What a lovely spot! Very clean and calming, with wonderful staff. I’ve gotten two massages there and periodically get my lashes lifted and tinted & brows waxed and tinted. On the high end, but great for an indulgent, healing self-care day.

I had a great experience at Basalt spa for my birthday. My massage was probably the best I’ve ever had, from Carly. My facial was also top notch. Haley was incredible, patient, kind, and took the time to explain everything to me. She also wasn’t pushy about me buying products which usually makes me uncomfortable when I can’t afford it. She helped me pick the top two and I left feeling wonderful.

This spa is not only beautifully designed and incredibly relaxing, but the staff is wonderful. Kelly was my massage therapist and she was absolutely wonderful. I was gifted a detox treatment from a friend and it was such a great experience. Kelly was warm and kind and made me feel cared for. She is very skilled at what she does and I was thankful for her attention to my needs. I will definitely be returning for another service!

With my combination skin, I have to be regimented when it comes to my daily skin routine. I have to give thanks to this company and especially to Erin, for the Purifying Facial. Amazing products long with proper education for using those products. Applause. It is worth the price of admission!

I rarely write reviews but today is an exception. I went in for my first facial in years and it was the best I’ve ever had. Jessica took all the best parts of those facials and combined them into one. I got the Purify facial with the revive add-on. She explained things as she went and even changed course on what she was doing as she inspected my skin. It was all tailored and wonderful. I left with the clearest face I’ve had ever really. I can’t recommend Basalt enough. I drove all the way up from Provo and was not disappointed. Will definitely be back again!

I have been having regularly scheduled facials with Erin and I probably dont look 20 years younger, but I sure do feel it! She has angels on the tips of her fingers that seem to know right where your face/shoulders/feet need the extra attention. If I could give 10 stars I would for Basalt but mostly for Erin!

I started with a full body exfoliation which was dreamy. I loved it! I then had a prenatal massage with Eden and it was the best massage I have ever had, hands down. It was so relaxing and stress-relieving. I finished the day with a facial and I left absolutely glowing. I cannot recommend this spa enough. Not only is the staff professional and kind, the ambiance of the spa is wonderful and allows you to truly relax.

I am so relaxed! Alayna could tell which muscles needed some tlc and was professional but friendly. Never been to one of these before but they never made me feel uncomfortable and I was never concerned. The atmosphere was great and the calming music added a great touch. Definitely going back!!

Today I had my first every facial purify treatment and didnt know what to expect. When you walk in Basalt itself definitely has the high-end feel to it in terms of atmosphere and great staff. But what prompted this review was the amazing purify facial treatment with Master Esthetician Erin M. I highly recommend you try and book her. Since this was my first treatment and I have some skin issues I really lucked out to have her because not only is she kind but she is incredibly knowledgeable and well-studied in all aspects of skin care. I was curious to learn some of the root issues of my skin problems, and simply learned things about my skin that I just didnt know before and that I had some habits that were bad for my skin.The service itself was fantastic and was everything youd expect from a high-end spa, and the service is just so so good (its way places like this are differentiated in the marketplace). My skin felt and looked so much better after one purify facial. But Erin went above and beyond and laid out a detailed skin fitness plan with recommendations and products and instructions on how to take control and achieve and maintain healthy skin. I regret not finding out about this place / Erin M sooner, I think it could have prevented skin issues/damage but I am so happy that I had this treatment with her and she used her skills and knowledge to create a tailor-made plan for me.THANK YOU ERIN M!!!!

I got a rejuvenate facial with a revive add-on. It was a WONDERFUL experience. Totally and completely pampered from the heated bed, to the hot towels that smelled so good, to the super luxurious products used. I came out floating and my skin looked glowy and beautiful. Will definitely be back.

I did the 30 minute exfoliate and 90 minute relax massage and it was incredible. Mozart did both services and my skin has never been smoother and the massage was the best I’ve ever had. The massage tables are also like laying on a cloud. 10/10 would recommend and will absolutely be back next time we are in SLC!

I have had countless massages over the years and none have measured up to my treatment from Kelsey! She smoothed out all the knots in my muscles and made my body feel like a million bucks! My husband bought me the To The Moon And Back package for my birthday and I was a little intimidated, its a higher caliber of pampering than Ive had before. But the moment I walked in I felt so comfortable, secure, and nurtured. I walked away feeling like I had literally lost weight. Kelsey was so kind, professional, and knowledgeable. I am so glad I found this place and I will certainly be returning!

