Put up some signage - Went to get a COIVD test, waited in drive thru only to be told that we needed to be in lane 1. You should have been told that, we were not, not by the text or emails. Just put a sign up before the drive thru, COVID Testing Lane 1 Only, issues solved. I realize staffing is short, testing volume is high, and I am fine with that. Lack of communication just causes unneeded frustration on both customer and employee sides.

I have tried to csll for 3 days straight. I have been put on hold,, repeatedly for 2 hours. Sadly this is where by dr called a RX into. I wanted to see the information onthe medicine. No one ever answered. I finally had to send someone to the store. I DO NOT RECCOMEND THIS PHARMACY. THEY DONT CARE

Literally only went here because everywhere else was closed and it was dire I got my prescription within 24 hours. They dont take my insurance anymore so I brought and signed up for 5 different things that told me the cost could be as low as $6...I paid over $50 ultimately even though they accepted whatever I could muster to bring out. This is pathetic both as a business and especially morally, takes some real soulless grifters to do what they do with a straight face. Dont go here if you care about your own money

Staff is super personable, the manager Chris was able to help me with pulling up my transaction receipt even though it was very busy. I had lost it and needed it for work reimbursement purposes.The pharmacy staff is PHENOMENAL ...literally best pharmacy staff PERIOD. I have been struggling with an autoimmune issue and they ALWAYS make a point to ask how I’m doing and if things are getting better. They literally make you feel like you’re family and I would never switch pharmacies, even If the prices were better elsewhere.Yes they’re busy, but that’s only a result of people wanting to come to this location and not others due to the staff.

3-3-21 pharmacist on duty. I could see if you had meds from different doctors to ? them..but meds from same doctor and if you look in history have been given for years.You will deny the patient and Youre going to contact the doctor and correct him? Funny part is that this happens over and over?Only thing you do is annoy customer(not your patient) and Im sure the doctor also.

I have been coming to this location for years and they do an excellent job. The store is always clean, well stocked and the employees are friendly. Lately it has been a bit slower on service, but the amount of work these people do is amazing !!!!

Once again, issues with the pharmacy. It has been one week since I submitted a refill, and all I have seen in the app and online is that the order is delayed because they are reviewing insurance. It does not take a week to review insurance. I called on Monday (4 days after the refill was submitted) and they still hadnt contacted me regarding any issues, or even contacted my doctor or insurance company. If I hadnt called I never would have learned about what the issue was because they never notified me with any details. When I did call in I got routed to a call center instead of my pharmacy, and that person didnt even see that a refill was available, so they were of no help at all, and got disconnected when they tried to transfer me to my local pharmacy. When I did finally talk to a pharmacist they told me that it was an issue because the refill was for one month but the insurance will only fill a 3 month prescription. At that time they still hadnt contacted anyone regarding the issue, and I still dont know if they did because it has been another 4 days without hearing from them and the same status message is still sitting on my refill prescription page. The pharmacy is of no help at all, and has been nothing but issue after issue since I have been forced to switch pharmacies due to a change in insurance. I wish I could go back to my previous pharmacy where I never had any issues and the staff were polite and helpful.

I been to this Walgreen several times and I have had a great experience thanks to this young lady her name is Daniela she works at the beauty department. She is very hands on when Im looking for a product or even recommending products. She always tells me about the sales they are having. Love the customer service I get and the help she provides. She really goes on and beyond to try to help you. I give her a 5 Start for her amazing job. Keep up the great work Daniela.

Walgreens is usually great. This location has been consistently slow in the pharmacy. This is a regular occurrence, but my last time there AFTER waiting in line, I had to wait over one hour in the store for them to figure out how to enter my insurance in the system to pay for my prescription which was already ready. The manager who told me he would call me up when it was figured out went on break and no one called me up after the first hour, I had to go through the line several times to check up on it, the last time through after at least 75 minutes of waiting I was told, oh ya, its ready, no one called you? (I had been standing near the pharmacy window the entire time, never left the store.)

