I see a lot of mixed reviews but this location was great. Even with them telling me I have the coronavirus and can’t leave google reviews for 10 days, I was impressed with their speed and service. Rapid tests are in high demand and I did have about an hour wait, but that’s too be expected. Once I got called in I wasn’t there for longer than 30 minutes. 15 minute results and they sent me on my way. Very kind front desk staff and nurses. I hate the doctors and this one made me feel comfortable.

Needing an urgent care center late in the day in Salisbury I found this location. The waiting room was clean (and cleaned again while I was waiting). Currently the chairs are properly social distanced and masks are required. The hound lady at the desk was pleasant and straight forward. The intake nurse, radiographer and PA were all very pleasant and took the time to listen and care for me properly. I am pleased with my experience and will go again if needed.

I went to get my daughter a rapid Covid test. We had to wait in the car for them to call or text when ready. I waited in my car for 2 hrs. I called twice and kept being told she was next on the list. Finally I went in and stood there for 15 minutes just to be told that they had already called for her. “When” I never got a text or call. And I gave the receptionist my number. Also the bathroom in the waiting area was out of order. 😡

One of the staff/nurses is very unhelpful and unkind. Not recommend if you are not fluent in English.I had to schedule Covid-19 diagnostic test appointments for my parents, recently exposed to Covid-19 positive co-workers. The staff or nurse fatally TURNED AWAY my parents only because they couldn’t speak English fluently. I even asked if I can translate them by phone, she rejected it. The only thing they needed was damn tests. I am deeply disgusted by this, indeed. The one pointed out to me was what if my parents were sick. Are you going to reject patients because of a language barrier? (I could translate them by phone)Please look for another urgent care if you think of yourself or your family.

The wait was a little long but once I was seen I understood why. The nurse that I saw was pleasant and very knowledgeable. She performed all tasks very professionally and timely. Compared to other emergent care places I have been to, Urgent Care was a lot more thorough. Thank you for helping me with my illness and making this unpleasant time a little more tolerable. I must say also that the receptionist closest to the front door was not very pleasant and just rude for my one question to her.

Got a call from staff within 5 mins. She got all my information (insurance, dob, etc). The Dr. Video chatted me at my scheduled time of appt.. He really took the time to get to know me and my symptoms. He sent over my prescriptions to my pharmacy and I had them in an hour. I would highly recommend them. I couldn’t get right into my regular Doctors office so I preregistered online for a visit the other day at ExpressCare. When I got there I signed in, they took my info and I was back being seen by a spunky and very sweet young lady within 15-20 minutes. She took vitals, did a throat swab and did a (painless) rapid Covid test, which were all negative. I had an X-ray on my chest, which was quick and easy, and then I seen the Doc, who was also very friendly and concerned about my condition. Turns out I had Bronchitis, and coulda very well became Pneumonia quickly if I had waited any longer. I was prescribed the right meds that got me back on track and back to work within a couple days. Thanks to the wonderful staff there at ExpressCare. So happy you were there to help when my Doc couldn’t.

They say they close at 7pm but wouldn’t take us back at 6:15pm while there was no one in the waiting room, and one car in the parking lot. We tried to sign in online and it said there was a 6:15 appt available but the site wouldn’t let us complete registration. We explained this and my husband showed this staff member the hives up and down his arms and on his neck. When asked to speak to a manager, the staff member told us to go to the ER and write a complaint if we have a problem. If they aren’t going to accept a walk in almost an hour before they close, then maybe that needs to be articulated more clearly in their hours for a WALK IN clinic, or just say you close at 6pm.

Worst care. The wait takes longer than the emergency room. The policy is inconsistent, some people allowed to sit in waiting rooms while others have to wait outside. Review №37

This place was really great and attentive. Keep in mind that this is a walk-in care facility, so first come first serve. You can be waiting as long as you have been waiting in a hospital emergency waiting room (3+ hours). However, because I know this is the case, bring your charger, bring a snack, and get a cup of coffee if you have to (there’s a WAWA across the street) They have very comfortable chairs to sit on, two TVs to watch from, and if you want to wait in your car (or if you have to) they will send you a message letting you know when to come in. As for when you get called, they will try and pronounce your name as best as they can and have a nurse there going over the problem and your symptoms in a private room. They try and diagnose the best that they can, but honestly sometimes it’s a trail and error kind of thing. So if one medication still doesn’t work, don’t panic, let them know either follow this up with your regular doctor, or if you don’t have one let them know so they can try a different approach for your problem and maybe even give you more advanced testings. Hope this helps 👍

