Everyone seemed to want to be helpful and cheerful! Good! There was a mix up as to the date/time of the appointment. It was mostly my fault for not noticing a last minute change. Staff scurried to make it work out.

Dr. Carlos Aguero-Medina is a fabulous physician and person. He is knowledgeable, compassionate and is a good listener. I truly feel that he cares and takes my individual concerns and health issues seriously and wants to work with me as he talks with me and not at me. I feel fortunate that he and the other providers at this office are there for me.

The time was fast. Right on appointment time. All employees are friendly and helpful. Dr Dean is my Dr Ive had for many years. I will never forget!

Your staff is always very responsive and friendly.We had our COVID shots here. The two ladies that were getting us ready are the reason I am here. They showed us around the clinic shared the philosophy of the clinic . Just very...positive and helpful. More interested in our well being than I felt I was getting from my previous doc...not the previous clinic but the doc herself. Felt is was worth investigating. My 2nd Visit with NP - Nicole Owens and very pleased. She actually looks at me when she is talking to me.

For the most part, Im pleased with the services at this location..My most recent visit did not accomplish a result.. I was getting frequent nosebleeds.. I was told, that if they continue, go to the emergency room of the nearest hospital.. I spent 4 hours bleeding in the waiting room at Mercy hospital on Rockton.. I finally left after being ignored...I never had a follow up with either, the hospital or Oak Street Health... I put in a complaint with the hospital...I know understand that I am nothing but a dollar sign to either...Im a number.. not a human... Im reminded why I am filled with anxiety and depression...Thank you for proving that I dont matter

I was not only given a prompt appointment, but was treated with the upmost care and the nurses and my doctor explained everything that I might experience with this vaccine including possible side effects. Which I’m happy to report I had none! After receiving both shots, they had me wait 15 minutes to make sure I’d be ok to leave! I highly recommend getting the vaccine!

I am disabled and on Medicaid and Medicare. So my insurance told me that I had to go here. I am dealing with so much right now and went to the doctor here and it was a great first experience. I am happy so far they send a driver to pick me up and take me home. They also send my meds to me at home instead of me having to find a way there. This is a place our community needed fo a long long time. A place for older people. Thank you Im glad they are there for my health and well-being all the way around.

Im sorry I went to Oak Street Health, Rockford, for these reasons. Centralized phone answering service is inefficient. Almost impossible to speak to anyone directly at the clinic. I left messages, but never received calls back. They botched up an appointment, I scheduled. When I arrived at the clinic, I was told there was no appointment for me. Not even an apology was offered. Some staff are rude.One doctor, in particular, kept reviewing the same things over and over with me, every time I saw her. She had no clue about me or my medical history; not did she seem to care.The two times I needed to see a doctor for something acute, I was told to go to an immediate care facility. I did, and the doctor, there, told me I should get a new doctor.My best summation of Oak Street is that it is a Medicare mill. Dont put your health at risk by going here.

I had high hope for this facility. But didnt take long and I already want to find another place. I had my first appointment December 3rd 2020. It went well but I had forgot my paperwork for a handicap renewal so I dropped it off a couple days later. Lady at front office said I might need an appointment for the Dr to fill out I explained that I was just there. Then she said they would call if I need to see someone. Fine no problem 1 week went by then 2 - 3 weeks. I ended up in the hospital for a long weekend. Had a return appointment the Dr didnt know why I had a return visit and pretty much was told good your out of the Hospital. I asked about my handicap paperwork and told Ill look into it. So I call again and ask whats going on with it. Nobody knows nothing. Then like 4 weeks later I get a call I need an appointment. Make it get there check in and sat there for an hour and a half. Go to front deck the had me down for a no show had to wait another 2 hours to see someone or make another appointment . I told them I was so frustrated this point that I think need to go somewhere else. Then they say well give the paperwork to the Dr. Thats a joke they lost the last set. I make another appointment and the lady ask me if she could do something to make it better like a tshirt or a coffee cup. Really thats makes it better really. I need you to do your job and have the Dr fill out the paperwork. I not sure if Im going to the next appointment

I love my Doctor, the nurses are awesome, but the front office staff treats me like an idiot. I am not an idiot. They took it upon themselves to cancel a scheduled appointment. They never even asked me!! I was also told that if I needed to get in to see a Doctor for a health issue, they should be able to fit me in..not to go to a walk-in clinic. I called today to try to get in later today and before I was transferred, I was told they dont have appointments. So frustrated. If it wasnt for the Doctor and nurses, I wouldnt go back!

Oak Street Health is an exceptional place for people on Medicare! My Doctor has just joined their facility not very long ago, but she has been my Doctor for over 10 years! I have followed her from 3 other places, that she worked before joining Oak Street Health. She listens to my concerns and they are discussed between us. I have always recieved return calls if i have called in. There was a mistake in reference to my insurance, billing, and some blood work that i had done, it was addressed without any further problems! I have to travel a ways to get there from where I live, but they are a great facility and worth the drive. The staff have always been polite, curtious and helpful. My experience has been better here than the clinics that want to run people in and out like cattle, and just send them from one doctor to another, and you still get nothing resolved or no answers! Thank you to ALL the staff at Oak Street Health, for making my experience a positive one! Great Job!

I dont understand this Organization if you have Insurance & medicare then why in the World they decided to go on Medicare. Gov & put wrong information on a Client of theirs for there Personal game without asking or telling the Patience to me thats underhanded & thats wrong. Well, sorry I dont wish to be apart of this Underhanded Organization Facility. Because this is FRAUD. You lost my Vote. I should of read the Reviews on you but I didnt but now I rather go back to my own LEGAL DOCTOR without no Lies & stab you in the back. Yes, Im done with this Company they are not truthful & not UP&UP with nothing they say.(PERIOD)

They dont deserve any stars. They where just on wellness tv. With a pack of lies. 3 weeks ago I was in the hospital and almost died cause they did not listen to me and do there job. Now I have blood clots that moved up to my lungs and I got to walk with oxgen tank. And Im only 36 years old. I told them that my legs where numb I told them as if blood was trying to push through. But they never listen. This place is not good at all. Then for my PTSD they try to put me in blood pressure medication. When I have a family history of low blood pressure. These people are awful . And i thought mercy Heath was bad.

The clinic is awful in so many ways. The answering service is hopeless. The drivers are great and most of the nurses are good, but the medical providers are hopeless. Theyre an appointment mill thats primary goal is to have as many appointments as possible regardless of whether or not theyre needed. A nurse tried to hold test results hostage. When that didnt work, she lied about the results in an attempt to get me to come back. That was after waking me at 9 AM after I told the office not to call me before noon.

The doctors don’t care about ur health I went there and they just gave me a a Medicean that it almost kill me I was in the bed for 2 weeks and I could breathe I decide to go to the hospital and they told me that they gave me something that made my stomach bad DONT GO THERE !!!