My experience at this Walgreens has been poor at best whenever I go there they seem to be always out of things. I asked for distilled water and they gave purified water and I didnt look till I got home then they tried to give me the same thing again but was looking at the jug Pharmacy isnt good either usually Walgreens keeps a close watch on their stores but not here

I love this store. It might not be the most elegant Walgreens around, but the staff in the pharmacy and up front are so helpful, patient, and polite. I come mostly for prescriptions and find the pharmacy staff to be very professional and friendly. They really care about your wellbeing.I don’t know why it has received as many bad reviews as it has. I think it’s great!

The pharmacy really needs to get it together. Always an issue getting them to fill my husbands script. This weekend was the last straw when they filled the script differently than the physician ordered. Frequency and quantity were incorrect. Not noticing until I got home, it took over 30 minutes to finally talk to the pharmacist regarding the matter of why she filled/verified it wrong. Sad part is, they dont answer the phone to help you, hung up on me 3 times without saying anything, several transfers and finally a store manager walking the phone back there for them to take the call only to have to go back up there to address the matter. Initially while waiting for it they were all laughing and joking about why another upset customer called photo to be transferred to them. An employee commented thats because you all never answer the phone. As others have stated wait times are extremely unacceptable. Sad they are the only 24/7 Walgreens around here. Taking my busy elsewhere now where they treat and respect their customers. Corporate is well aware of these issues, maybe its time to step in and fix it. Save your time and use a different pharmacy for you scripts.

Why have a 24 hour pharmacy if they won’t fill scripts 24hrs??? I needed to be down state in the morning so waited till the 12th when my script was to be filled only to be told it was the pharmacy managers rule not to fill them till 8am the next morning!!! This was my first and last trip to this Walgreens, the only friendly person in the store was the front end cashier... Absolutely BS the last time I checked 1am on the 12th of March is still March 12th...Now I know why this store is rated so poorly & the person running the pharmacy told me I could take it anywhere in Illinois tomorrow🤔 Well if I didn’t need it because I was going out of town for work at 6am I would ha e waited till tomorrow, what a joke these people don’t care about anyone at all....

The store itself is OK, but this pharmacy is one of the slowest Ive ever dealt with. I would highly recommend starting away from the drive thru windows unless you want to burn a full tank of gas while waiting for help (and I didnt go during peak hours). Do yourself a favor and find another place to go for your prescriptions.

I love Walgreens as a store general, but this 1 needs to be shut down especially the pharmacy. They failed to give my 3 yr old an inhaler she needed after we said wed pay the $45 out of pocket for it, they instead decided it was better for us to wait 45 minutes for 1 that was partially covered to literally not even give us that one. Then when you pick up meds they act ignorant and dont care if you might have questions about the meds. They just dump your stuff and walk away like no big deal. Shut this Pharmacy Down it is Trash.

Love this store! Always helpful people. Pharmacy can take a bit but they have a lot of customers usually. Staff is always great, especially the young girl in the vest. The older male manager that doesnt wear a vest is always a jerk though- Ive seen him yell at his people for little things right in front of me twice. Made me feel super awkward and bad for the poor kid. I like Walgreens, but I wouldnt let my kid work there with that guy.

This review actually deserves a (minus)-2 stars. The pharmacy is a joke. I have experienced everything from receiving wrong pills in the bottle to someone else name on the confirmation receipt attached and stapled to the bag. The state needs to look into the practices of the establishment. Also ... The techs act like they are doing you a favor instead of you paying their hourly wage.

If I could give negative stars I would. The best thing that I can say is that they are open 24 hours....although it may take you that long at the drive thru. I have never, in 17 years, had a pleasant or easy experience. Dealing with prescriptions has been a pain every time. There is always an issue or problem. Fortunately our insurance wont allow most of our meds to be filled there anymore so we transferred to CVS in Lindenhurst.....couldnt be happier, never a wait or an issue, never a snarky pharmacist and always helpful and friendly. Unfortunately we had 2 scripts for my kids that went to walgreens this week and the experience just reminded me why I was so happy to leave!

