If negative numbers were available I would certainly give them a lower score.I noticed that every state has multiple openings for nursing positions with this company. After working for them I can understand why no one stays long. I have never witnessed such Incompetence and vicious manager is in my 35 years of nursing. As my mother used to tell me, you can afford to do much better than this.

MacKenzie, my Amedisys nurse, was so exceptionally skilled, talented, & compassionate that she played a significant role in getting my entire life back on track after I underwent a very unexpected surgery that was the first consequential health issue I had ever faced at a very tough time in my life. Having recently retired from the US Border Patrol at a young age, following years living in extraordinarily arduous and isolated conditions, I returned home to Maryland and was already struggling mentally. So frankly, I was very much dreading the idea of home health care as I was depressed and rather uninterested in being around people . However, McKenzie made the entire 3 month treatment process an extremely positive one, as her unique and extensive skill set combined with her charisma and compassion benefitted me immensely. I would highly recommend Amedisys as a company overall, as well as MacKenzie specifically as she was by far the most talented & prolific nurse I have ever encountered.
