Back around March, I had spoken to a guy about the issues I was having. Mainly the vent blowing too cold of air and throwing the mask off off when I was able to fall asleep through it. He said there was a heating tube they could get me. I never received it.Then the recall. I registered it but heard nothing other than a filter could be rigged to by pass the issue of particles but I had to do it myself and it didnt fix the issue of fumes. I dont even know where to or how to do that. Finally got in to my doctor after a 2 month wait and felt like the issue with the cold air and nasal pillow hurting was solved.Nope! Its been a month and all I got was a rude message from Apria saying I was not in compliance and to call them to arrange pickup the equipment. So now Im out hundreds of dollars I paid towards the rent to own and zero help with making the equipment usable and safe.Thank goodness I have an old O2 machine I can self medicate on. I think I may have a CPAP I can buy from someone online. I wish I knew they could be bought used. It would have saved me all that money.

This company has charged me and my health insurance for 6 months after I had returned the device for CPAP treatment. I have never worked with a worst health care company and work at hospital locally. I highly recommend you choose someone else if you can to give your business to.

Hello. No one called me from Apria. I was told Nathan was going to call me but he never did, so I decided to give them a call. Someone answered and, I guess they didnt know they had answered, and I was a party to a conversation from a woman complaining about being interrupted by phone calls. For 2 minutes I called out to them. She just kept going on about how she was suspended in another state but this is what she loves to do, she just hates answering the phone. I hung up and called back only to get the answering service. I left a rude message and Im done with them. Dont go here.

I just want to recognize Nathan from Apria! He has helped me emencly! He has even brought me equipment personally. I understand that some of Aprias customer service can sometimes be below average. But all in all the Salem office has been there for me when I needed them. Thank you so much!

Literally the worst company ever. Im a nurse and know how this works. Tried to return a rented wheelchair when my husband was done with it, they didnt picked it up for a year, and continued to charge us, and still continue to 3 YEARS later. Have yet to get a straight answer out of them as to why a copy of the rental agreement that our friend signed for was not left with him (he house sat while my husband was in the hospital and was present when the equipment was dropped off). They continue to give us the run around to all our questions and have in general been incredibly inefficient and frustrating to deal with. 0/10 do not recommend.

Terrible customer service, VERY slow in filling the prescription.I walked into the office with a prescription in hand. They took a copy of the prescription and my insurance card and said it would take a day or two to get the insurance to approve the device and have it delivered. I called a couple of days later (all phone calls are routed to their national call center, you cant talk to anyone local unless you go into the office) and the person I spoke to said they couldnt find my information in the system. I pushed them and told them that I had left a copy of my prescription and insurance card in the local office and after a few minutes of looking they were able to find them in the system, but they had not been processed or had any action taken on them. They immediately put them into the system for processing and told me the device would be delivered in a couple of days assuming the insurance approved it. I wait the 2 days and call again and they cant find me in the system. Again, I push them and the look deeper and find it. They say it will be another couple days. I again call them and they cant find me in the system! After urging them to look again they are able to find it and say that the insurance couldnt approve the devise they have on hand and that they have to order a different brand but it will be there in a couple days. I again call back in a couple days and they put everything on the local branch saying its approved and the local branch has to deliver it. As I cant call the local branch (see above) I drive down there. I get there 15 minutes before closing and the front office is locked and no one responds to my knocking. I see the side door is open (big roll up door for delivery trucks) and so I walk over and stick my head in. A worker who is filling orders for delivery the next day asks if he can help me, I tell him the story and he calls his supervisor, gets him to approve a loaner device until the ordered one comes in. Long story short, the delivery department was great, EVERYONE else in this company hasnt got a clue. I will NEVER do business with them again.

When a customers asks you to come back please for the love of god come back at a better time, do not say lets just do it. If someone asks for you to come back its most likely because they do NOT have the time at that moment to take care of it. Also if you are delivering something early call first. Im disappointed.

Horrible Company to deal with. My insurance asked them to switch my rental of a CPAP machine & almost a year later, Apria says they refuse to do so. Contacted a person in their Documentation department who told us they had switched this to a purchase March of 2019.Billing will not for. I am being over charged & cannot get a straight answer from them (this is one problem I have with them. My next step is to get a Lawyer, but I ask anyone who is having similar problems to contact me about a possible Class action suit against them.

