My son has lung problems (which he sees a lung specialist for ) he went to med express he was stuffed up and I had other concerns. When they checked him in his temp was 98.4 . They treated us like we were very contagious and wanted to do a Covid test for symptoms off his vitals. Didn’t even want to talk or examine him after I refused the Covid test . They put on the paperb( patient comes in today for a Covid symptomatic and fever . Wow he went to his pediatrician the next day ( not even concerned with Covid she was very upset with their diagnose) . Don’t go her if you need medical help every thing you have will be Covid . His temp since he was running a fever .

Very rude staff, nurse assistant was very rude disrespectful and brash. Felt as though she had zero patience as soon as I walk through the door. Treating me as if I was not competent at all. Very uncomfortable experience will not recommend to anyone and very abrasive care. Rude staff is very rampant there.

I came here to get stitches on my foot and received wonderful care from the doctor and staff. I was seen by the doctor almost immediately and they helped provide a doctors note to assist me with changing some upcoming travel plans. I came here one time previously with my father to get an IV, they were not able to provide the treatment at that time but were extremely helpful with recommending another option to help us avoid a long wait at the SRHC ER. Highly recommend!

The staff were very friendly and processed our admitting paperwork very quickly so that I could be seen in a very timely manner. The doctor was also friendly and showed genuine concern for my health needs. I am definitely spreading the word that this is a great place to go for quality care!!!

I visited MedExpress in Salina to have them check out a rash I was very concerned about. They misdiagnosed me as having an inflammatory rash and gave me steroids and yeast cream. They also told me that it was not contagious. The rash got worse and spread so I decided to get to a dermatologist and was told that it was bullous impetigo which is very contagious. I am highly upset because I work as a CNA at a nursing home and went to work over the weekend after being told by Med Express that I wasn’t contagious. So now I have to worry that hopefully I haven’t infected residents. 😞

So I just waited almost 2 hours with only one person ahead of me, to be treated by the ARPN like I was an irritant to her day. She entered the room and before even introducing herself stated “why would you think you have a sinus infection?” From her initial approach and further raising her voice and making me feel like I have no reason to be interrupting her obviously busy day (no one else was there in rooms or in lobby at 3pm), I will no longer recommend this place. This ARNP needs to have an education in bedside manner!

Went in with a lot of pain in the L leg shin area. I felt my service was great, and not a lot of wait time. I requested x-rays to make sure it wasnt a bone problem, to my relief it wasnt. I received a steroid injection and an RX for the same. I slept so good last nite, with no pain. I feel like a new person. I would highly recommend this Medical facility to anyone. Insurance was easy to do, and paid for everything. My husband Richard Baker went in the day before, and was given an X-ray, and a splint, he also said he is much better as long as he wears his brace. Again, I give High Regards to this clinic, and will not hesitate to refer anyone. Thanks again, Christina Baker 05/02/1949 :)

Make sure you call before you go! My husband was told to go there for a drug test and physical. Their plumbing was out and they didn’t have anyone on staff who was qualified to administer the physical. Why are companies using this place???

Usually have a good experience when one of our family have to go to med express. However, the last time was not so pleasant.Took my fiancé in for extreme eye and ear pain. The Dr. came in, asked a few questions then says “sounds like allergies”. I had to literally tell the Dr. to look at her eyes and ears. He did as requested and said he could not see anything in the eye and that the ears looked “perfect”. Gave her a steroid shot and prescribed steroid pills. The pain and pressure did not subside. She was in complete agony the next day. I finally had to take her to the emergency room not but 32 hours after being seen at Med Express. The emergency room looked at her ears and instantly said she had a massive ear infection. Gave her some antibiotic shots and prescription. We were able to get in and see her primary care provider that same day. Her Dr. said it was the worst ear infection she had ever seen. Enough so that there was a giant blood blister and a ruptured ear drum. Her Doctor was worried about the infection getting into the blood stream!I calmly went to Med Express the next day. I talked to the manager about the misdiagnosis and that I did not feel we should pay for something that obviously could not have been missed if the Doctor actually looked in the ear. She had to submit the complaint to her management in Wichita or Derby. The Head doctor that reviews the complaints called my fiancé about 2 weeks later. Asked her some questions that she could not answer because she was in so much pain at the time we went there, she could not remember much. She asked the doctor to call me and gave him my information. I never received a call from him and now they have denied the complaint and are charging us for the visit!I am no Doctor but I can surly tell you that with as much pain as she was in, and the extent of the infection by the time we got to a real doctor that knew what they were doing, there is absolutely no way that the infection was not visible in the ear at the time we were at Med Express. Not sure if we will ever go back to Med Express after this!Let me ask you his Med Express; If you took your car in to a dealer for an oil change and you find out that the oil didn’t get changed would you pay for it? No you wouldn’t! But you are still going to charge us! Hmmmm.... Ponder that!

