I always enjoy my shohba experience. It always smells so great in there and they do a fabulous job.

Expensive but great service. A little slower than other threading places, but less painful (depends on who you get of course).

So easy to make an appointment. Very clean. Receptionist is professional. Technicians are all amazing but Ive always had the above and beyond experience with Sanjana. Shes got the magic touch. Never any redness or pain.

Amazing experience! The front desk is knowledgeable and helpful. Masks are required. The facility is clean. My Tech is wonderful. My skin is silky-smooth. I cant recommend shobha enough.

First time visited the branch and was very impressed with good hygiene and clean environment. The staff was very friendly and kind. Felt the warmth and welcome right from the beginning. The front desk is separate from the service areas and that was very good. It’s nice and private. Which lacks in most salons here. It was a good experience as it’s the most cleanest and well organized salon I visited after my move from dubai. I had been hesitant as the standard of salons in Dubai are beyond perfect .. but Shobha was amazing and loved how sorted it all was.Only disappointment was the service .. as quick as it was (which is great) the wax was done very poorly. I didn’t realize it until day 3 when I found out all the hairs were not uprooted but were broken midway (like shaving)I had been doing waxing for years and I can tell atleast for 3-4 weeks the hair doesn’t grow back especially in my case where I have got laser done. The hair after laser aren’t coarse and pretty fine and patchy.For the service I paid (which wasn’t ofcorse cheap and the added 20% tip) I deserved better. Let’s say hairfree for atleast 2 weeks. But just day three I started seeing the growth in patches (as some were pulled out of root and majority broken)I honestly don’t know what went wrong as I left the salon happy and content. (It was hard to tell when you are numb and the growth won’t happen instantly in few minutes) but I guess .. what happened was all theHairs were probably pulled in wrong direction or the strip wasn’t rubbed in well after wax application to hold the hair in place good before ripping it off.Whatever the case my happiness lasted 3 days.Was so disappointed when saw the results didn’t even last a whole week.Instead of smooth skin (which is normally how I feel after getting professional wax or even the one done at home) I am all patchy & pricky with blunt hairs growing back within 3 days of my appointment. I really really love the place .. wish the service was great too.. or maybe next time it would be .. but this was a total waste of time, money and the one pampering treat I tried to give myself.

Eyebrow Threading is phenomenal!! Each and every tech i have encountered has been professional and did a great job! Ive been going to over 1 year!

A little expensive for my pockets, but the customer service leaves me fulfilled, that Ill be a returning customer.

10/10 highly recommend this place. I’ve been to many other places for Brazilians and my hair will grow back in 2-3 days. Not here!! I don’t know what their technique is but this is my goto Brazilian Wax place as long as I’m in the area!

I’ve been going to Shobha for years now, i’ve gotten threading and sugar brazilian. I’ve never had a bad experience always a very clean, polite, & professional environment but recently i went and got my eyebrows threaded by Pabitra and i must say this was by far the BEST threading i’ve gotten in about 4 years. Not only was Pabitra super kind, very patient and careful with my skin , being that i’m 39 weeks pregnant i was extra sensitive but she literally gave my brows the best shape they’ve seen in years!!!! i do not want to go to anyone else from now on! She was on point and has exceptional customer service !!!

Great service always. This is always my go-to place for waxing because their ingredients are never irritating (and smells great as well!) They also hire, or perhaps train, great technicians. I’ve been to many other waxing salons and I would always go back to Shobha. Can never go wrong and always reliable.

This is a clean and professional women-owned salon with several locations in NYC and DC area. I went to the Rockville location for my very first Brazilian wax before my honeymoon. I worked with Sanjan and she made it as relaxing as possible. I really appreciated the thorough info about what to expect and promise to stop services at any time (especially acknowledging past trauma and other experiences when working with intimate areas). 10/10 would recommend!

Shobha is THE place to go. It’s high quality and the staff are always nice. I have struggled to find someone I trust to do an excellent job on my eyebrows and I have finally found my place. Almost a year later and I will never go anywhere else again. Sapana is the best and only person I let touch my brows, she is professional, sweet, and very knowledgeable. I always highly recommend this place!

I cannot say enough good things about Shobha. Even before the outbreak of COVID-19 they were the cleanest salon I have ever set foot in. After this outbreak and their re-opening, I am beyond impressed. They have proper screening questions, have expanded their hygiene as soon as you get in (yay!), their specialist appear to be well outfitted with PPE, and they have limited capacity. I felt guilty about going in, but its so important to support businesses right now, and Im happy I did. They really care so much about the quality of their work and the care of their clients.As always, Raji did an amazing job with my eyebrows! I highly recommend seeing her. She is extremely skilled at threading and is also just so sweet and kind. My eyebrows always look perfect after seeing her.

The quality of service is top notch. The staff are so warm and pleasant and they have awesome music. My friend and I have gotten eyebrow threading and my friend is also thinking about getting laser hair removal here. The staff is knowledgeable. Once my budget is more boutique price friendly I will visit more.

I’ve gotten a wax here a couple times, and I can not recommend this place enough. Everyone I’ve interacted with is extremely professional, the rooms are always very clean, and they are also dedicated to getting every last hair removed. I worked with Raji yesterday, who was super gentle and sweet, and she went back and forth between sugar (which is what I had originally requested) and wax (which is what worked) to make sure the job was done well. I’ve gotten waxed at a couple different places, and this one is my favorite my far. They also have an app that you can use, which is super convenient. They’re also doing a special where students and teachers get 20% off, which is great because I am mostly broke! This place is great and I’ll definitely be coming back.

Ehh. The price pays for the atmosphere, not the quality of service. My eyebrows were subpar at best. Actually had to let them grow out and find elsewhere to go.

I visited this place today for the firs time for eyebrows threading..super nice, tidy, clean, and fancy, the service is professional... it is expensive but totally worth it.

Student discount for the win! Boutique prices but worth it for premium service. I will travel here because I dont have to worry about scars or uneven brows. The threaders are overly attentive of your wishes and consult as they shape.

I love Shobha -- they do a great job and love their emphasis on sterility and cleanliness.
