I loved my experience at Action Chiropractic, Dr. Ewell was able to help me!!! I have severe lower back pain to the point of not being able to even stand up. The staff were happy, kind, thorough and very helpful with my insurance issues and everyone knows what a joy they are to deal with. Dr. Ewell was very informative, gentle, and very patient with me and he told me the cost to expect on the very first visit, I never feel rushed nor leave without having all my concerns and questions addressed. I would highly recommend Action Chiropractic and Dr. Ewell to anyone, he is gentle, compassionate, honest and is an absolute miracle worker. Dr. Ewell is not just a great doctor, he is a genuinely great person, I don’t know about you but that matters to me!!

Dr Ewell shows that he has the best interest of clients, by attending continuing education classes on the weekend. This is to learn about the newest and updated treatments for his clients. This shows how much they care about knowing the most up to date information for their patients and truly have their best interest in mind.

I have had a number of experiences with Chiropractic over the years. They all left me with doubts about how it helps us with bad backs. The staff is so nice and helpful, with my appointments always on time and without waiting the adjustments and bed therapy only takes 15 minutes from my busy days. I have suffered with back problems for many years and have regained some motion and am thrilled about the potential in getting my back healthy again.Having the promotion they offer on initial visit did not cost me which gave me a no risk opportunity to get better. I am glad they had that or I would not of tried them and would not be getting better, thanks to the staff and Dr.!

DO NOT GO HERE!!! I want to start this review with I am a licensed insurance agent so I know how this is supposed to work. Anyway I was having sevier back pain so I contacted my insurance to find out which chiropractors are covered I found action chiropractic was an in network provider. I start seeing him and everything was fine until the 4th week. His receptionist called me and stated my insurance was not paying for hIs services, and that I now owe an additional $26 on top of my past visits and any future visits. I contacted my insurance to find out why they weren’t paying anything. They told me my copay of $25 is supposed to cover his services and nothing else should be out of my own pocket. I called his receptionist back and asked her what this additional $26 was about and she said your insurance only values his adjustment at $25 but he actually charges $51 per adjustment. That’s when I realized this place was bad. So I asked would it be cheaper if I didn’t lie on the bed she said no he just throws that in at no additional cost for his adjustment. I’ll tell you this as an in network provider he signed a contract with Regence stating he CAN NOT charge regence members more than the copay. So I decided to directly ask Dr. Ewell what was going on. Instead of trying to explain what was happening he dropped me as a patient and said “it gets to difficult when you use insurance.” So I asked okay what is the $26 I’m being billed for he said the therapy bed. I said you’re receptionist said that was no additional cost and that’s where the conversation ended. Please do not go here he does the exact same adjustments as the joint and for the price you can almost get 4 adjustments at the joint for 1 of his. You just won’t get to lie on a therapy table which you only do for 10 minutes.

The staff is friendly and kind. They know your name and have a smile for everyone. They take great care of all your needs and concerns. They have helped me so much throughout the years. I recommend them to everyone! Thanks so much to all the staff. They ROCK!

Trying to triple charge me on one appointment I have already paid and have proof of payment. not quality service.. pretty disappointed because I’ve actually recommended this place, knee i should have went with my gut on the reviews...

I called and made my first appointment and they asked for my insurance information on the phone, I.D number and all. When I showed up they made a copy of my card and did the x-ray and adjustment and all was fine. I asked if they needed my co-pay and they said theyd just get it the next time I came in. I showed up with my husband the next day and he sat us down and we immediately felt like we were buying a car. He kept quizzing us and after his whole lecture wanted us to buy a 1,500 dollar contract to fix my back!!!! We immediately asked about our insurance because we know we have awesome coverage. He then told us our insurance doesnt cover the visit we knew that was not true. We called our insurance to make sure and of course we were covered. We left and refused to sign a contract and pay the 1,500 dollars up front!!!!!! Thats just ridiculous. I’ll get my back adjusted when I feel I need it, no need to feel strapped down like that! A few days later we get a bill for $150 dollars! So me and my husband go back in there and the receptionist was so rude, unprofessional, and called us liars. I refused to pay since our insurance covers that 100%...well come to find out they dont take our insurance! The receptionist told us you should have known if we accepted your insurance, thats not our responsibility really then why did you ask for the I.D number and make a copy of my card?! Anywhere else would have told me immediately that they dont take our insurance! Thats the HONEST thing to do up front, who wants to pay full price when it could be covered somewhere else?! Ive never been denied anywhere before, our insurance is one of the largest companies in Utah. That place is a scam! They were so rude and unprofessional. They lied to us, theres a huge difference in your insurance doesnt cover and we dont accept your insurance BIG DIFFERENCE! Theres a wonderful chiropractor right down the street, do your research!!!

I have had a great experience. Everyone is friendly and I have been able to greatly improve since visiting their Center. I would recommend it anyone needing a chiropractor.

I have been coming to Action for several months and it has helped me tremendously with.my neck and back. The staff is wonderful and so freindly and accommodating. I highly recommend them. They are wonderful.

Action Chiropractic has truely helped me with my back pain. I had back pain for years and it started to travel down my legs and cause me numbness. I walked over to a booth at the west valley womens conference entered a massage drawing and was introduced to Action Chiropractic. I have been suffering from pain running from my left shoulder down to the left little toe. I have been treated as a clsoe friend by all the staff, great front desk team. Dr.Ewell Has been clear in communicating the issue, the treatment and is efficient. I recommend action chiropractic to any one.

After hurting my back I was given Dr. Ewells name and number that turned to be one of the best gifts I have ever been given. Just a few treatments and I was back to working and playing hard. That.place is a SUPER SCAM...Dont bother with this place...Brian did more damage than good ...He kinked my back and I wanted to discontinue.He sent my account to collection without sending me a single bill...He charged four times the amount and wouldnt budge...

I had lower back pain so much I regularly couldnt sleep and had trouble moving in the morning. I have no problems with either any longer.

Over priced for the service they provideYou get your neck and back popped and then you lay on a bed with a back roller on it for 10 minutes. Dont waste your time going here.

WOW, my life changed! I was involved in a rear-end collision in 2010 which left me with little and tingly feeling in my leg and extreme pain in my lower back. After dealing with the medical doctors, Physical Therapist and prescription meds with very little relief, my co-workers suggested Dr. Ewell. After my first visit, I felt a difference however, the best results came after my 5th visit when my co-work pointed out I wasnt complaining as much... I started to take note and really realized my pain was going away and I started getting back on track! THANK YOU Dr. Ewell, for giving me my life back....and it’s getting better Yippie!
