thank them enough for all their wonderful services. Hands down!

Dr. Drew Theurer is fantastic with kids!! In and out for a cavity filling in about 20 minutes. He came down to my 8 y.o. grandsons level. Explained everything that he was doing in easy to understand terms. And was courteous and professional. You cant find better. Highly recommended!!

This is a good place to go for the dentist. They are understanding, and do there best to get you in if you have a dentist emergency. Dr. Thereur is the dentist that I see, and he has helped a lot withy teeth.

Drs Theurer and Call are very caring and answered all my questions. Shannon, dental hygienist is really great! She is very gentle and explained exactly what she was doing. Her deep cleaning has really improved my gum health. The office staff is friendly and does a fine job 😊.

I have been going to 3rd S Dental for 13 years after a friend referred me. Dr. Theuer became my dentist when Dr. Ludlow retired. Dr. T is very friendly and professional. He always makes me feel very comfortable at my appointments when I have anxiety. He has helped me through numerous dental issues- my bottom retainer coming unglued, a crown falling off that needed to be re-glued on (luckily I didn’t swallow it!), filling some cavities at times and whitening my teeth. I had a very memorable experience recently with his hygienist Vanessa. She did an excellent job cleaning and polishing my teeth. I was very nervous and she communicated the whole time with me to let me know what she was doing. I was VERY impressed. In the time I have been going to 3rd South Dental, they have completely remodeled their office and they use the best technology for X-rays, etc. Their front office staff is also very knowledgeable and friendly. I highly recommend 3rd S Dental, Dr. Theuer and his team!!!

Dr Theurer and his team do a great job of getting you in and taking care of your oral and dental needs quickly. There was virtually no wait and everything was done and I was on my way in 30-minutes. I highly recommend them and their expertise along with great customer care and service. Thank you!

The staff was wonderful. I needed to bring my granddaughter with me, who is almost 3 years old, and everyone was so kind and patient as she decided which bouncy balls she wanted from the treasure drawer.

Dr Theurer was concerned about any discomfort I might be feeling. He kept asking if I was OK. I never did feel any discomfort. He is an excellent Dentist.

Third South Dental has been very good to work with in meeting our dental needs. The staff is very friendly and Dr. Theurer and Dr. Call are both very skilled and caring dentists.

Ive been going to 3rd South Dental for 20 years. I see Dr. Andrew Thuerer or Dr. Call, for all my dental needs. Their friendly staff make going to the dentist a very positive experience. Theres nowhere else Id choose to go.They do almost everything there, cleaning, fillings, uncomplicated root canals and crowns, implants and PRF/PRP bone grafting using your own blood for superior results.Given the wide array of services, Id recommend them for almost any dental problems or prevention. And they are very good at getting you in to be seen for painful dental emergencies.

I was a little skeptical, because I had been with Dr Theurer for 30 yrs, but all went well will see how things go.

Dr. Call did an excellent job on my dental implants.

They are all so nice, compassionate, and honest. I also had the same dental insurance for years and when I switched to this dentist realized how overcharged I was at my old dentist 🤬 but not at 3rd south dental! The place is clean and safe. Even before covid, they never overbooked and you never had to wait for the Dr long. Love these people!

A Great Dental Practice!I honestly do recommend them to friends and family. Ive never before had a Dentist that I love, its always just been a fact - this is who I go to etc... but these guys are by far the best practice Ive ever gone to.The dentists and hygienists are both knowledgeable, skilled, and friendly. They will take the time to explain things to you and give you the information you need to weigh your options and make an informed decision. Ive never felt up-sold with something that wasnt necessary or could wait. The front staff is friendly and informed as well; everybody in this office will take the time to explain things and answer questions.I did not have insurance last year but still wanted to take care of my teeth, so I went here regardless. They were very helpful explaining my options and working out affordable and doable options for somebody who doesnt have insurance and needed to pay out of pocket. I really appreciated that. They made me feel legitimately cared about and valued as a client. I completely recommend this office for anybody looking for a dentist in the Salt Lake area.

Dr. Andrew Theurer is hands down the best dentist I’ve been to. Took great care of me and is more personable and kind than 99% of people. Great staff, very nice office, and got me in and out quick while still spending plenty of time with me and making me feel like all my questions were addressed. Can’t recommend him enough!

Great place!

Poor follow-through and lacking in patient understanding.Dr Thuerer was recommended to me by my periodontal specialist- I knew I needed a filling from my last dental exam from previous dentist, so I requested to get in for an exam prior to when I could get a cleaning and drove all the way to see him in the Salt Lake office saying that so hoped the filling could be taken care it prior to me delivering a baby. He assured me it could then told me he would have his staff call me to schedule after he had requested x-rays from my perio. They never called me, then when I called, they scheduled me with another provider. I ultimately wanted to see Dr Thuerer because he was the one who had given me the exam. And now he is five weeks out and I will have a newborn. I explained the situation but they are not willing to work with me. I am super disappointed with this experience
