The Hearing Loss Association of America (HLAA) is the nations largest nonprofit organization serving the 48 million Americans with hearing loss. HLAA provides information, education, advocacy, and support for people with hearing loss. I discovered HLAA in 2012 and feel so grateful to be a member of this beautiful hearing loss community. I highly recommend joining the HLAA tribe!
The Hearing Loss Association of America is a wonderful source of support, encouragement, and information for people with hearing loss and their friends and families. Through HLAA, I learned how to choose a hearing health provider who would provide patient centered care. Through HLAA, I discovered how to optimize features my hearing aid such as the Telecoil and other technologies to hear better and communicate more effectively. The connections and friends I made through HLAA inspired me to travel, work, and volunteer again, knowing I can figure out how to hear and communicate in different situations. I highly recommend HLAA for anyone at any age who may have a hearing loss.
