It has been a while since I have been this in love with my haircut (which was a really good value compared to other places in town!!). Megan did such an amazing job and clearly put so much care into what I wanted out of my hairstyle. Plus, she is just a super fun person.

I cant say enough about Meg and the coloring and styling she does for me every time. I dont trust anyone else with my hair. She does it best. My hair is long and fine and she keeps it healthy and blonde for me. She delivers every time and I am so glad to have her.

Megg is absolutely incredible, and always makes my hair look amazing. I often will go in and just ask her to do what she thinks is best, because she knows what will look good (even when I won’t take all the time to style it on my own). She is extremely talented, professional, and makes the experience feel like a day at the spa.

Megan Hansen has been doing my hair here for over a year now, and I love my experience every time! The salon is a cute little house that was converted into a salon on 11th east. Megan is so sweet, and easy to talk to. I always walk away with exactly what I hoped for, and I love that she uses Kevin Murphy (it leaves my hair soft, and smelling so good!)

Megan Hansen is one of the best out there! Shes laid back, easy to work with, has a great eye, and makes sitting in a chair with sharp objects pointed at your head a lot of fun. While I had been going to a barber pre-COVID, I grew the hair out and figured Id try having someone who styles longer hair work with the mop I grew in 2020. I will be making a stop in her chair a regular thing. I appreciate that Shear Excellence took precautions entering the salon and making me and the other clients feel safe in an immaculate environment.

I’ve seen Meg for years and followed her to this Salon. She is amazing and has made my hair my best asset! I get compliments on my color constantly and people tell me I must have a great stylist. And they are right! I am so grateful I found Meg and she makes my day brighter and I feel beautiful whenever I leave her chair.I also really appreciate the precautions they have taken during Covid. I feel totally safe and like they are going above and beyond to keep everything sanitized and healthy for everyone.Honestly I could not recommend Meg enough and I have complete trust in her with my hair!

What I had wanted was my greys covered and some blond steaks, my natural color is a dirty blond. She was able to bring the balance back to my hair, color and cut it exactly how I wanted it!! I was so excited to finally find the perfect hair stylist.I highly recommend Meg for all your styling and waxing needs!! Shear Excellence is a great local salon nestled in the neighborhoods -it has a nice open concept and lots of natural light. Ive been going to Meg Hansen for years and would recommend her to anyone! I always leave happy! Meg also cuts my daughters hair and makes her LIFE every time we go.

Ive been getting my haircut at Shear Excellence (by Nicole) for almost a decade. She does such a great job that I get regular inquiries from strangers on who cuts and dyes my hair -- many of my referrals from those inquiries are now also long time customers. She is a great person all around and so talented. The salon is beautiful and all the hair stylists are friendly. Recommend 10/10. Five stars. Go there!

Ask for Megan! When I moved here I was scared to try a new salon because I get nervous about salons messing up my hair. Megan made me feel super comfortable and was personable from the start! She’s quick so you aren’t sitting in a chair for hours like other salons, and it’s great quality! Highly recommend. Will be going back in VERY soon

I have been going to Megg for 5 or 6 years and have followed her from salon to salon. Shear Excellence is where I hope she stays. The space is so calming and has a light open feel, I am comfortable to the moment I walk in. Megg not only talked me out of bangs for the 100th time (thank you!) but she took the time to color my hair lighter, doing it in stages and taking great care to get it the perfect shade. I dont know what I would do without her.

This is a beautiful full service salon with talented stylists and friendly receptionists. One of the best perks of this place is the beverage options available while you wait. I cannot speak to the level of talent for each and individual stylists, but Daniel is incredible. If the standard for stylists is such that Daniel is there, then the other stylists must be amazing as well.

Went to Jenne James for permanent eye makeup...brows and eyeliner. It was a horrible experience! My brows came out obviously uneven and one was darker than the other. The eyeliner was also uneven. People that knew me were making comments about bad and uneven they were. My brows were sore for a month, probably because Jenne drew blood. Thankfully I found a very skilled individual in St. George who was able to undo the damage and make my brows and eyeliner look great and made the color corrections as well. And I found out that you should never bleed when getting permanent makeup. --Sarah U.
