I looked all over town for the perfect used car. I am a college student and on a budget. I ran across SK Certified Auto online and completed the application process in less than 10 minutes. I heard back from a sales rep right away. I picked up my car the very next day. SK Certified Auto are quick, reliable, and not too costly. The car even came inspected. They were friendly since my initial call, They knew my budget what I could afford and did whatever it took to work with me. I was skeptical because I have been car shopping for weeks and driving a rental car and never could find anything reasonable, but the owner took the initiative to even take me to drop my rental car off at enterprise once we closed the deal. I got a nice car well maintained mechanically for a very affordable price that I still cant believe. If this doesnt shock you let me just add I drove 1 hour and 40 minutes in rush hour traffic after work and they stayed and waited for me and when I arrived everything that we discussed on the phone was the same when I arrived. I couldnt ask for another blessing. I will update you on my review as well.

They sold us a 2006 Subaru Forester for what seemed like a fair -- though not bargain -- price. When we took it to our mechanic, though, it turned out to need thousands of dollars worth of work that SK _should_ have known about. They are not to be trusted.Update: They returned our money. They were very attentive and professional when I came to buy a Toyota Avalon. There was a slight vibration when I pressed on the brakes and they got right on it and replaced the rotors right there. I would definitely refer sk to somebody I know it was quick an easy and thy were very nice.

I purchased a vehicle about a week ago and had a great experience. I was not sure if I could get approved on a vehicle. This is the first No Haggling dealership in which Ive ever bought a vehicle. And Ive purchased many vehicles over the years. NEVER BUY YOUR CAR HERE. The people who own this place are scam artists and will lie and manipulate until they can pull one over on you. About 7 months ago, I went to see a 04 Volkswagen Golf that seemed to be in good condition except for a dead battery, which I was promised would be replaced, so I put a down payment. When I came to pay the rest and pick up my car, it didnt run anymore and they said they didnt know why. Eventually they replaced the ECU, tires, brakes, brake pads, and various other things, so I paid the full purchase price of the car and asked to pick it up the next day. When I came to pick the car up the next day, the radio no longer worked and I was told to, buy a new one for $100 bucks because [he] (meaning the manager, Jamie) wasnt gonna fix anything else. I was upset, but I took it to a radio specialist who said their mechanic fried it and I got it fixed for about $65. Also, I found out that their mechanic left two tools under my hood, so that tells you how careful and meticulous they are about their work. Ever since then, my car has been continuously breaking down. I would fix something, and something else would break right after. Like I said, Ive owned the car for 7 months and have only been able to drive 1,000 miles (to and from mechanics), but have also had to spend WELL OVER $2,000 in repairs. Ive replaced the radio, wiring harness, temperature sensor, washer pump, water pump, transmission harness, coolant, transmission fluid, speed sensor, axle, calipers, brakes, brake pads, ball joint, and exhaust manifold. The coolant leak and transmission leak were known about by the dealer because they were cleaned up so I couldnt see the leakage. My brakes and pads were brand new, according to the dealer, except after 1,000 miles of driving, theyre less than 25%, according to my mechanic. I drove the car over an hour home when I bought it with the exhaust manifold broken and the axle grinding metal on metal, ready to snap at any moment. I told the dealer about this and his response was, Good luck in court. Im currently in the process of filing complaints with my local Better Business Bureau as well as the Attorney Generals office for their violation of the federal Uniform Commercial Code as well as the Unfair Trades Act.

The first day I was there since I have an appointment I was very disappointed because the car was not ready for test drive as the dealer promised me.The sales person said sorry and promised to make it ready and to call me back when it is ready.In few weeks the sales man called me and told me as the car was ready.I went there and did a test drive.I liked the car and paid deposit and took it the next day.I got a warranty for 90 days for half price and so far the car is ruining good except the service required sign keeps flashing last few days.The sales person name is Andi.

The owner claims his name is bobby but he is really a scumbag lying Iranian. He is a complete criminal that makes promises and never delivers. You can never trust a word that comes out of his mouth. He says lots of things to get you to buy but then once you pay, you are on your own. If you thought used car salesmen were bad, Bobby as he calls himself will prove you true.

I wouldnt recommend anyone to buy a vehicle from them. I purchased a vehicle from them in November 2016. In the past 3 months Ive had ongoing issues with the vehicle. I told them the initial problem and they fixed what they wanted to fix and my car still has the initial problem. The owner (Pierre) asked me to take it to a dealer to get a diagnostic test, and the results were exactly what I said (VTC accuator). However he felt like the estimate given by the dealer was too expensive and he would see if his next door mechanic could look at it. Lets say I never spoke to him again. I did however speak to my salesman Ricardo who said they might be reopening their shop and to call back in 1week. Ive been calling for a week and no answer. No answer at shop or the owners cell phone. He wont even respond to a text message. In the past 3 months Ive had to get a oil change (because the car almost ran out of oil), replace the starter, and now the breaks need to be replaced. To top it off I live an hour away, the roads there are toll roads that dont take cash (lots of toll tickets), and multiple unnecessary trips to the dealer. Stay clear of them!

