This Practice deny to see me cause I was on the beginning of my second trimester, the office staff is extremely rude and unprofessional and the office manager lie to me with incoherent excuses., terrible experience.

Have had a great experience with Dr. Xie. She is very attentive and takes time to explain details. Her demeanor is compassionate. Wait times at her office are less than 30 mins. The staff is cooperative and will make sure to cater to your needs scheduling wise or otherwise. The office is conveniently located with ample parking. Would highly recommend her practice.

Dr. Xie is fantastic. Its important for my doctors to have good bedside manner, since I tend to overreact about everything. She is extremely efficient but also kind and gentle. Her English isnt perfect, but she clearly knows a lot about what she is doing. Very thorough, very personable. The office is small, private, comfortable and they have great resources. Im not having kids yet, but I get the feeling she excels in obstetrics. I could not ask for a better GYN and I highly, highly recommend her.

Dr. Xie delivered the babies of ALL my close friends, so when I found out I was pregnant, my husband and I knew this is where we had to go. The providers and staff here not only lived up to the amazing things we were told by our friends, but far exceeded all expectations we had! The level of care shown throughout each of our visits and the knowledge they have when answering each and every one of our questions made us feel at ease throughout the entire pregnancy. We went into the hospital for labor confident that this team is the best of the best, and the proof was in the smooth delivery of our healthy baby boy! I will continue to rave about this office and recommend them to anyone I can. We are truly grateful for the doctors, nurses, and supporting staff here.

I was a patient of Dr Fan before he retired and left the practice to Dr Xie. Dr Xie delivered my only daughter and I am extremely grateful for her. However, I got an IUD about a year ago and I wanted it out because it was creating complications. I asked her to take it out and she said no... So that was not okay. I have never heard of a doctor completely vetoing a patients wishes; I had to switch gynecologist to get my IUD out. She didnt suggest alternatives she just said no its fine, youre fine, you need to keep it. Thanks for everything up to this point, but definitely had to make the switch.

Nothing against this doctor but this location of capital womens care 121 Congressional Lane, Suite 100 front desk are just rude. Their attitude is so nasty and unwelcoming. I’ve spoken to 4 different lady’s and each one of them were unprofessional. You don’t even need to go in to see you can just call and they’ll have a attitude.

Dr. Xie was very informative. She spent time educating me, which says a lot. The staff was nice and the office visit was speedy.

I think Dr. Xie would be great if there were no complications. But I had an incomplete miscarriage and it was awful trying to navigate that process with her. She said none of her patients ever needed a D&C, and wanted me to keep taking cytotec even though she admitted she didnt think it would work. She also kept scheduling ultrasounds ($$ out of pocket eventually) even though nothing had changed. When I requested a D&C (after about nearly 2 months of this), she became almost angry and started talking about how she never has to do that procedure and it would require a hysteroscopy, and when I communicated that I didnt know what that was, she was incredulous and said like a colonoscopy, you dont know what a colonoscopy is?! I have no idea why she was talking about whatever-scopys, it sounded like she was almost panicking at the thought of doing one, but realizing she wasnt confident in doing the procedure on top of being nearly yelled at while dealing with a miscarriage was too much, and I decided to find another gynecologist.

We were thrilled that we were expecting our first baby.So finding a good OB doctor became my priority We were referred to Dr. Xies office by a friend. Since we are not familiar with the doctor network in DC metro Area.The experience was more than I expected. The office has good location for 270 commuter and staff there are friendly and helpful. Dr.Xie is a business and popular OB doctor in DC area. BUt she has everything undercontrolled, So each patient could be well taken care of .Besides normal OB exam and test, Her instruction are according to my wifes eating habits and individual condition which is really helpful. She always response our questions through the phone immediately,thats what expected parents need, right? During my wifes in labor ,Dr.Xie has good sense and well experienced,This actually helps my wife to have less suffer , we really enjoy the moment to share the happiness moment of having pretty,healthy,8lb baby with Dr. Xie !
