The receptionist was very friendly and warm. She chatted with me and politely asked for my 2021 insurance card and information.She guided me to the waiting room. So, the required social distance was maintained.The Technician who did panoramic photo was very knowledgeable and skillful. She quickly took the shot and email me the image.The entire process was swiftly completed.My Dentist came to make sure if everything was okay and made sure I had no additional questions. Then, He was attending to his next patient.

My daughter has been coming to Dr. Horng since she had teeth and he will remain her dentist. He us absolutely amazing. We moved 45 minutes aways and I wouldnt dare change to someplace closer. He is home for her teeth.

Dr. Horng and his team are phenomenal! Dr Horng preformed a frenectomy for my 5 year old. They were very comforting and explained the procedure thoroughly. I was very happy with my experience and highly recommended them. Thank you.

Dr.Horng and his staff were wonderful. I took my infant son here for a tongue tie consultation and procedure (frenechtomy). Dr.Horng scheduled us quickly and carefully explained everything about the procedure during our consultation. He also followed up with us that evening. The procedure went smoothly and he and his staff were very helpful. This procedure greatly helped my child be able to nurse efficiently. I am very grateful we went here!

First off, they actually take a lot of insurance plans. Dr. Horng is very compassionate. I felt comfortable with the staff and Dr. Horng working on my daughter. She had a frenectomy procedure and her nursing and weight gain have improved since.

I’ve been seeing Dr. Horng for what feels like 20 years. It’s always a pleasure to see him, he’s so personable and knows what he’s talking about. I can’t believe I have a dentist that makes me feel good about going. And the office staff are always cheerful and helpful.

Dr. Horng is an excellent provider and I would highly recommend his practice, especially for diagnosing and treating lip/tongue tie issues in newborns. He showed expertise, patience, and concern for the wellbeing of both the patient and parents. He took the time to explain the problem, lay out potential pathways, and answer questions. I never felt pressured into doing anything, but rather felt empowered to make an informed decision about my babys treatment.

I would highly recommend this practice! Dr. Horng and his diverse team are very welcoming and provide great service. Everyone is genuinely friendly and yet professional. They are such an efficient and communicative team. Dr. Horng is very knowledgeable and takes the time to answer any questions or concern! He is very thorough and able to work with great efficiency. Not only that, but the office has been recently renovated with new chairs and now has TVs in the ceiling so that the patients can watch TV (Disney Plus, Netflix, Hulu) while getting their cleaning, or treatment done!

My experience with Rockville Pediatric was horrible. If I could give no stars or a negative amount it would be -10. I was referred to Dr.Horng for my 7 year old son who was experiencing some pain on his back tooth. Dr. Horng was very vague at explaining what the many issues my son was having but overall said he had a few cavities and needed to do two extractions from the back a few caps and spacers. Said that he would prefer to do it in the hospital as a surgery/ put him to sleep to avoid giving my child a phobia of dentistry. I agreed explained to my son to the best of my ability what to expect the day of surgery. It was supposed to be 1 1/2 hour surgery, I waited in the wait room for 3 hours and when I was brought to my son the dentist had removed 4 teeth including his two front teeth. My son was and still is devastated. The doctor showed no compassion or patience when I asked why and explained to him that was not my expectations. I along with my son was hurt. I felt disregarded, disrespected and unimportant. Fast forward to the follow up visit, I allowed my sons dad to go to the appointment instead of me, since women are far more emotional hoping they could talk man to man and get some answers on treatment plan going forward and to get a clear understanding as to why his front teeth were taken and why no one bothered to get our permission. Dr. Horng went on to say how he did not understand our concerns and proceeded to throw them out of the office. He is very impatient, rude and unprofessional. I am reporting him to the Dental Association and BBB, for he was at best very unethical and rude and definitely should not be practicing on children. I pray this does not happen to any other 7 year old. Yes they were his baby teeth and would have come out eventually but there is a huge difference between them coming out naturally and going into surgery with one thing in mind and coming out without your front teeth. My son has developed a complex and wears his mask around the house and covers his smile. I do not recommend this doctor he needs to go buy some compassion and patience for his patients and their parents.

In the midst of a pandemic we really struggled to find a pediatric dentist who could do some significant work on our daughters teeth. Dr. Andy was the 3rd pediatric dentist we consulted. After being told General anesthesia for our 5 year old was our only option, he gave us a treatment option that we felt more comfortable with and we were able to avoid surgery.He and his staff provided thorough explanations and carefully monitored my daughter, reassuring her during her procedures which spanned over the course of multiple visits.I highly recommend him to any parents seeking quality dental services for their kids. We actually decided to switch dentists and stay with Dr. Horng in the future since he earned our trust, respect and gratitude.