Buy your car from a real dealer not a repair/tow shop. Bought a 99 lexus from this place in may, The owner claimed it was his personal car for 20 years and was only selling it because he bought a new car.....well I was only able to drive it for about 3 months. Its February now an the car has been in the shop ever since because it has major electric problems. I financed the car so im basically paying a notefor a car that i have not been able to drive. Im pretty sure he knew about these issues and was selling the car for those reasons. RIPOFF

After going to Ilost count but way to many dealerships and being turned down everywhere... I had a friend refer me to Mr Andy Rodriguez. and let me tell you after being told NO time after time.. You begin to loose hope. So before actually going to the car lot I called Andy in advance explained my situation. And to my suprise i once again had hope I would be riding in a new vehicle. I will be honest it not being the big name typical dealer i was still a little hesitant but went any way. After Andy talkng to a few banks He gave me a few options to pick from. And now I am driving in a wonderful car that I absolutely love and couldnt be more happy with. SK Certified Auto Sales is not to be mistaken for the other SK Motors in Lanham md.. these guys are in Rockville and are great. Kind of like the Brady’s Hawaii vacation, what started off as a pleasant experience turned into a nightmare. Our car got totaled and we were looking to use the insurance money to replace it before our family trip down to Florida. We looked at the Acura MDX at SK. After we drove it for a few minutes we decided we would take it. We noticed a few little things and he said he would fix them and we could pick the car up the next day. No hard sell. No problems. We put down our deposit and went on our merry way, pleased at how easy it all was. We went back the next evening to get our car. We were going to leave for Florida that night. On the way home, on the Beltway, the car died. I managed to get to the side of the road before I lost all power. I called them and they had a tow truck come get me. The tow guy couldn’t find me even though I was directly under a mileage sign that I read to him. When he finally got there, he asked me who I bought the car from. When I told him, he said, “Oh, I’ll be seeing you a lot then.” I got into his tow truck and was almost impaled by a stick that was protruding from the vent. I thought it was incense at first, but it was just a stick; keeping the vent open I guess. He then told me to floor the gas pedal for him because otherwise he would not have enough power to get the car onto the back of the truck. He talked on the phone making plans with his girlfriend while he drove me home before returning the car to the shop. We crammed the kids into our old car for the trip to Florida. The car was waiting for us in the driveway when we returned. Three days later, the check engine light went on. I called SK and he said he didn’t have any mechanics on but if I could bring it to an Auto Zone to do the diagnostic, he could get the part. I got that done, gave him the code and told him they thought it was an O2 sensor. When I called him two weeks later, he still did not have the part. Then the light went off. He told me that was a good thing and that sometimes these things fixed themselves. In the meantime, two of the door locks stopped working. So I brought the car in to fix those. They said the repair would take about an hour. It took five. They fixed the locks and did not check the O2 sensor like I asked. They said the code that I got from Auto Zone may not have been accurate and that different check engine scanners produced different results. On my way back from getting the locks repaired, the check engine light came back on. I immediately brought it back and they scanned it. They got the same code that Auto Zone did and determined it was the catalytic converter. He told me he was going to buy one off of EBay because they were much cheaper off of EBay. I looked it up and they were much cheaper. There was also a bunch of information saying not to buy cheap catalytic converters off of EBay because they barely worked. I told him my concerns and he said he had already put a bunch of money into this car and was already losing money on it and that he was not going to spend more than he had to. The converter took two weeks to get in. I took it to the shop. They told me it would take one hour. It took four. Because of this, I could not take to my kids to an appointment they had. During all this, I received a couple of “sorry”s from them, but no compensation whatsoever, not even an offer of a cup of coffee while I waited in their drafty waiting room in the middle of nowhere for four hours. I talked to others who had such problems when buying cars from a used car dealer, and they received upgraded cars and such at no cost. I received a cut rate catalytic converter. My 30-day warranty is now up. I’m on my own with anything else that happens to this car from here on out. I’m worried, but I actually feel better taking it to my own mechanic rather than letting them fix it.

Selling junk cars not helping me with my car repairs worst dealership that Ive ever bought a car from I wish I never got one from here my car has been troubled me so much and also I got ripped off cause the car has lots of miles on it and its not worth keeping it all they wont even let me trade it back in he wants more money to do that its ridiculous I will never buy a car from here ever again they shouldnt be selling cars I dont know how they even pass inspection they all have issues and when I got my car the first day I had a flat tire turns out the tires were bad they cant even fix that and more problems occur thru each month and now my car is not running good needs new driveshaft not cool being ripped off and cant get help I wont be buying here ever again