My first experience was really good. This time not so much. He told me it was allergies but didnt see any infection. Unfortunately, the next morning I coughed up a bunch of green mucus which does show infection. They may need to check better. Luckily he did give me a prescription just in case but told me not to take it unless I got worse. I would say green mucus isnt good.

Wait time was okay, considering their main goal is just to get you in and out whether or not they correctly diagnose you or give you the right medication. I only saw a np as well. Whole system is a joke, if you want to get treated like a patient and not a costumer, go to the E.R!

I went in for an evaluation of a minor injury. I had never been there before, and the check-in process for new patients was quick and easy. Both the administrative and clincal staff members were all friendly, efficient and clearly competent. The diagnostic process, including my x-rays and the examination by the ARNP, were both quick and thorough, and the practitioner took the time to explain everything to me and to answer my questions. Because I needed some follow-up care and was unfamiliar with this area, I got the names and office locations of plenty of local providers. From the time I first walked in until my visit was finished took less than an hour. I hope that I never need their services again, but if I do, I would not hesitate to return, and I will recommend this facility to others.

Very short wait time. I disliked that they had to have a credit card for any incidentals uncovered by insurance. My copay was twice what StatCare charges. I did get in and out extremely quickly, but I only saw an APN. While the service was excellent, the facility was nice, its just a Hersey bar in gourmet packaging. I will probably not comeback.

I have gone for my asthma for a long time to this Urgent Care. I had one of the best experiences ever with Mrs.Connie. If I could have her as a primary I would be willing to drive to Wichita for her.I also have had the worst experience ever with Mrs.Srna. She felt it was appropriate to question what kind of job I had if I didn’t have insurance. She also made me feel extremely unwelcome. Dr.Shetlar had given me a sheet with primary care doctors and said I would save money using one, which was appreciated. Srna read that note and told me she wasn’t sure why I was still coming after more than a year and I shouldn’t be using an urgent care for asthma. Which, If you have ever ran out of an inhaler is in fact urgent. The differences between Connie and Srna are night and day. While Connie approaches it with a full heart and kindness Srna took every opportunity to belittle me. I will make sure to call in the future to see who is working first.

Wow! I was literally shocked to see Med Express had negative reviews. I have visited them numerous times over the past couple of years for my kids, my husband, and myself. I have ALWAYS found the staff to be friendly, kind, and efficient. I found it funny that people in previous reviews comment on being seen by nurse practitioners. Guess what guys? They work in the emergency room, StatCare, and your local doctors offices.. chances are that wonderful experience you had at StatCare or the hospital were compliments of an APRN or PA. I will never go to StatCare again and I greatly appreciate the fact they’re not directly owned or affiliated with the hospital. One last thing.. NEWSFLASH people- they do a lot of work outside of just “seeing” people- so when you go in and you think they’re just sitting there- think again. Everything they do/you say has to be documented. It’s healthcare. Be grateful that such nice, kind, and intelligent people can care for you. I’ll keep using MedExpress and will always recommend them to those that I know.

Wait time to check in was insane! Very unprofessional staff working up front. Walked in to an empty waiting room, with two patients exchanging information with the two receptionists on staff. I sat there for 18 mins while one of the fat heffers made small talk and joked with patient she was checking in. The other actually was called back while his father stayed and finished his check in! It’s a gutter clinic with gutter staff! After 18 mins I left, drive to stat care on Ohio, I was checked in and taking back in 6 mins!