I have a CPAP from Apria. I spoke with them prior to delivery and specified which unit I wanted. They delivered the wrong one. Things turned much worse - they are billing me monthly for a CPAP instead of allowing a purchase which is costing far more money. Ive spent HOURS on the phone with them and my insurance company to allow a purchase. Apria agreed to let me purchase and cease monthly billing after a group call with insurance company. Theyre STILL billing me monthly and when called again, will not let me purchase. Im sick of the run around, lies, and fradulent billing practices. This company is an embarrassment, do not do business with them. Ive logged a BBB complaint and refuse to pay them anything for these outstanding monthly charges that shouldnt exist in the first place

I wish I could leave zero. This place messed up my dads deliveries about a year in a half ago. Now for my mom too. Ive been lied to and humg up on when I started getting upset. Looks like we will have to go meet them face to face again. Horrible company. Considering they are dealing with people who are having enough stress in their lives and their families you would think they would show some compaction. Wish there were more options for us to use.q

This company does NOT know how to function!!! I wont bore you with all of the details, I could write a book on my experience with them. 1st equipment rental was easy until it came to getting it returned and paid for. 2nd equipment rental turned to what I would call harrassment, texts, daily calls and vms to get it returned. All of the headache and harrassment for a grand total of $28.14 for both rentals.

Terrible customer service, it is extremely frustrating as a new customer to be talked down to. We are trying to get my husband’s CPAP started and they sent us the wrong equipment and now it will take two weeks or more to get what we need! Even when expressing disappointment in the company’s customer service they did not apologize or seem to express concern. It is very disheartening to deal with a company that does not take pride in their work/costumer service. I wish I could give them 0 stars.

Apria and it’s collection agency has been hounding me for over a year to pay a bill that was paid 2 years ago!!!!! So aggravating! I’ve documented payment (as has my insurance company) but they won’t update their records to reflect it and as a result a collection agency keeps barking at me and threatens my credit. I rented my machine for 3 months (June 2017 to September 2017) and paid it off but they kept billing me for another 7 months (until March of 2018) !!!. I’m going elsewhere even if it costs me more 😡😡😡😡. Two thumbs down! The left hand doesn’t know what the right hand is doing. Ugh!!! 😡😡😡😡Rick WadsworthPS. Any other respectable company would try to make things right at all costs to ensure a happy customer base. I HIGHLY doubt they will even try. If they do then I’ll remove my post. If not, it stays as a warning to other would-be customers to spare them grief.

If I could leave zero stars, I would. Someone from overseas calls with such a heavy accent that we cant understand them. When we call the local number in Salem, OR to talk to a CSR Supervisor, we again get someone overseas. When we ask to be transferred to the branch, they hang up on us. When we call Corporate, no one ever answers.I now have to issue a report to Medicare to be sure Apria doesnt bill for oxygen that was never delivered.Whatever has changed at Apria since I worked there, and we had real human beings answering the phones at the branches and helping patients, has destroyed the company. Avoid at all costs. There is zero customer service and zero corporate accountability.NORCO medical has local staff that speak and understand english who arent overseas, working from a script (like Apria does). I highly recommend them.

Very poor customer service and no follow up on charges. Takes forever to get through on the phone. Extremely disappointed in the service. Not helpful at all. Will not use this company again.

Received an order confirmation on 3-15-2017 that Apria had received our order for my patient. 6 days later had not heard anything from the company (4 of those were business days). When I called the company I was given the run around. I was told they had already reached out to us for additional information they needed, but they couldnt provide a date or time that that had been sent. 2 hours later I received a fax from the company saying my patients insurance is not even accepted by Apria. I should have been told immediately that the insurance was not accepted, and I should have been told that information when I called. Very disappointed.

The problem with this company is they outsource their customer service to call centers in the Phillipines. You can can spend an hour or hour and half on the phone for a problem or order and they still get it wrong. The customer service reps really do not understand English well enough to be doing this....and know nothing of the products or services. The folks in the local offices are great, but you cant talk to them unless you are face to face with them. The CEO should be fired for allowing this nonsense.

They promised to deliver a hospital bed, but when it didnt show up on the day promised, I called them. They said they didnt have a bed available -??? OHSU in Portland had made the initial arrangements for a bed, but they could do nothing to rectify the problem, when Apria didnt deliver as promised. From my experience and the reviews, I think this is one fraudulent company that should be shut down.

Cant get any answers on our bills. The system they provide is cheap. It does not work like the System one. It dries out the mouth and nose even if the number of the humidifier is high. Have to wait 25-30 mins on the phone to get a representative from the main branch and then they dont know anything. Too bad Medicare excepts them. It is all money down the drain.

Im not surprised by the one-star reviews on Google. Rather than bill my insurance first, then sending me a bill for the remainder, they started off by charging me full price for the supplies, then they got paid for their part by the insurance company (essentially double-dipping)... and THEN they waited a month for me to request a refund of what the insurance company paid them. Also, they have very poor customer service at their physical office location in Salem; the receptionist seemed shocked when I came through the door, and not only didnt help me get the supplies I needed, she was a hindrance.
