I have been a NWFCU customer for over 20 years. Their rates are reasonable to good; service has been excellent. One thing to keep in mind is that this is a relatively small credit union. it is generally advisable to make an appointment when you need a service beyond what a teller can do, such as notary or signature guarantee, to discuss a loan, etc. I recommend this credit union.

Definitely was racially profiled at this location. Came in to cash a check written by a member and was told they couldnt cash it, without giving me any explanation why. I know for a fact the money was in the members account. Watched white customers get their transactions completed with no issues. They made me wait, got a manager to tell me they couldnt cash it, and then after I insisted on an explanation and called the member, miraculously they were able to cash it, after giving me the run around for 40 minutes.

Wow! Expected to be in here for at least an hour but Luis G and Emily M were able to facilitate my request from the front desk in less than 10 minutes. The place is spotless, employees dressed professionally, and they were knowledgeable and respectful. Excellent job!

Ive a new member since my old credit union merged with Northwest FCU. I recently had to cash a check and stopped by the Rockville location. I was very pleased with how quickly I was in and out. There was nobody in line, and there were multiple Bank employees available, so even if there were more customers I doubt there would have been a wait. I was greeted by all the employees when I walked in lol employee who did help me with extremely friendly and fast. Would recommend and return

First I live in Wheaton md and it’s wonderful to have the facility so close. The folks at this branch are very pleasant and helpful

The staff at this location is highly professional and kind. They got me the auto loan approved with ease, thanks to Ligia Stauffer and manager Christian.

Great Customer service, friendly staff and great management. It was great experience coming here, i definitely recommend it.

BEWARE! Do not, I repeat DO NOT involve yourself with this company. Northwest Credit Union is the worst financial institution ever. Terrible customer service.