My wife and I had different massages done and both left in a transient state of relaxed. We went to dinner and spent the whole time talking about how amazing the experience was. I have had plenty of massages that left me less tense and not feeling like I had wasted time or money. Basalt provided an experience that I cannot wait to treat my wife and I to again. We left in such a rejuvenated state emotionally I’m not sure it is something that could have a price tag associated with it. I can’t recommend basalt enough! I’ve been going here for about 2 years now. When I started, I was about to go on accutane because of terrible adult acne. Through the facials and personalized skin regimens at basalt, I’ve finally been able to manage my acne without intense medications. Erin has been a saving grace - she is so knowledgeable and always has personalized recommendations for me. I go in for the purify facial, but she caters it towards what my skin is in need of. It’s been so nice having someone on my side who can help guide me through the barrage of acne treatments and help me find things that actually work. Now I feel like I can’t go without that! In addition to the skin care, their facials are the most relaxing thing you could do. Everyone deserves one of these. They use steam, hot towels, aromatherapy, foot and shoulder massages, hot stones, and relaxing music with their facials. It has become my happy place 😌✨

I booked a massage last minute at Basalt, based on a friends recommendation. Steven was so great! We chatted about my needs and areas of concern before the service. He figured out the injury and my swollen muscles were caused by hiking. He really put me at ease and recommended what I could do after to help with recovery. I highly recommend this spa and Steven. I was impressed by the professionalism and service and have already booked another appointment with Steven.

I had a facial by Alyssa. I don’t get them often, and honestly I have a hard time finding someone I feel comfortable around. She was amazing. She has such such a soft tone of voice that relaxes you, and uses kind words. I usually always feel like people just try to sell you product JUST because it’s their job. Alyssa suggested products, but also explained why. Also, it wasn’t just her trying to sell, she also talked about making sure to drink water and other things to try to improve my skin. Alyssa is great! I will for sure go back!

This is my favorite place to go for facials in Salt Lake. All of the estheticians do a fabulous job! Basalt Day Spa is no joke! I recently went in for my second facial with Alyssa and she did a fantastic job. Ive had facials from different spas all over the world and the facials at Basalt are one of the best Ive ever had. The facility is fabulous and they have so many fun products that are fantastic for gift giving or just to get for your beautiful self. Dont walk but run to this spa you will not regret it!Oh and also the pricing is amazing. A 60 minute facial at the Montage Deer Valley spa ranges from $235-$250 compared to the 75 minute facials ranging from $100-$125. Im in love!!

Your experience starts when you open the door with the aromatic environment. My husband and I had the hot stone 75 min massage and it was the best ever! Our therapists Annie and Diane were fabulous. Everyone was so friendly and accommodating. Just an overall great experience!! We will be back for sure! I want one of those facials!

Kelsey is the best massage therapist who I have been coming to for years. I even drive an hour each way to come since I moved. You will not be disappointed. I love that they use hot stones with every treatment. I didnt want to get off the table for my next service it was so awesome. My next service was a Glow facial with Amber. Again, I was treated to hot stones and even massage on my face, neck, head, arms, feet, hands and legs. Seriously so lovely and my skin looked awesome afterward. Both services were great with energy movement which I love. They have such a great flow to both services. I cant wait to book again!

I had been traveling all week and was in need of a recharge. My first visit to Basalt will definitely not be my last! You can tell they take pampering to a whole new level from the moment you walk in. Their staff is incredibly knowledgeable and amazing at what they do. I was actually accidentally drooling during my massage it was so good. I did their Holiday special and my cranberry peppermint facial was just as festive as it was rejuvenating. I received a gift card for the Glow facial for an anniversary and ended up using it on my birthday. It was my first time at this spa and I was treated like royalty. The women running Basalt are so kind and genuine - Ill definitely be returning!As an esthetician myself, I love going in to a treatment that is very thorough and relaxing. The treatment I received was exactly that! The only thing that could have been better was warming up some of the products (with the steamer) so that they are warm once on the skin - some products were ice cold and that was a little surprising. I love Basalt Day Spa! Alyssa is an amazing aesthetician and Diana gives killer massages! I relied on her my whole pregnancy. Everyone here is so warm and friendly, it feels like Im at home when I walk in.

Oh my goodness Im so happy I found this place! I got a Glow Facial by Alyssa and it was heavenly! They have wonderful customer service, everyone was so helpful and sweet. I left feel refreshed, relaxed and rejuvenated! I bought the Rosemary Clarifying Serum they recommended and I cant wait to use it! I love the atmosphere of this place and that they use organic and local products a lot! Cant wait to come in again in a few weeks for my wedding facial!

My boyfriend surprised me with a couples massage. We did the Don’t Worry Be Happy package for my birthday. Our experience at Basalt was more than 5 star service. My boyfriend and I felt like we were in heaven. He has never had a professional massage or facial before; as we walked out he was blown away with everything Basalt did for us. Steven gave an exceptional massage and Alyssa also performed exceptional with our facials. We will be returning and I would recommend to anyone who is looking for relaxing retreat away from the stress of life. Well done Basalt. Well done.