They are on par with McDonalds with having the worst customer service imaginable. 3 days of well have it ready in 20 minutes after youve already waited in line 25-45min only to be told on that 4th day they can only give you a partial refill till the next day. This often happens at this location. Corporate please fix the issue by opening another nearby Walgreens or expanding and highering competent pharmacist.

HORRID experience EVERY time we were there. The last time we had prescriptions filled here, they had to the nerve to say to me that they couldnt do this anymore and (we) are too expensive to service. My sons meds were double covered by insurance and so we paid nothing out of pocket, but his secondary insurance was the state insurance (our primary was the insurance from my husbands job) and the medication cost $1,800/month. Im sorry, but thats a little illegal, no? It was PAID FOR and with the direction of my sons doctor (could only take brand name), so it was ridiculous.The drive through line is also ridiculous, super long and just obnoxious. The techs are overworked there and pharmacy took forever to get to you.Only reason Id ever go here is if every other store was closed.

The pharmacy had four days to refill a prescription that was already in the system and they accomplished nothing. Ive had only bad luck and poor service from this location (it should be noted that theyre always extremely busy). It took a Walgreens nearby about an hour to fill the same order.

I really do enjoy going to Walgreens. Its close to my house and 24hrs so I can rely on them to be there. Aisles are very tight. Hard to get around people. I always end up in a line full of people and they do the I see three call but the person who has to rush to a register, makes me feel rushed and they get pushy. Kind of script instead, its hard to get through a work shift, I get it. But some of them should lighten up a little.

I have tried to order my prescription 3 times this week. I was originally told the prescription was out off stock and would be available the next day. The next day I called and no one knows anything about the prescription being filled. So I was told my order was placed yet again and would be available in an hour. 3 hours later I called back and the product is not available and they cannot tell me if my order was placed, oh and they are out of stock again. The 3rd day I called stating I needed my prescription filled and the previous issues. I was guaranteed the prescription in 1 hour. 2 hours later, still no call letting me know the prescription is ready, I called back. They are out of stock and cannot verify that the order was placed. They might be able to let me know in the morning if I can get my prescription in 2 days. So done!!!! Always an issue with this pharmacy. The only plus they are open 24 hours. However anytime you need to pick up a prescription, at the time they let you know it is ready, you have to wait at least a minimum of 20 minutes before they will even get to you. They are so slow. I am saddened they are ok with symptoms resulting in extra doc visits due to their absentmindedness. My doc can prescibe more medicine they will not fill!!! Maybe they should be responsible for the additional hospital stays and medical bills due to negligence. And its not like I have a choice to go to another pharmacy due to insurance. Go to ANY other pharmacy if you can.

I wish there was a negative review I could give. This pharmacy is a mess. Blaming things on my doctors office and I had my doctors office on the phone who called the pharmacist out. Pharmacist says she signed me up text messages....never got one. Then blamed their computer system. I dont know what their problem is but they are certainly not honest or reliable. The staff here is very nice but unfortunately they are under staffed in the pharmacy and obviously overloaded with patients. They have run out of my prescriptions three times in two months. The wait is usually over 25 minutes no matter if youre in the drive-thru or inside at the counter. We have decided to no longer use this pharmacy due to these issues.

RIDICULOUS on hold times. I am a pharmacist working for an independent pharmacy, and I needed to contact the pharmacist at this Walgreens. After being on hold for 4:40, I got through to the call service which put me on hold to wait for the pharmacy. after 17 more minutes the on hold music changed and a pharmacy staff member answered, and put me on hold for another 2 minutes to wait for the pharmacist. Cmon corporate -- give your pharmacies the staffing they need!! My independent pharmacy gets new customers EVERY DAY who are sick and tired of being treated like cattle. The pharmacists at Walgreens and other corporate stores WANT to give good customer service, but they just cant.