So my baby was born with tongue tie and Dr Hong did a minor surgery to fix it. Honestly the 1st 3 days after surgery were bad. It took about almost a week to heel and it was the best decision I’ve made so far. Now I can breastfeed my baby with no issues.

Rockville Pediatric Dental is kid friendly, the staff is wonderful, and Dr. Horng and his hygienists are the best. They have so much experience with children and know what they are doing. We’ve been coming since my kids were babies. I highly recommend them as they are the best in the area.

My son had to have lip & tongue tie revisions after a previous tongue tie revision. We reached out to this office because they are one of the few in the area that do this procedure via laser instead of clipping. First of all, the staff was AMAZING and saw us the NEXT day after calling and discussing our symptoms. Not only did they get us in for a next day consult, but the procedure was also completed same day! Since this was a 1.5 hr drive for us, this was a huge plus! When we got to the office, the front office staff treated us very well and we were very pleased with the dental assistants who assisted with the procedure. Dr. Horng spent a lot of time explaining the procedure, reasons why we needed to do it, and the aftercare! I really appreciated the time he spent explaining everything to me. During the procedure, he worked efficiently and got clear margins which made us even happier. He is very good with children and I felt very good about my son being in his care! We are so appreciative of Dr. Horng and his staff for helping our baby! Don’t hesitate to use this office for all your pediatric dental needs!

I cant say enough good stuff about the team at Rockville Pediatrict Dental. They are professional, collaborative, and compassionate. We found out my infant son has a tongue and lip tie. Dr. Horng made time for us during his lunch break the very next day. He took considerable time to evaluate my son and have a very in-depth conversation about the procedure. He was very easygoing with my son throughout our visit. His staff were extremely kind, communicative, and detailed as we booked the appointment. They had clear, concise advice about my insurance coverage. And the office itself is a bright, friendly environment. I would recommend Dr. Horng and his team to any family.

I’ve been going to this dental practice for years with my children and have always been received with so much kindness. Dr. Horng is always very kind and explains everything that’s being done in any procedure throughly. He also answers any questions or concerns my children are having about their teeth. I gave my review more than a year ago and is now gone.... terrible experience here with the dentist, he is knowledgeable but lacks manners. He is not friendly with kids and doesnt have patience at all. My kids age 9 and 3 who are well behaved had terrible experiences with him. Going to the dentist is hard already and he denefenetly doesnt make it any easier for the children or parents. I went to All Star Pediatrics after here and my children LOVE that place.

We went today for the first time and knew that the appointment was going to be a tricky one, as it was my daughters first extraction. The doctor and his team were all so friendly and great about navigating the anxiety of a 6 years old in fear of the process. It was a great experience! (The wait was a bit long, but these are COVID times and I know things get tricky when youre trying to do proper social distancing between the patients, so I wont hold them against it at all).

Wonderful care from all the staff. Always a pleasant and smooth experience from the moment we arrive to when we make our next appointment. And of course Dr. Horng is wonderful in caring for my two kids over the years.

Great dentist. He actually knows how to deal with children with special needs. I had a terrible experience with a previous dentist for my son. He is 5. I was very delighted with his professionalism and how he is able to work with kids that cant stand loud noises or are anxious about the unknown. So I highly recommended him if you have a kid with any special need. He truly focus on working with kids with challenging behaviours. He knows exactly what to do. He is very prepared in his dental profession.

I love the care my kids get here, dr. Horn is very professional at his work and he explains everything with details and best part is that he is honest about everything. I never world go back again. My child was coming to get a second opinion. The doctor had not bedside manners. He forced my child down and didnt want me to calm her down. Do I felt he didnt care about her. He didnt give her any toy or anything because he said do better next time. He was just plan Bad. He shouldnt work on children he had a bad attitude and didnt do well with children at all. I would give him a 0 star is I could just plain bad.

Kelley the dentist hygienist gave my boys a little quiz about why it’s so important they floss and brush their teeth everyday. She was patient, sweet and my boys really felt safe. My son told me he’s not scared of the dentist anymore because of her! Ebed assisted Dr Horng with a filling and extraction and was so nice and kind to my son. She helped him stay calm and they did a great job. We will always come here and love everyone. The office is clean, they send reminders for appointments and happy to help and kind to the kids!! This dr office was very accomodating and great with kids! It was my sons first visit and he was acting a little reluctant. Rather than place him in the chair, the dentist and I held him in our laps and she cleaned his teeth :-). Dr. Horne was not in the office the day I went, but his replacement was great! She explained things to me and showed me areas of concern with my childrens teeth.The front desk team was helpful too. I had all three kids with me and she offered to fill out my new patient form by me simply telling her the information. And they were very patient and kind with my kids being kids in the waiting area.

The dentist is always on time, me and my son never have to wait for more than 5 minutes and the quality of the service fantastic!