First, I respectfully called in at 615 to see if they were taking patients before they closed at 7. The lady on the phone, Megan, was rude but told me to come in as long as it’s before 7. However I was pleased how nice the lady at the front desk was. She even told Megan to cheer up. I would not have come in tonight if I could stand the discomfort another day. I had left the gym before coming in so I was really dehydrated from sweating and couldn’t pee in a cup, but I did try for quite some time. The door was left open the whole time I was being seen. An elderly couple walked by and the man was mocked after he left. The nurse practitioner was very pleasant and understanding. If it wasn’t for her and the two younger girls who came in to ask questions and gave me my discharge papers I would have been extremely upset. Unfortunately I will not be visiting this location again.

Terrible service and experience.Took my girlfriend to her appointment 10 minutes early for check in, she waited 30+ minutes after her scheduled time and still didn’t get called in. They had a waiting room of individuals when we went in and my girlfriend texted me as a few of them just walked out due to the wait. The receptionist received a phone call about COVID testing, then after the phone call, began to complain to a different lady about the individual who called. That’s very unprofessional, especially in an urgent care setting with the pandemic being a serious and frequent problem. The other lady whom the receptionist was talking to then stated that she thinks she may have strep throat, and how she’d rather have COVID than strep. Then continued to take her mask off. That is also extremely unprofessional. COVID is not to be taken lightly, and taking off their mask is a direct violation of the companies restrictions and guidelines.

Where do I begin with this nightmare of a place? Sarah, the NP was great. Afterwards, not so much. My son had a problem with his medicine and couldnt take it. While waiting for a return call (that never came), the medicine went bad and when I called back hours later, they refused to refill it (an antibiotic, mind you, not a narcotic, for instance). I couldnt even speak to the PA b/c they were too busy seeing patients. I couldnt even get his medical records - his PCP had to request them directly! I plan to report this incident and total negligent experience to corporate headquarters and my insurance company at the very least. If his condition does not improve or worsens, you can believe this will be taken to the State Medical Board. Whoever was calling the shots over there today should be ashamed that because of their unwillingness to listen (or even TALK to me), my 5 year old son may not get the medicine he needs today. Guess its only URGENT when its convenient for them.

Doctors are great. But I have a problem with the fact that Maryland health department says you can be tested .But that is not so I was directed upfront and to Amber she will make the appointment for the test when I got out front I was told I had to go to Middletown Delaware almost 2 hours away and I live in Maryland. There is nowhere in Maryland or the health department or the hospital for you to just get a random test because you want it or you need it or you’re at high risk with your job you have to go to Delaware. Right here in Fruitland today May 22 there’s a drive-through clinic. Express care knew nothing about it also today through Nanticoke memorial they also had a clinic right in Seaford a drive-through. I have no idea why I had to go through these hoops why these clinics or not Or why doesn’t express care seek out these clinics to tell you to go closer I was blown away. I did call the hospital and they will only give you the test if you have one or more symptoms because I was told that they didn’t want to waste the test on somebody that didn’t have all the serious symptoms, even though I had a doctors order RX. So I’m just here to let everybody know in Maryland you just can’t walk in and get a test like the health department and news says it’s like nobody even helps you figure out where to get a test it’s like they all just act like they don’t know and I had to seek it all out myself just letting you know Salisbury.

I have a fairly complicated medical history, and I have had to use Salisbury Immediate Care quite a few times for various issues, from infections, to diabetic issues, to broken bones. Everytime Ive been there, they have showed more care than any ER doctor has EVER shown, and have had the SWEETEST dispositions, and great all around medical knowledge. They continue with their kindness, with follow up calls, and care. They check on you to make sure your treatment is working, and that youre feeling better. If youre not, they have you come back in, or call in a different medicine, anything to make it easier on you. I was amazed the first time, and remain amazed every other time I have gone in. I was given a Steroid and 2 weeks have gone by and Im still sick! I guess Ive gotta go somewhere else to get an antibiotic. And on top of that the doctor said he was unsure if I was contagious or not!

Clean. Short wait time. Patient. Good listeners. Liked the PA.