I personally give the pharmacy a 5, why? Becuase for some of you who do not understand. THEY ACTUALLY TRY TO GET THINGS DONE FOR EVERY SINGLE PATIENT AS BEST AS THEY CAN. Yes, sometimes the wait is long inside well they can not do much considering the fact THE DO NOT have much help back there. Don’t like waiting, want to know what you can do? Be more patient with them and understand we’re doing what we can. Having to wait for the pharmacist? Well its the state law having the pharmacist talk to you, dont blame the pharmacy blame the state 😊. THEY ARE AN EXCELLENT TEAM. Unfortunetly most of you do not see that. Worst Walgreens ever! Every time I have gone, it has been at least a 30-45 minute wait in line, regardless of if you are inside or in the drive thru. On multiple occasions, they hadnt even filled my order till I arrived in person to tell them. They have messed up dosages, and they will not answer the phones. I switched all my prescriptions to the CVS in Round Lake Beach and just wish I had done it sooner. Honestly, Walgreens corporate should either shut this store down or do a complete revamp with all new staff.

The only reason theres 1 star is because you have to choose to leave a review. Calling ya right the call goes to a call center. My meds never change. And because there server has a problem getting a hold of insurance they forward the problem to the customer. Then lied to saying there was a dangerous interaction. Which was untrue! I would give zero stars if Google allowed such a rating with their reviews.They never have my husbands prescription ready and it takes them forever to process it. His doctor will call in a prescription on their voicemail system and confirm she called it in and theyll put him on hold forever and tell him theres no voicemails. There are times when shift changes will occur and a pharmacist will say yes its on there and has been on the voicemail for quite sometime. Last week we called prior to going asking when the precrisption would be ready hours after it was called in they told us 1:55. We arrived around that time and there was a bit of a line which I get if they were busy but didnt officially process his prescription to be ready until we were at the register past 2:30 Even though it was bagged labeled and ready to go but we had to wait for them to officially process it in the computer to ring us out . They had at least five people working yet it seems they didnt have anyones prescriptions ready. There was an older blonde woman working that day as well that showed poor customer service to someone behind us . I understand how frustrating customers can be but when everyones prescription is late snapping at customer that you havent had a lunch or bathroom break is unprofessional and completely unnecessary . I dont know whats going on with this staff but they need to hire more people, get it together, or at the very least stop saying something will be ready before they can actually do so .

Very long wait times here at the pharmacy. Drive-thru can be even worse. Technicians can be very unfriendly and ditatched from customers. We use the Gurnee store at Almond and Grand as our home-base Walgreens, which has an exceptionally friendly and very helpful pharmacy staff, but use this store as a last resort for the 24-hour pharmacy..... Last resort.

Ive been going through this pharmacy for almost 4 years now and almost every time I have a complaint because they screw something up. Ive had the same prescriptions for the entire time and I took them in there this time and they said they cant fill them till the 29th day which would be tomorrow when I have had the same Dr schedule for the entire 4 years. Every 4 weeks on wed I go to the Dr and get my meds. Ive had the wrong meds given to me before from them and also have had nothing but attitude from the purple headed troll that works there. Needless to say go to the one in grayslake and save yourself the trouble. I got my meds no questions asked and they also fixed a insurance issue for me from the other stores mistake.

This rating is for the pharmacy. The wait time is terrible. My mom has been given the incorrect dosage for one of her medications. My son was also given incorrect dosage following a ER visit and the technician didnt even question it. I noticed it seemed like way too much for a toddler so I called. After waiting on hold they told me what the dosage should be and it was in fact incorrect. Always check your medications, especially from this location they are way too busy.

My husband went to the pharmacy for his flu shot and we got there just after 9 on Sunday when they opened.There were about 10 people waiting there in front of us when my husband walked up to the sign in computer and saw that it was closed for the day.Granted, those people could have read the sign, but how long are Walgreens employees going to just let the customers sit there waiting when they know its closed??

The Rollins location is terribly slow, at least 40min drive thru wait and if you go inside expect to wait just as long if not longer.....someone should report them.
