Expensive, but wonderful. When you want the best, this is it.

October 2021: My Dads move to the AL did not begin well. BV seemed unable to provide the promised level of care in the Assisted Living area. BV is striving to do better, and there has been a real improvement over the past week. Im hopeful Ill consider them back at 5 stars soon.May 2021: My parents moved in about eight weeks ago. The building is lovely, the staff is fantastic, the food is good. Were very pleased with the onsite Medical services. We looked at a lot of places, and are very happy we chose Brightview.

Brightview has done a phenomenal job for its residents during the pandemic. They have maintained social activities to the extent possible and the entire staff remains friendly and helpful. Its remarkable that, since the pandemic started, there have been only a handful of cases among both residents and staff. The facility itself is beautiful and well-maintained. My mother is one of the original residents and has been very happy with everything except the food (a common complaints about senior facilities). At the beginning, the food was terrific. Apparently things have deteriorated from a culinary standpoint, but I dont have much in the way of details.

If you or a loved one is looking for a retirement community that will fully meet your needs in an independent living, assisted living , or memory care setting, look no further!! Every single staff member goes out of their way to make residents feel comfortable, entertained, and well cared for. The Brightview community warmly invites family and the local community into their residents lives with special family gatherings, a cafe with delicious food open to both residents and the surrounding community. Nestled safely in the heart of downtown Rockville, activity staff takes full advantage of the surrounding area for field trips and shopping. The outdoor spaces and flow of the community is ideal and suits the needs of every resident. Communication from staff is amazing, and families have been kept so well apprised of all the precautions and standards that have been put into place to protect residents from Covid-19. We are so grateful for the protocols put into place, as they have prevented so many cases that would have otherwise ensued. It is not surprising that Brightview has had such great success with protecting their residents, as they hold this challenge to the same standard of care they implement every other moment in time. We are beyond grateful to all the staff, each and every one of them, for making Brightview West End such an amazing community!

I can only speak from my own personal experience and how happy my sister in law has been the past 2 years living at Brightview Westend!. We are all incredibly happy with every facet of this community. The total professionalism and warmth given by ALL the staff has been terrific!. Elaine Koubek, has been wonderful during this year of Covid-19 by communicating with family members and informing us with detail of step by step plans of how they are taking care of our loved ones. I have been so impressed during an incredibly difficult time for all of us! From the bottom of my heart, I cant thank you all enough!

I have a family member in Brightview West End and we do not live in the state but are POA for that individual. The staff and management have been absolutely amazing to work with and we looked at other facilities nearby and made our decision on price, the attitude of the staff and the upbeat mood. We have been so very pleased with the way the COVID has been handled and our family member and has remained free from the virus and the safety protocols have been more than above and beyond. Just too many good things to say! It is a seven story building and right at Rockville Town Centre. Very convenient for those that can get out and about. We have been so pleased with the care and true caring staff.

Brightview West End under the leadership of Ms. Elaine Koubekis outstanding. The staff from nurses, associates, activity person,physical therapist, cook, housekeeping take their lead from Ms Koubekand are dedicated, caring, and competent. The physical and emotionalneeds of residents are well taken care of. In particular their handingof the corona virus safety precautions is just exemplary. I am a physician in practice32 years from out of state. I have much experience about personal careand the care of the elderly. My mother has resided at Brightview fora year and a half. I facetime her every day and had visited Brightviewevery other week until COVID 19. I am so impressed by Ms. Koubekand her staff. They have sent detailed E mails updates it seems every daysince COVID 19. They take extremely good care of my mother forwhich I am grateful. I highly recommend Brightview West End.

I am researching potential assisted living facilities for my mom. I called Brightview West End three times and left messages each time for someone from marketing or admissions to call me. No returned calls as of this review (over a week long period). Obviously, Brightview isnt interested in returning phone calls that could potentially result in new business. Now, should they call me back Ill be telling them too little, too late. If returning phone calls isnt a priority for Brightview, I imagine quality of care isnt a priority either.

Beautiful, new, and convenient location. Liked most room layouts. Dining areas wonderful except one choice for breakfast that is open to public, required by Rockville, just unsure about that, looks nice though!

Very impressed with this stunning new Assisted Living Community right in the heart of Rockville Town Centre. I will not hesitate to recommend families to this community.

Managers and reception are rude.They do not came from healthcare industry. Rrice is too high. Room laying is very inconvenient. All you can see from windows is another apartment. Most of units are empty. Food is okay, but portions are too big and very fatty. They opened in October 2017, but still fixing walls and floor.I will not recommend this facility for love once.
